Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Laish Tenedos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Imran Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imran Khan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Antonescu counters with a straight right hand.
James takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Crin Antonescu has been cut.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
James creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Antonescu sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Antonescu tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Antonescu to the ground. Antonescu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Antonescu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Antonescu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Antonescu off to one side.

James is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Antonescu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Antonescu's back!
James thows a strike but Antonescu uses the opportunity to reverse the position! Great move by Antonescu as he ends up in James 's guard!
James is looking to stand up but Antonescu isn't so interested in that idea.

James throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Antonescu escapes and throws James's legs to the side, diving into side control!

James sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Antonescu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so James is just riding it out for now. Antonescu eventually gives up the hold.

Antonescu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
