Rousimar Palhares struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakhtin scores with a jab. Palhares acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Palhares looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bakhtin connects with a looping right hand.
Bakhtin fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Palhares takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bakhtin catches Palhares with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bakhtin stalks Palhares and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Palhares's face. Palhares staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Rousimar Palhares has been cut.
Bakhtin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Palhares's head.

Palhares is rocked!
Palhares doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Palhares is still on wobbly legs! Can Bakhtin finish him?
Bakhtin ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Palhares's jaw. Palhares's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Bakhtin does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

In his post fight interview, VortzU Bakhtin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Silva throws a series of punches but Carvalho avoids them all with ease.
Carvalho fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Silva goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Carvalho tries to clinch up.
Silva lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Silva.
Silva lands a hook that stumbles Carvalho back into the cage. Silva follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Carvalho to the canvas! Silva pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Carvalho has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Boran has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Kamara doesn't defend quickly enough and Boran has managed to lock this one up! Can Kamara escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Boran on a fantastic submission victory.

Kuusela is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Chuteboxe is surviving well by controlling Kuusela's body position as best he can.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chuteboxe has left one of his arms exposed and Kuusela doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Chuteboxe screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
