  HFC 63:Wowie vs Bradford

185lbs

Sonny Bradford(4th) 14-9(3-1 HFC) vs. Maui Wowie(9th) 9-3(2-1 HFC)

It's striker vs. striker battle in the main event. Wowie is all-about KO, Bradford a bit more well-rounded. American is higher ranked of these 2, but Wowie with only promotional loss coming out of hands of champion Obuhov can catch him and that may be it. Very tricky matchup for both sides as Wowie must find a hole in Bradford's defence, Bradford must overcome that potential striking disadvantages to exploit Wowie's one-sideness.

265lbs

Billy Bob Holley(6th) 8-6(4-0 HFC) vs. Harry Milne(9th) 10-4

Holley seems to be born-again since joining HFC. Coming with negative record he picked up 4 consecutive victories with addition of fight/finish of the night awards each time. Here he has significant size advantage. Milne is a newcomer, recently competed in openweight, but his titlerun in United Blood consisted of beating 205ers and ended with a loss to 205er. Milne could be recognized as an underdog, but Holley prefers standing and Milne should have striking advantage there. Whoever wins it, closes to the title opportunity.

145lbs

Max Tauer(5th) 9-6(2-1 HFC) vs. Uryan Hall(10th) 6-6

Tauer welcomed Prathamesh Randhawa with massive KO in the 1st round. Following later loss to all-rounder Balbus he welcomes another grappler in Hall. Hall is predictable. Submission or KO loss. Tauer is Muay Thai artist what can somehow endanger him when clinching. Hall has to take him down, top or bottom, to avoid getting (T)KOed again. Classic confrontation of styles in featherweight.

265+lbs

Stefan Groeneveld(5th) 7-2(7-2 HFC) vs. Viktor Orban(11th) 5-4(4-4 HFC)

Both giants having 9 fights on their record face themselves for the 4th in their short careers! Australian leads 2-1, but Orban had only finish in their rivalry with clinch strikes. In the other 2 Orban's will to clinch exposed him for BJJ action of Groeneveld which allowed him to take decisions. Groeneveld must win by stoppage he has no point in fighting Orban looking at rankings, no other than revenge. For Orban it's an opportunity to upgrade his rankings. Their 4th meeting must be interesting one!

185lbs

Guillermo Mendez(14th) 10-6(5-5 HFC) vs. Thomas Lee(15th) 5-2

Promotional veteran Mendez welcomes fellow submission artist Thomas Lee. Despite they are back-to-back in the ranking, Mendez is much more experienced and more skilled fighter. Lee finished all his wins by submission, Mendez all, but one. Mendez has higher BJJ rank seems to be better striker too. But a newcomer has nothing to lose, maybe tactics or simply luck will allow him to surprise.

145lbs

Shelby Foote(14th) 4-1(3-1 HFC) vs. Baeddan MacAuliffe 5-5

Foote bases on his grappling with all his wins coming by submission or decision thanks ground control. MacAuliffe is very skilled grappler as well. All the loses for Irish fighter came via (T)KO. His debut in the promotion is against similar level fighter. Is it all grappling bout coming or they choose to avoid opponent's strength and risk a brawl there?

170lbs

Yohn Royce(14th) 9-1-1 vs. Jimmy Pritchard 4-2

2 newcomers clash in the welterweight matchup. 8-fight undefeated streak says a lot for Royce. It's first proffesional bout for Pritchard who competed exclusively in QFC. He must prove his KO power against much more experienced opponent.

145lbs

Shane Gooseman 7-5(5-3 HFC) vs. Tigey Maquigregor 7-11

Irish fighter comes to HFC after very strange period of his career when he fought guys 2-3 weight, once even 4 classes bigger than him. Gooseman is underrated because he doesn't score finishes. His wins come via decisions thanks methodical striking. This time Maquigregor is only 1 weight class smaller, but it is the opportunity for Gooseman to win by stoppage only 2nd time in his career.

155lbs

Brandon Stark(8th) 7-10 vs. Conor Tiernan(10th) 0-0

Irish fighter's manager preffered to train him before sending him to fight. Stark fought many times, but his results weren't good. 2 fighters with very low rankings, but it has nothing to do with their real skills, their martial art ratings are very high and it is definitely fight to watch at HFC 53. One of them may be a future star of recently opened 155lbs division. Whether Stark will be born-again or Tiernan enjoy a big opening to his career?

170lbs

Daniel Barbosa 1-0(1-0 HFC) vs. Tim Maguire 1-3(0-1 HFC)

Barbosa started his career with lopsided decision. Maguire's first fight here was against much better striker. Barbosa must keep the distance and strike his way to victory at distance. When it goes to the clinch Maguire should be stronger. Fights between youngsters with limited skillset are always interesting as action may turn 180 degrees any time and it's one of such a fights.
