Avelar tests Timmons's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Avelar lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Avelar fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Timmons.
A punch lands to the side of Timmons 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Avelar lands a lovely overhand right.
Avelar scores with a crisp jab that stopped Timmons in his tracks.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Avelar engages and cracks Timmons with a massive lead left hook - Timmons tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Avelar is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Syah Pernong is breathing heavily.
Falcone jerks Syah Pernong's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Syah Pernong drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Falcone goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Falcone because Syah Pernong was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
