Welcome to the midweek Fight night featuring a large component of fighters from the Manager Jediblade as he puts his fighters to the test against some experienced and difficult opponents.
205 lbs. 3x5 Minute Rounds Kangeroo Poo (6-5) v Igor Zanta (5-1) With Zanta looking to continue his win streak he was battling hard in the first round to find his range and overcome an early cut. However fending off 5 submission attempt and taking the advice from his corner round 2 was all Zanta as he managed to get the fight into his domain and worked Poo in the clinch cutting him with an elbow and half way through the round connecting with a devastating knee that rocked Poo and resulted in a series off unanswered strikes that had him hitting the mat and tapping out from the strikes rather than continue to take more punishment. Winner by way of Submission (Strikes)Igor Zanta after 3:53 of round 2 and going to 6-1265+ lbs. 3x5 Minute Rounds Mac Gargan (1-0) v James Le Bleu (2-1) Taking an early barrage and being cut within second Gargan’s eyes narrowed and he unleashed a series of strikes that decimated his opponent knocking him out cold and creating a frenzied Yeeeeeeeeeeah Winner by way of KO (Punch). Mac Gargan after 0:31 of round 1 and going to 2-0.265+ lbs. 3x5 Minute Rounds Marcus Attilius (1-0) v Andre Roussimoff (1-0)
Attilus certainly came prepared to bang as he fending of the continued clinch attempts from Roussimoff and instead put together a boxing Clinique. Before the first minute was on the clock Attilus connected with a flurry of perfect strikes resulting in a right cross which generated enough power to see the mouth guard of Roussimoff sail over the cage and into the first row, winner by way of KO (Punches). 265 lbs. 3 x 5 Minutes Rounds Steve Farell (1-0) v Mario Secondante (0-0) Well a Snafu of planning meant Steve Farell did not make it to the correct location before the fight and as a result, his bout with Mario Secondante had to be cancelled.170 lbs. 3x5 Minute Rounds John Sullivan (0-1) v Serafin Cuevas (3-2) Both fighters came out aggressively but within seconds Karelin had knocked Cueva down waved him back up and the unleashed a strike rocking Cueva and producing a nice cut, then with a striking battle being unleashed Cueva again was on the wrong end of the encounter being knockdown again where he was again waved up before being dropped again and this time being punched into unconsciousness. Winner by way of KO (Punches). John Sullivan after 0:45 of round 1 and going to 1-1265+ lbs. 3x5 Minute Rounds Leonid Kirgiakos (5-4) v Alexander Karelin (0-0) Karelin was quick to work on the Kirgiakos weakness by clinching quickly and using his superior Muay Thai to man handle Kirgiakos as he was unable to break away and received a barrage of strike which resulted in a cut becoming a worry as blood streamed everywhere and the elbow strikes of Karelin causes a doctors stoppage. Winner by way of TKO (Cut). Alexander Karelin after 1:15 of round 1 and winning his debut fight to go to 1-0.185 lbs. 3x5 Minute Rounds Larry Foley (0-0) v Jason Hawks (1-4) Foley showed a lot of talent and heart for a debut fighter as he was cut early, knocked down and then jumped on as he was on the bottom and covering up against strikes, but again hit and rocked he then showed composure to defend seven submission attempts and somehow get back to his feet. Once on his feet he was again trying to recover from Hawks constant pressure and then out of nowhere he landed a strike which sent Hawks down where Foley jumped onto of him and ground and pound out a quick victory from the jaws of defeat. Winner by way of TKO (Punches). Larry Foley after 3:43 of round 1 and winning his debut fight in impressive fashion to go to 1-0.
