Label has chosen Godsmak, I stand alone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Blue Label will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I think Kutsoo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Enter Sandman. Nailatikau has chosen Number of the Bollywood as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kooch throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rodrigues tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kooch is in Rodrigues's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Severino Rodrigues will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kooch on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Good leg kick by Rodrigues there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kooch swings for the body but Rodrigues moves out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rodrigues lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kooch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kooch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kooch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rodrigues wants to stand up but Kooch is controlling him.
Kooch not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Kooch throws a leg kick but Rodrigues sees it coming and moves out of range.
Kooch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kooch shoots in looking for a takedown. Rodrigues tries to sprawl out of it but Kooch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rodrigues manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Severino Rodrigues has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Kooch.

A clash of legs there as Kooch blocks the low kick.
Rodrigues connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kooch tumbling to the canvas! Rodrigues pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kooch was done - good stoppage!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jouppi feints and then cracks Cassano's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cassano down.
Cassano throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jouppi's waist but Jouppi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cassano off to one side.
Jouppi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jouppi smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Cassano fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jouppi avoids it really well and circles away.

Jouppi drops Cassano with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cassano looks back up at him and smiles so Jouppi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Cassano is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cassano. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Jouppi cracks Cassano with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Cassano falls to his knees and Jouppi doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seppo Jouppi!
A less than humble Seppo Jouppi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
