HWP302: Marko vs. Breaker! PREVIEW

Man, you getting friggin lazy CBD! What's with these event names? Sounds like some crummy sales conference for greasy types in leisure suits. Lucky for the fans, it isn't. What we have coming up is a huge night of action headlined by a heavyweight title fight between the ever excellent Marko and Breaker. On top of this there's a card full of awesome and some tips from yours truly, get 'em up ya.

Brian "Crush" Adams vs. "Dynamyte" Donnie Darko

I can't blame Darko for having poor morale. If I were tasked with knocking out Brian Adams and most likely having mums all around the world try to kick me in the balls for trying I'd be pretty depressed too. A little known fact is that the well rounded Adams is not only a famous singer but he can knock people out and submit them equally easily. The problem for him will be, despite the poor morale, Darko is more or less a match for him and is riding a 3 fight win streak which has seen him win OTN awards in each and also a title with CFC. Both men are very explosive, looking to end fights early so it is a tough battle to call but I think "Dynamyte" has been looking to be the better fighter of late so I tip him to win via KO.

"The Lumberjack" Zapp Brannigan vs. Mick Mars

Here's an odd one for you, 31 year old veteran of 59 fights "The Lumberjack" Brannigan is taking on 30 year old veteran of 6 fights Mars. What has Mars been doing all this time? It's a mystery because Brannigan is certainly the better trained fighter and his 26 KOs from 31 wins means he certainly knows how to bring the pain. Mars has shown a preference for submission grappling but with "The Lumberjack" boasting quality wrestling it is difficult to know whether or not Mars has what it takes to put this grappling into effect. With Mars unable to finish Insano, a younger fighter with far inferior wrestling and jitsu, I don't think he is going to be able to stop Brannigan tonight and I expect him to be taking an early nap and wake up with the first professional loss of his career.

"Warpath" James Proudstar vs. Dante Fertit

Co-Main Event!

This time we have two very seasoned veterans shaping off in the cage as "Warpath" Proudstar takes on Fertit. Proudstar has looked bloody appalling of late, currently going 3 losses in a row whereas Fertit avenged the loss in his HWP debut and is currently 2 wins into a streak. A giant 18cm taller than his opponent, Proudstar will be hoping this height allows him to control some of Fertit's superior boxing. This shouldn't be too difficult as despite Proudstar's relatively weak chin, Fertit has shown he prefers to use his blackbelt or the judges in securing his wins so "Warpath" may have enough time on his hands to land a big fist of his own. This is a fairly tough fight to call given neither man has shown a real prevalence towards ending fights but I think it is time for Proudstar to reverse his fortunes and finally claim the KO which will allow him to put the first 'W' on his record for a long time.

"The Phenom" Cain Marko vs. J "Face" Breaker

Main Event TITLE FIGHT!

Title fight time in the main event as Marko challenges Breaker for the belt. This is "The Phenom's" first title fight with HWP despite a distinguished record which has seen him knock out greats such as Proudstar, Hogan (twice!), Ankle and Overdose. Breaker for his part has knocked out those folk too and more which is why he's the champ! That and world class boxing and muay Thai, oh and wrestling. That isn't going to daunt Marko though because he is equally skilled, if not more so, and at a whopping 40cm taller than the champ you like to think his kickboxing and arm reach should allow him to dominate. A difficult fight to call, between two great fighters from two great management teams but I think it is time for the belt to change hands and I am tipping a knock out victory for Marko and a championship from his first attempt!

That's it for the previews crackers, all that is left is for me to give you some red hot tips so you can splash some cash at the official HWP bookie! As always, K-Rad's Kickass Tips will give you a score from 1-10 telling you how confident I am, higher being better.
