When you mix Chocolate and milk you get? Chocolate milk. When you mix fire and ice you get? Water. When you mix two champion weight classes in one fight card you get? One of the greatest fight cards we will ever see. Ladies and Gentleman im back here to give you Blitzkrieg 129 Noire. Now I don’t actually know what Noire means so let me look it up real quick…it means Black according to Wikipedia. So Blitzkrieg black? Lightning war black? Black Lighting war? I don’t know but Noire sounds better! We have five great fights for you I really hope you guys enjoy this read and let me know what you think. I wish everyone good luck this Saturday be safe out there, el chupacabra is loose!

Harry Bush vs Luis Royo

The Hitman, Harry Bush will finally take on Luis Head Hunter Royo in an extremely interesting fight that will no doubt test the two of the divisions biggest men. These two 270lbs fighters are not looking for anything but a pure old fashioned knockout. How do you know? Because neither of them have gone for anything other than a knockout in their illustrious career. See At one time, both of these men were once in the top 100 as far as pound for pound is concerned, knocking out every opponent they came across. A few losses here and there ended up putting them below standards however and both had fallen off the charts. Now, these two men are looking to get back into the worlds best ranking as they focus on taking each other out. Spanish native Luis Royo is no stranger to the Blitzkrieg scene but hasn’t really made an impact here either. With only 1 victory in his 3 fights here he isn’t really someone people are watching closely. Royo knows this he knows that somewhere along the line he has fallen away from being considered one of the best ever but he also knows that if he wants to get back on top that he has to start winning no matter who that is against. Royo isn’t looking for a cheap boring fight, he never has, he is the kind of guy that will get in there and stand toe to toe with you before you drop or he drops and that will be the perfect weapon for his opponent Harry Bush. Arguably one of the funnier names in the sport Harry Bush is looking to grab his 8th win inside the Blitzkrieg cage. Bush who has been with Blitzkrieg since Blitzkrieg 69 is adding on his 12th fight this Saturday night against Royo but one thing that he has behind him is a two back to back knockouts and he is looking to add Royo to that list. Possiblly contending for a future title match his eyes are first set on the match which he knows could end at any moment. Bush is a far different fighter than most. Hes the kind of guy that if he wants something he will get right infront of you and take it. Most fighters try to develop ways to get it but Bush is always achieving that. The now 29 year old is training out of a great camp in Rio De Janiro Brazil. Having the opportunity to visit I got to witness some of the workouts they did there and its no surprise to me why he is quickly rising back to the top of the charts. Bush and Royo is a great matchup one that is sure to set a knockout of the night or even possibly a fight of the night. Personally im expecting this fight to end by the second round at the latest. This match is a huge fight for Royo, he needs to stay on the winning side of things at Blitz and if he doesn’t then you can be sure he will be fighting somewhere else trying to establish himself. Bush is looking for that number one contender spot and an impressive victory here could really put him up there. MY PREDICTION: Harry Bush is going to knock him out in the 2nd round no question. Hes on a roll and Royo has had a weird last five fights. It will be interesting to see what he can do here Saturday night.

Billy Dessler vs Jed Masilungan

When a night where the Lightweight Championship of the world is on the line it would only make sense to add two of the top lightweight contenders to that card and that is exactly the case here as Billy Dressler looks to take out Jed Masilungan. Billy Dressler who was the last man to fight Karnak Mandazur had his winning streak smashed by a unanimous decision defeat and his chance to finally hold the belt around his waist was lost, for the moment. Now he is ranked as the fourth top contender to face the winner of Marley and Mandazur no doubt he wants to be the one to take away that belt from Mandazur but the man standing across the cage from him Saturday will be one of the toughest men he will have faced since entering Blitzkrieg. Jed Masilungans last eight fights have actually been inside the Blitzkrieg cage and at one point for just a point he owned the championship of the world. The now 30 year old has never actually defeated anyone inside the cage decisively leaving a lot of fans to call him “pillow fists” and other crude names. When he fist stepped on the scene at Blitz 102 he lost his first fight there and with three victories later he would go on to defeat the blitzkrieg champion of the world. “He is an amazing fighter you know? It wasn’t to long ago he lost the belt and he has been steadily working his way back up to the top spot in the division.” Crimage trainers told me. The 155lbs was looking good, so good that his normal sparring partners could not keep up with him. He was quickly finishing his opponents one by one and his different approach was in training was the perfect answer to what we should expect come fight night. Billy Dressler, the New Yorker fighter, is just 25 years old with plenty of time to grow he is no doubt a force to be reckoned with. In just fourteen fights he has made it to the big leagues and the top 100 rank in the world. Currently he sits at a comfortable 44 and is no doubt looking to reach bigger and better heights. The lightweight fighter took the champion to the distance arguably winning 2 rounds out of the 5. Dressler would no doubt like to earn his way back up the ladder but in the mean time that title is something he will constantly dreaming of. When I phoned his gym to see if I could get an interview I got the receptionist and she was telling me that Billy or as they call him “Baby Boy” Is ready…Whatever she meant by ready we will be ready to see. Now Billy Dressler has to keep his head in the game and realize that his opponent tonight is tough and very skilled in every area. I think this will probably go the distance, even though neither fighter has really finished a fight in a while they are probably going to look for the knockout punch to much and that will be the exact reason why they wont get it. MY PREDICITION: Billy Dressler is going to win mostly by his youth. He will be quicker, stronger, and more determined than anyone Masilungan has fought recently.

Zeki Ata vs Jeff Munster

The Prophet, Zeki Ata, has enjoyed his shares of ups and downs in his last four fights with all of them ending by Knockout. In the first of the four he finished his opponent by a very decisive win in the 2nd round. While in the other two he suffered back to back knockouts. Finally Ata came back and knocked out his opponent to become what we know yet again as a fighter back where he belongs. This is his only problem; that he has yet to face a guy as dangerous as Jeff Munster. Jeff Munster came into Blitzkrieg knocking out his opponent in the first round and quickly earned recognition from the fans across the Blitzkrieg scene. Riding on a six fight win streak, the former CW Tokyo fighter is looking to become one of the best Blitzkrieg has to offer. His opponent is new to the scene and very dangerous. A fight like this only leads to one thing: Knockout of the Night! With both fighters coming in off of very impressive knockouts its hard to say that this wont just be a knockout of the night but something more. So much more in fact that it’s a fight we wont dare to miss. It will surely shake up the scene here in the 265lbs division and these two new comers will really show everyone that they are here to stay. The Florida native is traveling all the way from his base in Japan to meet the Turk in what will no doubt be an insane bout. The two who are set to square off here in New York will be looking to impress their managers and their fans with a fantastic victory. Truth is both of these fighters are very evenly matched. Both have been knocked out and have knocked out opponents and they both show great Jiu Jitsu skills so you really cant say one guy will win over the other its one of those who is ever more prepared for this fight will win. Zeki Ata who has flown in from Australia is looking good and very relaxed taking this time in New York to travel around and see the sights. Come Saturday night we will see two very explosive and possible champions go head to head. The fight features a very different combination of what the end result could be. MY PREDICTION: The six fight win streak will improve and Jeff Munster will knockout Ata.

Karnak Mandazur vs Bob Marley - Lightweight Championship

When a fight has a title involved its destined to be epic! Saturday is going to contain one of the greatest fights MMATYCOON will ever see as Karnak Mandazur the lightweight champion of Blitzkrieg who holds a professional record of 14-2 looks to take on Bob Marley a fairly recognizable face in Blitzkrieg with a professional record of 10-0. Oh is that not enough for you? Well how about this in a combined 24 victories they share a combined 16 wins by knockout. That’s more then half of the victories they share end by knockout. Both of these guys know what its like to go the distance in a five round fight so don’t expect to much problems as far as cardio goes. What we do have to worry about however is whether or not the experience will play a huge factor in this fight. Now Marley has faced opponents like Montoya, Wollsey, and Currie who all had more experience than him and Mandazur so personally Experience will not be the factor in this fight. So, if we eliminate experience, cardio, then what comes next? Technique? Well if we judged it that way it would take a pretty decent guy to be able to finish and hang in with some of the best Blitzkrieg has to offer. So what does Marley need to do if he can hang with Mandazur in all these areas? He needs to go out there and do it. The champion is great very skilled in every area of the game and is more dangerous then you could really expect if you were to match up with him. Recently he has sent some of his opponents home by knocking out four of them in a row. Yet since fighting for the title and defending it he hasn’t been able to finish either of those two opponents. There is no need to get nervous for Mandazur, he is the champion for a reason fighting two of the sports best and defeating them. “Round by Round gave him the crown and all that was left was an opponents frown.” A little poetry to how he performs. See its one thing to knockout a guy and be a fighter buts an entirely different to defeat a martial artist round by round and that is exactly what our champion does. When two top lightweights in the world go face to face you can expect fire works and what you can expect is someone to get beat and beat bad, most likely itll be both of them. Some say that Marley cant be defeated that he is to good while others think that its surely the end of the line for his undefeated streak. If there was any way for the champion to beat him he would find a rough sketch almost like a blue print inside the fight of Montoya and Marley. It was the closest of the fights he has ever had. Only edging that fight out by a split decision. There is no doubt that those two will have their own rematch one day but right now the sights are set much higher. Take a moment to put yourself in either of these fighters shoes right now. They have worked for this their entire life and now they are on the big screen watched by thousands. At any given moment these two men could fall to the others fist and watch as their dream is given away. It’s a dangerous game but this is what they have chosen and unlike so many other champions they are not 31 or 29 they are much younger and much more ready. Personally win/lose/draw you have to keep your eye on both of them I really do believe one of them will become #1 p4p one day. Im really excited for this match and personally I do not care who wins but I am expecting a fight of the night. MY PREDICTION: This is such a tough fight to predict. Ill go with Marley. In my mind I think he has a bit of a Golden Glory that a lot of people will recognize and he is looking to become a star quickly. Becoming the best orgs champion will surely do that.

Pat McDermot vs Schtolteheim Reinbach III - Middleweight Championship

And now….Ladies and Gents for your main event of the evening I give you…The Middleweight championship of the world. McDermot the most feared middleweight Blitzkrieg has to offer looks to offer Reinbach the third a chance to leave Blitzkrieg and not be humiliated. McDermot who joined the greatest Org in MMATYCOON went head to head with some of the best fighters the Middleweight division had to offer before finally transferring over to Blitz. A fighter very familiar with some of the org owners like Chuckw94 Pat got a quick title shot and boy was it a success. Most fighters have to wait a while but he earned it fight after fight he was on top of the world and when he fought Tito Hopkins the world was nervous but he went out there and destroyed his opponent like nothing you have seen from McDermot. The Blitz champion was immediately recognized for his greatness and looked to smash on other fighters as well but a quick face wanted his first title defense, a dangerous man that goes by the name Schtolteheim Reinbach III…His name alone strikes fear into the hearts of fighters and dyslexics alike. Reinbach has only lost two fights in his rise to fame and both of those fights came by way of decision. One of those fights was a bogus decision that people were calling for a recall but hey, never leave it in the hands of the judges right? While you might think Reinbach has been defeated twice that he really has no chance at winning this fight I want you to think again because truthfully he has a greater chance then you and I know. McDermot has been finished if you don’t remember while Reinbach has not. Reinbach has much more dangerous hands then most guys McDermot has ever faced. Now, all though both of these guys are fairly new to the Blitzkrieg scene it only means that we will be seeing top notch action from this division! What other match could really be a main event above the two lightweight champions? Reinbach who was actually born in the Vatican had Mass said over and over for him all over the world. The pope had this to say, “Reinbach is a great knight to the poor and a great servant to the hungry. The man fights not only for his friends and family but for those who have nothing. He is a true inspiration for modern times.” Reinbach who actually received theology training in the Vatican ended up learning martial arts over there before meeting Adam Knight and training with him. The #8 middleweight is known all over the world but is more commonly recognized by the poor and Catholics who love him to death. Clearly a fan favorite going into this match he will have the support of countless when the fight goes down. McDermot on the other hand is not so lucky to have been taught martial arts from the popes. McDermots background is more unknown then most can say. All anyone seems to know is that he is born in Chicago and is managed by Johnny Lee Paris. The #2 lightweight in the world might see his ranking boost up one if he defeats Reinbach decisively. MY PREDICTION: Reinbach. He has no way to be defeated yet and I think he will knockout Mcdermot when Mcdermot tries to go for any fancy moves.

Closing

Addendum by Gable:

The Featherweight Grand Prix kicks off tonight with two of the opening eight fights on Blitzkrieg 129.  On this card is the most anticipated first round match-up in the tournament featuring Alphons Draclau (#8 FW) v. Olle Koskinen (#2 FW).  Not too be outdone, Blitzkrieg Featherweight Champion, Angus Young, takes on his first round opponent, Alex Andre.

Alphons Draclau v. Olle Koskinen – Featherweight Grand Prix

Koskinen enters this battle on a fifteen fight win streak, winning twenty of his last twenty-one fights.  Koskinen is a sensational boxer who relies heavily on his fists.  He will mix in kicks, but not so much to do damage, but to distract his opponent’s eye to allow more accurate punches.  Just because he is a boxer does not mean he shies away from the ground.  Koskinen features a strong ground game.  He has the ability to sweep if he ends up on his back and, from there, he won’t just try and stand up.  He has been known to inflict some serious ground and pound.  In his last fight, despite being taken down three times and landing no takedowns of his own, Koskinen managed to land fifteen of eighteen ground strikes.  However, his opponent, Draclau is a ground fighting wizard.  Draclau is on his own fourteen fight win streak with an overall record of 18-1.  Draclau is an Olympic-level wrestler with a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.  Six of his last seven fights have ended early with four submissions and two (T)KOs.  He has proven adept and securing takedowns and patience in waiting for his submissions.  While flaunting a similar striking skill set, Olle appears to have the advantage on the feet.  No doubt, he’ll want to keep this standing.  In the event the fight does hit the mat, Olle would be wise to keep all limbs inside the roller coaster at all times.  If Draclau can grab an arm, a leg or a neck, Olle is in for some pain.  On the other hand, Draclau has never faced quite the caliber opponent as Olle.  Olle has tons of worldly experience and while Draclau has a good chin, Olle has the power to tap it.  The winner quickly establishes themselves as the one to beat in the entire field.

Angus Young v. Alex Andre – Featherweight Grand Prix

Angus Young is the reigning, defending Blitzkrieg Featherweight Champion.  With twenty-five wins in twenty-nine fights and experience against the most talented featherweights in the world, Angus Young has nothing left to prove.  Yet he entered this tournament with the intent of being recognized as the greatest featherweight of all-time.  Certainly, no one is going to mistake Angus as a powerhouse with knockout power, but his assets lie in his durability.  Angus has never been stopped.  He is extremely well-rounded with sensational boxing and muay thai.  Angus has the ability to attack from the outside or from the clinch with a mix of punches and knees.  His tenacious, aggressive forward movement has won him nearly every fight he’s ever been in.  Andre enters this test having lost four of his last six fights.  However, those losses have come against world-class competition.  Andre holds a unanimous decision victory (50:45) over Karl De Groot, a man who defeated Angus Young by majority decision (48:47, 48:47, 48:48).  The way Andre handed De Groot defeat is going to be his straightest path to victory against Angus: aggressive and accurate striking.  Andre has a granite chin and Angus does have the greatest power, so punches in bunches will be flying from both men.
