Primal Fear 280K+ , Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by War Pig

The Hard Knocks will be buzzing with anticipation when Primal hits the scene yet again for the second round of their lightweight tournament in a card stacked with the best up and coming lightweights and some of the best fighters of the future looking to skyrocket into the big time.

Main Event
Uriah Gastelum vs Jose Maia

The nights main event pits two prolific middleweight talents against one another in their quest toward capturing middleweight title gold in the near future with the winner likely taking that step into a middleweight title fight.

Uriah Gastelum enters the fight riding a perfect 4-0 start to his career, finishing all four fights by strikes, he will be looking to test the chin of his opponent in what shapes to be his toughest test yet as a professional fighter. Heavy hands, a proficient boxing game and a strong wrestling base means Gastelum has the capability to take this fight where he wants, whether he risks taking it to the mat and getting subbed is something to look out for, will he tempt fate?

Jose Maia, a grappling weapon with a developing striking game, coming out of the School of Hard Knocks gym in New York will be looking to improve on his 2-0 start to his career. Expect to see Maia trying to get this fight to the ground at all costs where he will look to take a limb back home as a trophy, there's no secret to it, Maia wants this one on the mat, will Gastelum oblige?

Lightweight Tournament Fight
Heng Jiang vs Joe Baker

The lightweight tournament takes one step closer to the end when Jiang and Baker square off in a highly anticipated fight on the weekend.

Jiang, a well rounded fighter with a wrestling pedigree will be looking to continue his march toward the top of the division on Saturday night. After blitzing through his first opponent, Oliver Smoak, Jiang has continued to excel and improve his stand up game, however only time will tell if it has been enough to get over his opponent.

Baker, a Muay Thai wrecking machine who prides himself on taking his opponents apart with his devastating kicks will look to continue on with his previous fight and dominate on the outside with leg and body kicks to slow down his smaller opponent, Jiang. Expect to see a standup war.

Lightweight Tournament Fight
Jose Perez vs Dyson Too

Perez and Too clash in the first of two lightweight tournament fights that will be held on the night, with the winners advancing to a the finale and one step closer to securing the cash prize.

Jose Perez enters the fight riding high on his 3-0 professional record, an accomplished wrestler with destructive ground and pound and a natural thirst for the finish, he is one of the more exciting and unpredictable prospects in the division, the perenial underdog who was touted as being inexperienced, he has thrown the criticism and lack of faith into the face of his doubters on route to destroying three fellow prospects, will there be a fourth?

Dyson Too, much like Perez is a natural wrestler with a killer instinct, running through his first two opponents, his knack for landing strikes on the ground is a feature of his game and one he will look to employ,

his speed and intelligence will hold him in good stead and may help him to acheive top position in order to start raining down those thunderous hammer fists, however rumor has it from the Too training camp that he has been working tirelessly to improve his striking game and may well bring a new arsenal of weapons to the fight and look to light Perez up on the feet.
