The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Defoe throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dreamer.
Van Defoe tries for a takedown but Dreamer sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dreamer stalks Van Defoe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Van Defoe's face. Van Defoe staggers backwards, shaken.
Dreamer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Van Defoe closes the distance and clinches up with Dreamer, looking for a takedown. Van Defoe pushes Dreamer against the cage but Dreamer circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Austin Dreamer.
