ORG 100

Event Preview: O.R.G. 62 100th Event
Original Revelation Generation [O.R.G]
2012-09-08, London, Camden Conference Centre
Author:Ceasar Tomson

It is time, time for the crowning achievement of the ORG. It is the 100th event of the Original Revelation Generation. It has been a long time since the very first event and people have come and people have gone. There is our Hall of Fame alumnus Alexander Smirnov first winner of the Muay Thai league and a great fighter. Smirnov has moved on but will always be remembered. Golden Gloves has come and gone and was a great event to watch. We have the champions 135 lbs Liam Harrison, 145 lbs Colonel Chilcoat, 155 lbs Chris The Great, 185 lbs Craig Broph, 205lbs Casper Jenkins, and 265 lbs Chris Zorich all great champions. ORG plans to go another 100 events and beyond but we look to make this a night to remember.                                                                                                                                                                      Live from Camden Conference Center on September 8, 2012 we are ready for night 100. Now it is time for the first fight on the card.

185lbs Beau Brady v Tom Helm

Brady coming in after only having one professional fight and that was with the ORG and he did win that fight. I think he is looking at trying to keep his winning ways alive and to do that I think he needs to stick with his Muay Thai. Brady struggles on the ground so he needs to use his sprawls and work his strikes and punish his opponent and work for the knock out and make it two in a row. Helm is another animal, this is Helm’s first fight with the ORG and I think he needs to change up his thoughts and work his ground game. Yes he has a knockout victory and those are always fun but if he wants to make an impression he needs to fake a knockdown and work the ground game and get the submission. Brady may steal this won if he suckers Helm into playing his game.

185lbs Andrew Armstrong v Catfish Davis

These are two stand up fighters that I believe want to showcase those talents. Armstrong is a strong boxer and if he can work the jab and load up those big punches he has he may knock his opponent out with a strong combo. Davis on the other hand has the ability to attack from more than one angel hands, kicks, knees the whole package and if he’s smart enough to use them he’s gonna be able to out work his opponent. Davis might want to keep the clinch tight and lean on his opponent to wear him down and get the win.

185lbs Bartlomiej Potocki v Steve King

Potocki is a strong fighter and has told me that he is putting himself on a fast track for the title. Potocki has heavy hands and tree trunks for legs and he said that his opponent will not make it out of the first round on his feet. King is not a power puncher he is more of a guy who catches people with the money shot and puts them down. I can see maybe King slipping a shot and having a chance to steal this fight.

265+ Harry Ballbag v Lewis Ridgeon

Ballbag a fighter I don’t know about maybe he needs to find another line of work. Ballbag has won 5 fights in a row but he is so bummed out and quiet it’s like he doesn’t want to do this anymore. Don’t get me wrong this guy’s got talent but that will only take you so far cause you need to have that hunger to win it all. Ballbag’s stand up is good but he better watch the take down. Ridgeon is ready he wants this fight and he wants to be in a good spot when #1 contenders get talked about. When this fight goes for the take down and the drive that Ridgeon has it might be that little bit that causes him to dig down for that extra push and get the take down. If this fight goes to the ground it’s only a matter of time before a submission gets put on.

155lbs Dave Benevides v Joshua Davison

Benevides is coming off his first loss in a long time and for it to come as a judges decision is a heart breaker. He has a great submission game and at 155lbs and a good clinch game we may see a flying submission in this fight. Davison is a good boxer and if I was him he needs to stay on the outside and just jab for three rounds score the points if he hopes to win. If he gets close to his opponent or gets caught flat footed it may be over.

Co main event  155lbs Mitch Layden v Trevor Leszczynski

Layden a catch can submission wrestler and a great chain wrestler who can switch his submission attacks on the fly and wear his opponents defenses and squeeze a submission out. I can see Layden getting the win if he uses world class counters. Leszczynski is a stand up specialist but likes to take it to the ground. I believe this is the chance Leszczynski needs to swark his opponent like a blanket and not let him breath until the ref pulls him off and he gets the win.

Main event 185lbs Da Mian v Ray Rojer

The main event of ORG 100 and they picked an exciting fighter but an angry fighter as well. Mian is 14-6 and all six loses come from judges and this man hates judges with a passion. Mian is strong and knows how to stand infront of someone and take the punishment needed to let them get into a rhythm and then switch it up go to the ground and choke the like out of his opponent. He is a great fighter to have in the main event because he won’t let the fight go stail I like his chances in this fight. Rojer is going to look for the knockout in this one and if I was him he needs to time his opponents shoot and connect with a kick to the temple and finish this fight early. The longer this fight goes the more it plays into his opponents hands. Rojer take my advice swing for the fences or you won’t have a chance.

This is ORG 100 people enjoy the fights and I’ll see you at ORG 200
