7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eric Cartman! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Leonard throws a front kick that sends Cartman stumbling back into the cage. Leonard ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. A head kick by Cartman misses and Leonard counters with a good, hard body kick but Cartman shrugs it off. Leonard looks to land a combination but Cartman avoids it well. Leonard attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Cartman walks into a straight right hand from Leonard. Leonard takes a swing at Cartman's ribcage but misses. Leonard lands a leg kick that knocks Cartman off balance momentarily. Jill Leonard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Leonard throws a leg kick and Cartman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Cartman with a hook. Cartman swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Leonard. A telegraphed right hand from Cartman misses the target. Leonard lands with a thumping leg kick.

Leonard closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Leonard lands in his opponent's guard. Leonard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Leonard won't allow Cartman to sweep him here. Cartman trying to control the position here. Leonard trying to control but Cartman is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leonard in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Leonard pushes down on Cartman's leg and manages to get into half guard. Leonard thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cartman's head. Cartman wants to control but Leonard is keeping busy and won't allow it. Leonard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cartman keeps working. Leonard not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Leonard is stalling here. Cartman is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Leonard seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Cartman has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Leonard is looking to reverse the position. Leonard gets back to half guard. Cartman controlling the action here. Cartman not landing any meaningful shots this time. Leonard trying to control from the bottom.

Leonard shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cartman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cartman is pulling down on Leonard's head to control his posture. Cartman wants to sweep but no luck. Cartman trying to keep a closed guard but Leonard is proving a slippery customer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Leonard is desperately trying to improve his position but Cartman has a good base and remains in mount. Leonard regains half guard. Leonard tries to get to full guard but Cartman has control of the leg. Cartman keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Leonard has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cartman is working away from the top position though. Cartman with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Leonard looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eric Cartman wasn't active enough on the ground. Leonard with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

He's got hold of a leg but Cartman swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jill Leonard. That's going to take a lot out of him. Leonard throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cartman. Eric Cartman seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cartman misses with a straight left. Cartman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Leonard with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cartman to score with a decent uppercut. Leonard is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cartman throws a body punch but Leonard moves out of range. Cartman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Cartman is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leonard. Cartman bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Leonard fails with a takedown attempt. Leonard throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cartman misses with a kick to the body.

Leonard throws a leg kick and Cartman finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Leonard ducks under a wild hook from Cartman. A shot to the liver by Cartman. Beautiful body shot. Cartman misses with an uppercut. Leonard closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cartman circles away. Cartman loads up on a big right hand but Leonard slips the punch. Jill Leonard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cartman thows a left - swing and a miss! Leonard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cartman was well out of range. Poor timing from Leonard. Leonard takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Some wild striking there from Cartman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Carnitine lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Belanger backwards. Carnitine breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Carnitine fails with the takedown and Belanger counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Belanger has a takedown stuffed. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Carnitine.
Belanger throws a body kick that misses. Carnitine slips a jab and a cross from Belanger.
Carnitine clinches. Belanger misses with a hook from the clinch. Belanger blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Carnitine lands a knee to the head.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McNulty defends it well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mong avoids the head kick by Sokoudjou.
Sokoudjou moves into range and clinches up with Mong. Mong tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Mong misses with some punches.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Ball just misses with a punch to the body.

Ball has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Harvath. Ball is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harvath connects with an inside leg kick. Harvath tests Ball's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Ball is rocked! Harvath feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Ball collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!
