Fightworld Formula Sponsored Fighter Interviews

Fightworld Formula - FOR SALE!, Nutrition Company, Montreal
Company profile by General Mills

We interviewed 4 fighters this week. They are all sponsored by Fightworld Formula, an award winning nutrition company in Montreal. Each were given a question or two about their MMA careers. Their answers are as follows.

"The Mad Ronin" Horato Muchada - Retired Manager: Ethan Downs

We see the big "R" next to your name. But, are you truly retired? Or, might we see you as a corner man or possibly changing your manager's clothes in the future?

Muchada: I am retired from fighting. I have held title belts in 3 different orgs and I also fought several fights in the number one fighting org in Tokyo. I won my final MMA match with the same submission I started out my career with, so it was a nice way to put a stamp on my fighting life. As for what I will do in the future, right now I am just relaxing and enjoying my retirement. Perhaps in the future I will do some seminars at Ethan's gym or corner some fighters.

"Ultimate" Dee Stroya Manager: Ethan Downs

You've had a hard life prior to your early MMA success. Have you always had a big right hand? And, what past experiences have motivated you to get the KO?

Stroya: Yeah, I've been a fighter my whole life, man. Whether it be gang fights on the streets or just backyard fighting at my grandma's house. My right hook is devastating. I learned boxing from my grandpa and I grapple with the cops all the time, so I'm pretty good at defending myself. My coaches and the other fighters at the gym are always teaching me new things. Being part of the Convicted family has been great. I get to smoke weed and punch people in the face, two of my favorite things in life. I'm pretty green right now, but watch out for me in a few years, man.

Aaron "the animal" Witt Manager: Aaron Witt

Wow. Undefeated and a Hall of Famer at 24. Any keys to your MMA success?

Witt: There are several keys to my success. The first one being that my head is like a rock. It gets hit maybe a scrape or two, but no real damage can be done, only it is slightly annoying. The next key to success is being able to implement my gameplan which training with the olympic team make my wrestling sharper by the day. The third key to success is to never give up on what your goal is. I mean I wasn't the best at anything until I started getting on some uh special sauce not going to put it out there but for those of you who know my manager will know what I was taking, but it is something like a grenade when it gets in your system.

What does your nickname "the animal" mean?

Witt: The nickname the animal comes from my relentless killer instinct to just pound on all who challenge me. Sometimes I choose to break limbs but usually I like to just beat on people. It makes me feel better about being me.

You are a submission master. Will stand up or ground fighters ever be able to challenge you? Or is the belt yours to keep?

Witt: I don't ever see any one as a real threat. I have seen it all. Supposed great strikers meant nothing to me. I mean what you going to knee me in the head give me a little scrape? I will beat you senseless for that. Then there is these black belt ooo they scare me, they got a belt. I bought one at Walmart the other day. I think it's more effective than a little black belt that wants to lay on his back and get pounded. And as for my belt, I don't plan on losing it anytime soon. I may keep it forever.

King "of the" Nile Manager: General Mills

You seem pretty powerful with a solid chin, but you just had a loss. Why are you still fighting?

Nile: I slipped up and the TKO got the best of me. I got alot more to give. I'm a ruler of the cage, I signed a contract, and I plan on seeing that out and making my ancestry proud.

Is it tought being a bigger guy in the sport?

Of course. It's hard to find contracts. But, you gotta stay tough. You might not win 'em all, but that is what training is for. Train your body and your heart.

Thank you to the fighters and managers who took the time to answer these questions for the loyal MMA fans out there. If you would like your fighter featured in our next selection of interviews please contact us.
