Jay: Hey everyone. You guys know by now that I'm Jay and this is my old man, Ray. And we host Ray and Jay's previews of UPF events. Now first off I would like to congratulate manager Rico Rico. He was the only entry into the contest last week and he choose to play against Ray. And, he beat Ray by two fights. Making him the winner of the weekly contest. Oh yeah, here is your $10 back, Pops. Seeing as you beat me. (Pulls $10 out of his pocket and hands it to Ray).

Ray: Yeah, but it wasn't easy. We actually tied in picking the winners and the type of win. We had to go to the second round of tie breakers to determine the winner. But, $10 is $10. (Snatches the money from Jay).

Jay: So now for this weeks event, brought to you by Conquer and UPF Sports Book. 10 fights, 2 title fights. Few guys battling it out for position. It's going to be a great night of fights.

Ray: Can't wait! Alright, so let's take a closer look into the fights on the card. We open up the undercard with a banthamweight bout between Malik Billings and Waldo Claudiano. I actually think this is going to be a really good fight. If you just look at the stats, Billings would seem to be the obvious choice, he's undefeated, he has already beaten Waldo once. Meanwhile, Waldo has gotten off to a rocky start. But, I think Waldo will pop his cherry on Saturday.

Jay: Well, I see this one differently. Having bested him before, I feel Malik will do the same again this Saturday.

Predictions

Ray: Claudiano by Decision

Jay: Billings by Decision

Jay: So, fight 2 on the undercard is also in the banthamweight division. But, before I get into it I would like to mention that all these fights are available for your betting pleasure at UPF Sports Book. They offer fair odds. But, back to the fights. Jim Brown goes up against Bruce Flee. Bruce will be looking to use his height to his advantage as he stands 5'9 and his opponent, Brown, is only 4'11. These two are very evenly matched and I think it's going to be a close fight to call. Too close to call, but someone has to win, unless they draw. I'm going with Flee on this one. But not sure why.

Ray: We have a couple of inexperienced youngsters here. I don't see either of them having a real advantage. I think that Bruce Flee looked really good at his workouts. I'll go with Flee second round KO, probably by a head kick.

Predictions

Jay: Flee by Decision

Ray: Flee by KO (Head Kick) at 3:05 of round 2.

Ray: Coming up next we have a featherweight matchup between Sydney "Decision Artist" Wilson and Franco Murphy "The Titam" Johnson. No contest on this one. Wilson by KO in the first round.

Jay: Haha. You got that one nailed. I'll just say ditto.

Predictions

Ray: Wilson by KO at 4:25 of round 1.

Jay: Wilson by KO at 1:34 of round 1.

Jay: Alright, to finish up the undercard, we have a matchup in the welterweight division. Snake Jackson will face off with another BJJ fighter in Chris John. Both of these guys have achieved the level of purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu and it would be awesome to see them in a grappling battle. Jackson has arguably better wrestling, while John no doubt has the better stand up. I wonder if John will decide that trying a submission could prove too difficult and decide to keep it standing, if he can. I do think Jackson will get the takedown if John tries to keep it standing though. Jackson by Submission, round 3.

Ray: Yeah, this is going to be a good match up. A couple of fantastic grapplers, neither of them have ever been forced to tap. I don't expect John to try to keep this fight standing. I think this fight will be fought mostly on the ground. I do expect John to score some points on his feet before it hits the mat. And I think that that will ultimately prove to be the difference. John by Decision.

Predictions

Jay: Jackson by Submission at 4:18 of round 3.

Ray: John by Decision

Ray: Alright, we start off the main card with a welterweight match up between the former champ Akito "Devil" Toyotoku and his opponent, Carlos "Miho" Jaso. Although, I think Toyotoku should have retired when he lost his belt, I think he's gonna take this one. It may be the last win of his career but he'll take this one easy. Jaso has no grappling skills. Toyotoku by submission in round one.

Jay: Well I agree that Jaso has no grappling skill and is in over his head. But, I don't agree that Toyotoku should have retired. I think he still has a future in the UPF, just not as the champion. (Laughs) But, he will see victory against "Miho". Toyotoku by RNC submission in the first.

Predictions

Ray: Toyotoku by Submission at 1:59 of round 1.

Jay: Toyotoku by Submission (RNC) at 3:29 of round 1.

Jay: Next fight on the card is a battle of little guys. Banthamweight fighters "The Treasure Hunter" Henry Thiago and Andries Habel will battle it out for three rounds. Or, at least attempt to. But this one won't last all three rounds. Thiago has been knocked out in the first round three time. But, he also has 7 submission victories. If Thiago gets the takedown, Habel will be tapping like a madman. But, if it stays standing then Thiago eyes will be rolling into the back of his head, as he goes to sleep. But, Thiago gets the takedown. Round 2.

Ray: Thiago has great potential. And I can really see him making a mark for himself. But, in order to get anywhere, I'm afraid he is gonna have to find himself a new manager. Someone who actually knows what they are doing. (Laughs) just kidding Jamie, actually I was just trying to give an alliance mate a hard time. Actually, I think Thiago will dominate this fight in all categories. Habel is a well balanced fighter but I don't think he has the takedown defense and grappling to deal with Thiago. Thiago by sub round 2.

Predictions

Jay: Thiago by Submission at 3:41 of round 2.

Ray: Thiago by Submission at 1:41 of round 2.

Ray: This next fight is your classic stand up vs grappler match up. "Bate Pepo" Peter Angelov and Lvn "Gangsta" LN go toe to toe in the welterweight division. I expect "Gangsta" to be giving it his all trying to get it to the mat. The question is, how much damage will "Bate Pepo" do while "Gangsta" is trying to get the takedown? And I think he is going to do so much damage that he'll put Gangsta to sleep. Angelov by KO, round 1.

Jay: You seem pretty confident. But, I figured you would be on "Gangsta" side being an ex-wrestler yourself. But, I guess I was wrong. (Laughs) I, on the other hand, think this fight will last longer then the first. Things are going to go just as you say except Angelov won't get the KO in the first, and in the second LN will score the takedown and take that round. Then the third round will be much like the second. Lvn LN by split decision.

Predictions

Ray: Angelov by KO at 4:20 of round 1.

Jay: LN by Decision (Split)

Jay: The final fight before the main events pits the former light-heavyweight champion Beach Bum and a up and comer in Joe Quinn. In their last fight, both of these two fought against Phil High and lost. Bum lost his belt to High, then Quinn lost his title shot as well. Now they square off to see who gets their title shot next. I feel if this fight had happened while Bum was champion we would be seeing a new champion. Bum has great grappling skills and decent wrestling. But, Quinn also has decent wrestling but lacks in the grappling. But, what he lacks in the ground game he more than makes up for with his stand up. Quinn by KO, round 2.

Ray: You know, you're not right very often. But, once in a while you nail it, like you did this one. Quinn by KO in the second round.

Predictions

Jay: Quinn by KO at 0:05 of round 2.

Ray: Quinn by KO at 2:11 of round 2.

Ray: Our first main event of the evening see two lightweight fighters vying for the belt. The champ Sprint "Flash" Asap put his belt on the line against Michal "The rebel without a clue" Korek. The challenger comes into this fight riding high on a five fight win streak and hold the edge in the stand up. The champ is undefeated with 4 victories and holds the edge in the ground game. I'm not sure the champ is up to this fight, to be honest with you. He's got that youthful cockiness and confidence but I don't think that's gonna be enough for this fight. I see the elder challenger sending the champ back to school. Korek by KO in round 1.

Jay: This is gonna be a good fight. Don't worry folks it won't be over in the first round. But, I do think that the youthfulness of the champ will hurt Him, I think he will try to stand and bang with Korek which will prove fatal.

Predictions

Ray: Korek and new champion by KO at 0:28 of round 1.

Jay: Korek and new champion by KO at 2:23 of round 2.

Jay: In the final fight, the main event on the card, our heavyweight champion of the world, Kenton "KO" Okunaba will put the crown up for grabs in a battle with challenger, Pavlo "Krusher" Ramazanov. And this will not be their first time around either. Kenton's first UPF bout was against Ramazanov. Kenton finished him in the first round, then went on to win three more first round KO's. After losing to Kenton, Pavlo put together a couple of wins and wants revenge. Pavlo is an excellent fighter. He has the power to put Kenton down. But, much like the first fight, I just don't see Pavlo with his arm raised when the announcer claim the winner.

Ray: This is going to be an incredible fight. Both of these fighters have fantastic power and are capable of putting anyone away with one shot. In their first match up Okunaba basically had his way with Ramazanov and got the TKO in the first round. I think Pavlo learned a lesson that first fight. So I'm gonna have to disagree with you there Jay. My prediction is that Pavlo is going to stay away from the clinch and score a first round KO.

Predictions

Jay: Okunaba by KO at 3:45 of round 1.

Ray: Ramazanov by KO at 1:01 of round 1.
