The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
David gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Drogo counters with a head kick that drops David!

David is rocked!
Drogo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Drogo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
David has a closed guard, preventing Drogo from standing up.
David is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Drogo is looking to stand up but David won't let him.
Drogo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Khal Drogo has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
David shoots in for a takedown but Drogo shows good takedown defense.

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Mic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hi my name is kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jon Jones struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 266.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jon Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Mic scores with the left hand. Jones knows he should have avoided that one.
Mic throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jones displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Mic throws out the jab.
Mic moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ken Mic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mic throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely.

Jones bounces back off the cage towards Mic, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Mic lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Mic celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
