The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Steen.
Steen looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Steen wants to clinch.
Steen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Steen has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Myers.
Myers scores with a nice body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Myers lands with a shot to the body.
Myers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Myers bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Myers throws a leg kick which misses Steen's front leg but catches the back leg as Steen tries to avoid it.
Steen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Myers connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Steen scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Rick Steen has been cut.
Jacob Myers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myers thuds a left hand into Steen's body.
Myers lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Myers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Steen drops his hands momentarily and Myers needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Steen just on the top of the head. Steen drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Steen - he's done!

A relieved looking Jacob Myers thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Tim Price (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jani Tor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pirkka First Choice Cola - "Jano ku talkkarilla". These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between New Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casob Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blood's entrance music is no worries. A fine choice. New Blood had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Casob Davis has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with New Blood's chin.
