The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ranson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ace desperately trying to maintain half guard. Ace is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Ace manages to get to full guard.
Ace is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ranson is controlling him. Ace working a defensive guard but Ranson passes into half guard.
Ace is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ranson decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ace gets the takedown into side control. Ace stands up. Ranson connects with a stiff jab that staggers Ace - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Blixt! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blixt closes the distance and pushes Palhares back into the cage. Nice elbow from Blixt. Palhares tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Blixt smiles and moves away.
Palhares misses with a hook. Blixt tries to clinch up but Palhares circles away and keeps his distance. Blixt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Palhares, pushing him back against the cage. Blixt displaying some good clinch control by pressing Palhares up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blixt misses with an elbow strike.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. A nice glancing elbow lands by Blixt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blixt misses with an elbow over the top. Palhares tries to pull guard but Blixt holds him up against the cage and eventually Palhares drops back down to his feet.
Blixt will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Palhares up against the cage. Palhares pulls guard effortlessly. Palhares had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Blixt is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Palhares Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Blixt's back instead. Palhares working for the choke. Palhares looking for the choke but no joy. Palhares looking for the choke from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Palhares controlling well, preventing Blixt from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Palhares is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Palhares has the hooks in. Blixt is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Palhares is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Blixt with him. Blixt is trying to defend but Palhares has an arm under the chin now! Blixt grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Doidelzen is looking to clinch but Mane is avoiding it.
Doidelzen tries to clinch but Mane moves out of range. Mane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Doidelzen. Mane throws a push kick but Doidelzen slaps the foot to one side. Doidelzen moves in looking to clinch but Mane pushes him off. Doidelzen misses with a few strikes there.

It looks like Gucci Mane has been cut. Mane throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Doidelzen tries to clinch up but Mane circles away and keeps his distance. Nice defenses there by Doidelzen. Doidelzen throws a series of punches but Mane avoids them all with ease. Doidelzen dodges the punch combination from Mane.
Doidelzen throws a right and a left that Mane avoids nicely. Mane tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Doidelzen ducks under a wild hook from Mane. A jab from Doidelzen does it's job there.

Oooh a lovely combination from Doidelzen sends Mane down but not out. Doidelzen dives into side control looking to finish.

Gucci Mane's cut is getting worse. Mane is trying to control Doidelzen's posture but Doidelzen avoids it. Mane is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Doidelzen has just dragged him back down to the mat. Doidelzen tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Mane is trying to control Doidelzen's posture but Doidelzen avoids it. Mane is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mane is pushing Doidelzen's head away, looking to escape. Doidelzen manages to hold on to the position though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Doidelzen lands a with a good body shot. Mane is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mane misses with a two punch combination.
Mane on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Doidelzen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Doidelzen wants to clinch up but Mane keeps it at a distance. Doidelzen Rushes Mane and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Mane is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Doidelzen Piles on the pressure and Mane crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fensch connects with a crisp jab. Fensch slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. A chopping leg kick lands by Fensch. Fensch on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Stroud misses with an uppercut. Fensch saw that one coming. Stroud feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Fensch sprawling to the canvas! Fensch rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stroud finish him?!
It looks like Brian Fensch has been cut. Fensch looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fensch misses with a wild combination.
Stroud misses the jab. Stroud connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Fensch out cold! This one is over in a flash!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Martin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pigmentosa, who protects the arm well. Pigmentosa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pigmentosa tries to get out of the position. Martin tries to move to mount but Pigmentosa blocks the move with his legs. Pigmentosa manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Martin is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Martin wants to control but Pigmentosa is keeping busy and won't allow it. Pigmentosa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Pigmentosa is working for a submission of some sort.

Xeroderma Pigmentosa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Astyn Martin.

Martin has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Pigmentosa! Can he survive? No! He's out! Martin gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zwafigan throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Vasques stumbling backwards into the cage! Vasques bounces back off the cage towards Zwafigan, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Zwafigan lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Zwafigan celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Floor misses with a two punch combination.
Floor shoots for a takedown but Richell saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Floor shoots for a double leg takedown but Richell sprawls well. He's pushed Floor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Floor shoots in but Richell avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Killing Floor. That's going to take a lot out of him. Floor uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Richell. Richell moves out of range as Floor strikes. Killing Floor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Floor. Floor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Richell is fending him off so far but Floor persists. Nope, Richell circles away and we're back to standing. Floor closes the distance and clinches up with Richell, looking for a takedown. Floor pushes Richell against the cage but Richell circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Floor slips a straight right by Richell. Richell thows a left - swing and a miss! Richell throws a lazy right hand but Floor sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Richell lands with an overhand left. Floor throws a nice looking combination but Richell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Floor is breathing heavily. Richell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Floor is rocked! Richell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Floor sees it coming and avoids it easily. Oh Floor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Floor takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Floor seems to have got his legs back now. Richell throws a series of punches but Floor avoids them all with ease. Richell is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Floor. Richell throws a monster overhand right that drops Floor! Richell follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nose tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Nose fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Johnny fails to land the takedown. Johnny shoots in looking for a takedown. Nose tries to sprawl out of it but Johnny keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nose manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Johnny clinches up with Nose and pushes him back against the cage. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Johnny is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Johnny gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Johnny looking to pass the guard. Nose preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Johnny drops back for a leg! Johnny swivels though and keeps the full guard. Johnny has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nose can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Johnny looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Johnny is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nose is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Nose sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Johnny is trying to control. Nose wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnny has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Nose defend it? Johnny steps over the head and cranks it - Nose is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Johnny!

Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hicks paws at him with a jab and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silver's corner calls for a 1-2. Silver obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hicks stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Silver. Silver seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hicks shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Silver is backing up but Hicks catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Silver covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hicks Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Taylor scores with a sloppy right hand. Da La Rosa should have avoided that one. Taylor cracks Da La Rosa with an open hand slap. Taylor lands with a right and another and another! Da La Rosa is in big trouble! Taylor lands again and this time it's lights out for Da La Rosa! A quality knockout there for Taylor.
