(Middleweight Division) Jed Knight versus Jason Dee Penn

Round 1 – Jason Dee Penn straight out of the gate with guns blazing, looking to land shots on the less experienced Jed Knight. After landing a body shot and eating a one-two combination, Dee Penn landed a double leg takedown into guard. After several minutes of inactivity, the referee forced the fighters to stand and reset in the center of the cage.

The fans grew more restless as both men were waiting for the other to make a mistake. Knight cracked Penn with a nice right hand and ate a left hook for his trouble. Penn landed another takedown and attempted to pass into half guard, but Knight used the opportunity to sweep, landing him in guard on top. Penn immediately threw his legs up, looking for a triangle or perhaps an armbar, and Knight stood up, slamming Penn to the floor, breaking the hold!

Knight escaped to his feet and landed some crisp punches on a noticeably fatigued JD Penn. Knight clinched with Penn against the cage, then pushed away, landed some shots, and clinched once more, spending the remainder of the round controlling his opponent.

Round 2 – The fans weren't all too thrilled with the level of action in that first round, but that disinterest was soon replaced with energy as Knight came out swinging! Knight landed a pair of hard jabs, followed by a left hook! JDP was hurt bad by the left hook, and almost went down! Knight pushed forward, narrowly avoiding a takedown attempt from Penn! Jed Knight cornered Jason Dee Penn and went to work! Jab, cross, uppercut! Jason Dee Penn went down, out cold!

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at seventeen seconds of the second round, declaring the winner by KNOCK OUT: Jed Knight!”

(Welterweight Division) James Gattis versus Stephen Dean

Round 1 – Both fighters came out throwing mid kicks, and Gattis landed a swift jab on the button. Stephen Dean struggled to survive the early pressure of Gattis, who was constantly working- constantly attacking. James Gattis missed with a head kick, failed with a double leg takedown, missed with a jab, and clinched instead. Dean escaped the hold and landed a jab to the body before scoring a double leg takedown of his own, landing in guard on top.

From the top, Stephen Dean was as aggressive with ground and pound as Gattis had been with strikes on the feet- this cost Dean the position, as Gattis rolled to guard on top. Dean escaped and pushed his way back to his feet- although Gattis pressed him against the cage. In the clinch, Gattis threw punches, elbows, and knees, never letting up on the gas pedal at all.

Gattis picked Dean up and slammed him to the floor in a massive suplex! Gattis immediately started working for a submission, having taken the back of Dean prior to the takedown! Stephen Dean was in big trouble with over a minute to go in the round! Fortunately, Dean managed to survive until the bell sounded.

Round 2 – The constantly pressuring James Gattis opened with a turning side kick that narrowly missed the mark before landing a jab. Dean responded with a slapping leg kick, and Gattis dragged him back to the floor. This time, Dean held on and managed to stall long enough for the referee to stand them up.

Back on the feet, the pace had noticeably slowed since the opening round, with the output of Gattis being turned down multiple notches. Gattis clinched and then broke free. As tired as Gattis obviously was, Stephen Dean seemed to be even more tired, as neither man was really working for a finish by the end of this round.

Round 3 – Gattis clinched but couldn't hold on and ended up circling away. After failing with a pair of takedown attempts, Gattis scored a double leg on his third attempt, landing himself in half guard on top. Dean worked diligently to stand, but couldn't do it. Gattis went for a lazy kimura, but pretty much just laid in position until the referee stood them back up.

Gattis threw a half-hearted one-two combination, ate a lazy leg kick from Dean, and responded with a one-two that had a bit more pep on it. Dean immediately scored a takedown into guard on top. After a solid minute of non-action, Gattis wall walked back to his feet and played the slowest game of keep away that a paying audience has ever been subjected to.

“Ladies and gentlemen, after three rounds we go to the judge's scorecards for a decision. All three judges score the contest 30-27 for the winner by Unanimous Decision: James “Gas Tank” Gattis!”

(Light-heavyweight Division) Johny Monemonic versus Dudley Fraiser

Round 1 – Monemonic opened with a power double leg attempt in the opening seconds, but Fraiser sees it coming and defends appropriately. Monemonic attempted to wrestle several times over the course of the next minute, and Fraiser tagged him with a few power punches that had him backing off. Fraiser ate a three punch combination and clinched with Monemonic, looking to tie him up.

From the clinch, Monemonic was landing some brutal knees, punishing the midsection of Fraiser. After trying to break free from the clinch a few times, Fraiser pulled guard instead. With Monemonic in his guard, Fraiser started working the high guard, and transitioned to a deep armbar! Monemonic was in big trouble... he fought the lock but eventually tapped to prevent injury.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at three minutes and fifty-seven seconds of the opening round, declaring the winner by tap out due to an armbar: Dudley Fraiser!”

(Heavyweight Division) Broderick Brickstock versus Sukro Lesmono

Round 1 – Right away, Lesmono clinched and held on to Brickstock against the cage. With reports coming out of Lesmono's camp that he has been working on his balance, it's obvious that he has been preparing for takedown attempts from his opponent. After failing to score two takedowns of his own, the third time was the charm, as Lesmono tripped Brickstock to the floor.

In guard, Lesmono worked to pass the guard, but left himself open to a sweep, which Brickstock happily acted upon, rolling into guard on top. Brickstock left himself open as well, and Lesmono rolled back to the top position.

Lesmono landed some pitter-patter ground and pound while looking to pass the guard, and Brickstock rolled to the top in mount! This was big trouble for Lesmono! Brickstock held on tight and did little else. Lesmono managed to get back to half guard, and eventually to full guard once again, but Brickstock escaped to his feet. With seconds remaining in the round, Lesmono scored one last takedown into guard.

Round 2 – Brickstock opened with an immediate takedown of his own this time, landing in side control on top. As Lesmono attempted to shrimp his hips and either escape or at least get to a better position, Brickstock easily stood back up.

Lesmono attempted a double leg takedown, but Brickstock stuffed the attempt and circled away. Lesmono attempted another takedown, and Brickstock threw a wild series of punches- it looked cool, but nothing of consequence landed.

One minute into the round, Brickstock pushed forward with a big left-right combination that sent Lesmono crashing to the floor! Lesmono wobbled his way back to his feet with blood pouring down his face, and Brickstock tagged him one more time with a jab-uppercut combination that put Lesmono out cold stretched!

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute twenty-nine seconds of the second round, declaring the winner by KNOCK OUT: Broderick “The Bastard” Brickstock!”

(Middleweight Division) Justin James versus Bill Brown

Round 1 – Bill Brown scored an immediate takedown into half guard, which was big trouble for Justin James! However, James immediately escaped and returned to the center of the ring. From there, Justin James went to work: after landing a big overhand right, he made Brown pay for a flopped takedown attempt by stinging him with a right hand.

Bill Brown started swinging for the fences, throwing punches that were never going to land, all in the hopes of landing an errant finishing blow. One minute into the fight, James upped the pressure, landing jabs and right hands down the middle, rocking Bill Brown! Brown came in, looking for a takedown, and ate a jab-right hook that knocked him out cold! Big win for Justin James!

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute fifty-seven seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by KNOCK OUT: Justin “The Outlaw” James!”

For his post fight speech, Justin James said, “It feels great to win against such a skilled fighter like Bill Brown. Also to have so much support in doing something that have been doing all my life. My Manager Big Herm, Bravado Productions and all the coaches over at The Iron Palace who have trained me. This win is for you.. Thanks Fans!”

(Welterweight Division) Willie Salazar versus Eric Jackson

Round 1 – Eric Jackson opened this fight with a flashy head kick that briefly stunned Willie Salazar, prompting Salazar to attempt to clinch. Jackson stayed away, and attempted to repeat his success with another head kick that missed by a mile. Salazar rushed forward with a wild combination that missed, and then failed in an immediately repeated attempt. Jackson stung Salazar with a body kick and then clinched, landing brutal knees to the head and body of Salazar against the cage.

For several minutes, Jackson dominated from inside the clinch; Salazar flopped a takedown attempt, and then pulled guard. From the guard position on top, Eric Jackson went to work with ground and pound, until Salazar reversed, landing in guard on top instead!

Salazar attempted to pass the guard before going for an awkward guillotine attempt from the top... Jackson used the moment to escape! Clinched against the cage, Jackson landed a few short range punches before the round ended.

Round 2 – Jackson clinched straight away this time, and both fighters landed some shots against the cage. Jackson broke free of the clinch but immediately tied Salazar up again, and went back to landing knees. Salazar pulled guard and Jackson stood up, letting the man fall to the floor.

Jackson dominated several minutes from a distance, landing hard shots from the outside, and so Salazar clinched up once again. Jackson tagged Salazar with some hard knees to the kisser late in the round, rocking Salazar badly, but Willie Salazar managed to hold on and survive the round.

Round 3 – Eric Jackson dominated this round with his clinchwork. As Salazar began to slow down, Jackson kept the pressure on him, landing brutal knees, as well as some great kicks at a distance. Total blow out for Eric Jackson.

“Ladies and gentlemen, after three rounds of action we go to the judge's scorecards for a decision. All three judges score this bout 30-27 for the winner by Unanimous Decision: Eric “Clinch” Jackson!”

(Middleweight Division) Willie Glee versus Daniel Cohen

Round 1 – Willie Glee came out swinging the second the referee said “fight”, but Daniel Cohen was much too fast for the wild punches of Glee. Cohen countered a sloppy left hook with a three punch combination, followed by a leg kick that almost knocked Glee to the floor. Cohen stood right in front of Glee, using pure head movement to avoid incoming strikes, and landed technical blows of his own.

Cohen clinched up with Glee, holding him against the cage before he landed some strikes and pulling guard. Glee pretty much just laid on top of Cohen before Cohen escaped back to his feet.

This round was a complete domination by Daniel Cohen.

Round 2 – Much like the opening round, Glee came out swinging, but found himself receiving some abuse for his troubles. Cohen broke Glee's nose with a head kick, clinched, and then pushed away again. Cohen clinched once more, pulled guard, and then escaped. Rinse and repeat.

Round 3 – Willie Glee came out, as though looking to strike, and instead scored a takedown into the full guard of Daniel Cohen. Cohen escaped, and was held against the cage by Glee. Cohen reversed the position, landed a few quick punches against the cage, and then broke free.

Back at a distance, we saw more of Daniel Cohen's Matrix style head movement, as well as his crisp counter-striking game, as he made Glee pay for every failed blow. Willie Glee started coming forward, more aggressive, obviously knowing that he needed a finish to win this fight. Glee attempted a jab, and Cohen caught him coming in, smashing a brutal head kick against the neck of Glee! Willie Glee went down, and Daniel Cohen poured on the ground and pound from the top, forcing the referee to intervene!

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes and sixteen seconds of the third round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Daniel Cohen!”

In his post-fight victory speech, Daniel Cohen thanked the fans in attendance for their support.

Willie Glee said, “I'll be back.”

(Middleweight Division) Frank Miller versus Jack Quinn

Round 1 – Jack Quinn scored an immediate takedown into the full guard of Frank Miller. Although he attempted to do some damage from above, Jack Quinn was unable to make the position count, and so the referee stood the fighters up.

Quinn responded with an immediate takedown into guard once more. After a similar amount of time to the first go around, the referee once again stood the men up, and Quinn brought the fight to the ground yet again. With one minute left in the round, never man had really landed anything of substance, aside from the takedowns themselves. With thirty seconds on the clock, Jack Quinn postured up from guard and started working ground and pound, to the chorus of boos from the audience.

Round 2 – After avoiding a few sloppy punches from Quinn, Frank Miller scored a takedown into side control. Quinn regained half guard, and Miller immediately passed back into side control. Quinn got back to half guard again, so Miller started pushing a forearm choke on him. As Quinn defended the choke, Miller passed into mount!

Frank Miller started hunting for the armbar, rolled for one! But Jack Quinn managed to defend the position. Near the end of the round, Jack Quinn reversed to the top and attempted an awkward guillotine that never went anywhere. Quinn landed some pitter-patter shots to close out the round, but Jack Miller dominated this five minute period.

Round 3 – Quinn rushed forward, throwing a series of sloppy, looping punches, but Frank Miller ducked under and attempted a double leg takedown! Quinn stuffed the attempt. Miller chased him down, faked some punches, and then dove into the legs of Quinn, taking him down.

From the closed guard of Jack Quinn, Frank Miller was forced onto the defensive, as Quinn was working a high guard, threatening with submissions. A lengthy position battle ensued, with Miller advancing to full mount! Frank Miller attempted repeatedly to force a choke or armlock from the top position but was unable to make anything happen.

“Ladies and gentlemen, after three rounds we go to the judges scorecards for a decision. All three judges score the bout 29-28 for the winner by Unanimous Decision: Frank “Mental” Miller!”

(Middleweight Division) Inferno Pandaa versus Joyo Kumlakar

Round 1 – Joyo Kumlakar attempted an early takedown that failed horribly, and then repeated the attempt with a little early-round submission spam. Inferno Pandaa shrugged off both attempts and clinched, pushing Kumlakar against the cage. With Kumlakar trapped against the fence, Pandaa went to work, landing some hard knees to the body of Kumlakar! Joyo Kumlakar took a big, deep breath not even one minute into the round, obviously hurt from a body shot!

Pandaa landed a big knee to the face that opened a cut over the eye of Kumlakar! Inferno Pandaa started landing more and more knees, and Joyo Kumlakar covered up against the cage, obviously hurt! Oh, Panda rocked him with a big knee from the Thai plum!

Joyo Kumlakar recovered from the damage a bit, and started working desperately to take Pandaa down, with no success. Pandaa pushed the action, landing more and more knees against the cage! Kumlakar went down hard! Pandaa immediately clinched him back up when he regained his footing, and went back to work with the knees! Kumlakar went down against the cage and Pandaa hammered him with right hands until the referee stepped in to save Joyo from more punishment!

Inferno Pandaa is now the linear Sovereignty light-heavyweight champion.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at two minutes fifty-one seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Inferno “Mr. Singapore” Pandaa!”

In his victory interview, Inferno Pandaa gave a speech about his own greatness that came off a bit cocky. I wonder why.

(Light-heavyweight Division) Jackson Brown versus Arnoldur Dimotroglu

Round 1 – Jackson Brown went to work early with power punches from the outside; Dimotroglu responded with a quick-footed takedown into the half guard of Jackson Brown. Dimotroglu went to work immediately with ground and pound!

Jackson Brown tried to escape, but was completely pinned beneath Arnoldur Dimotroglu, who was relentlessly battering Brown!

“Jackson Brown is in BIG TROUBLE,” the ringside commentator shouted into his mic!

Dimotroglu cracked Brown with a big elbow from the top and Brown rolled to his side, covering up! Dimotroglu postured up, landing elbow after elbow! The referee took a long look, commanding Brown to fight back, and after a few moments passed, he pulled Dimotroglu off of him, stopping the fight!

“Ladies and gentlemen, the referee has called a stop to this contest at one minute, fifty-eight seconds of the very first round, declaring the winner by T-K-O: Arnoldur Dimotroglu!”
