The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guida lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Guida will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mityou tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Mityou shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Mityou was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The ground and pound from Mityou seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Guida regains half guard.
Guida throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and Mityou manages to pass to side control.

Bright shoots in and bounces Smith off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bright has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Smith is proving hard to escape from.
Smith has Bright pulled in close to control his posture.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Smith has his feet on Bright's thighs here. He's pushed Bright off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Bright screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Bonnar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Bonnar cracks Jones with a big right hand but Jones just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
