The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wang shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wang thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Wang content to control rather than advance.
Wang throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Mocny to regain full guard.
Wang controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
It looks like Wang might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wang's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Wang postures up in Mocny's guard and throws a big left but Mocny blocks it.
Mocny preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wang not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Wang throwing strikes from guard but Mocny blocks nicely.

Mocny utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Wang sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Hao Wang.
Mocny closes the distance but Wang moves to the side

and Wang counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mocny won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wang has hold of Mocny's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mocny tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wang cranks the arm and Mocny screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mocny, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ruotolo lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ruotolo lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Doubleg is still on wobbly legs! Can Ruotolo finish him?
Doubleg shoots and misses
and Ruotolo rattles Doubleg with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Doubleg tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ruotolo dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Doubleg stiff and motionless on the mat!

Kaato lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dirty at a distance.
Kaato turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kaato. That's going to slow Dirty down.
Kaato bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dirty's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Kaato lands a big head kick that sends Dirty tumbling to the mat! Kaato takes a step backwards and waves Dirty back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Dirty is rocked!
Kaato turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
OH! Dirty has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Kaato smells blood and charges in for the finish! Kaato unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Dirty sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
