It looks like Yevon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Mungo throws a right and a left that Yevon avoids nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Greg Mungo will probably get the nod.

Mungo is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Yevon's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Yevon was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Melendez crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Morrison - the referee stops the clock and Melendez gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Morrison. Melendez manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Morrison has cracked Melendez with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Morrison lands another huge swinging hook and Melendez tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Melendez, before Morrison can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tommy Morrison!
