Editorial by Grumpy Bastard

Stomp-a-thon 10        6 May 2015        Review by Rabid Alien (102643)

The Romper Room Butt-Stompers has once again shown why its events are becoming the Saturday night "place to be" here in Las Vegas with an incredible show at the The Underground this May 6th.  This exciting event had 9 matchups resulting in 7 knockouts and 2 decisions (1 was a split decision) for the viewing pleasure of the MMA fans who flocked to see it.  This review will hopefully visualize for the fans who missed it....just what a great evening they missed out on.  If my verbs fail u can get the straight poop at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventmanager.php?EvID=836030 .  This event was sponsored by Vikai Gear (4457) based at Hilo Hawaii.

265 lbs fight between Max Jackson (265143) and Alkazzar "The Anaconda" Aroman (260650)
Aroman is a BJJ fighter and Jackson is boxer with some wrestling skills.  Ding Ding !  As would be expected Aroman wanted to go to the ground and he tried, tried and tried, 6 times stuffed and during that time Jackson who has excellent takedown defense was throwing strikes and landing most of them.  Aroman took a vicious body shot and combined with his 6 takedowns being stuffed he was winded and Jackson took advantage of that and smashes Aroman with a combination and Aroman is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Jackson lands a final crushing right hand to drop him to the mat.  GAME OVER !  Nicely done Jackson!
Results:    After 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Max Jackson!

185 lbs fight between Alexander "Tiger" Sarnavskiy (269413) and Kuyt "The Irish Masterpiece" Serton (271520)
Sarnavskiy is a boxer working on his ground skills, and Serton is a street style fighter who seems to prefer BJJ skills?  Ding Ding !  Sarnavskiy is difficult enough to say with all my teeth...but I bet its even tougher for Serton who was busy eating fists from Sarnavskiy for the few seconds the fight lasted.
Results:    After 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Alexander Sarnavskiy!

205 lbs fight between Antoniusz Amaro (263051) and Lenny "Armpit" Alfredo (261110)
Amaro is a well rounded fighter with serious ground skills, and Alfredo is a boxer/Bjj fighter.  Ding Ding !  Both fighters come out swinging and its not long before Amaro gets a takedown and is throwing SERIOUS GnP and even mixing in some submission attempts.  Its only a matter of time when someone is on top of you and landing EVERY strike that u end up eating more than you can chew, and thats exactly what happened when Alfredo took an elbow to the side of the head and is rocked.  And as you would expect, Amaro happily continues to serve Alfredo more elbows until the referee stops it.  Nice work Amaro!
Results:    After 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Antoniusz Amaro!

185 lbs fight between Alejandro Jodorowsky (262215) and Chopper "Boom Boom" Doom (260545)
Doom is a street style fighter whose primary strength is in boxing and Jodorowsky is a standup fighter working on his wrestling skills.  Ding Ding !  Doom comes out swinging and Jodorowsky is wanting to clinch.  Speaking of clinch...thats pretty much the story of this fight...Doom did OK in the standing but Jodorowsky insisted on the clinch war and was just beating the dog-snot out of Doom in the clinch.  So it was an easy call for the judges...
Results:    All 3 judges see the fight the same at 30:27  in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Alejandro Jodorowsky!

170 lbs fight between "Sugar" Shane Kavanagh (270877) Loki Xeon (269422)
Kavanagh is a Muay Thai/BJJ fighter, and Xeon is a boxer/BJJ fighter.  Ding Ding !  It was all Kavanagh as he was on Xeon like stink on shit.  Like a swarm of bees Kavanagh was coming from all directions and Xeon had no reply.  Even after getting 2 takedowns, Xeon had no game as they say.  And with Kavanagh landing damn near everything he threw the inevitable happened 3 1/2 minutes into the fight, when Kavanagh connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Xeon out cold!  BAM !  Game over !  That was simply a nasty ass whuppin, no question about it.
Results:    After 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Kavanagh!

185 lbs fight between Patrick "Over Hand Right" O Riley (260484) and Winston "Biggy" Graham (260618)
O Riley is a boxer/wrestler and Graham is a ground fighter.  Graham as expected was after the takedown and he got it 5 of the 14 tries he made.  And on the ground he was NOT messing around and was throwing plenty of GnP and mixing in submission attempts...but was unable to put O Riley away.  O Riley on the other hand was dominant on the feet and was heavily throwing combinations.
Results:    The 3 judges see the fight differently at 29:28/28:29/29:28  in favor of your winner, by split decision... Patrick O Riley!

185 lbs fight between First Fist (265486)  and Jake "The Snake" Roberts (264263)
Fist and Roberts are both boxers.  Ding Ding !  Roberts comes out swinging and Fist grabs a clinch and starts throwing strikes.  Fist lands a nice uppercut and with Roberts rocked, Fist takes advantage and lands another uppercut that sends Roberts's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Roberts drops to his knees and Fist pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Results:    After 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). First Fist!

170 lbs fight between Jim "Paddy" McKinnon (265306) and Tom "Granite" Mason (264303)
McKinnon is a well rounded street style fighter and Mason is boxer.  Ding Ding !   They both came out with serious war on their minds and both throwing strikes, but it was Mason who was dominant until McKinnon got a takedown and started whuppin that ass good.  Mason was rocked by an elbow and McKinnon followed that up with some head shots that had the referee stopping the fight.  Nice turn-around McKinnon !
Results:    After 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jim McKinnon!  McKinnon was awarded "KO of the Night".

205 lbs fight between Sixth Fist (267601) and Yuji Kajima (266450)
Fist and Kajima are both boxers.  Ding Ding !   Fist comes out swinging, but Kajima lands first with a counter right hand to Fist's jaw.  Kajima is surprising Fist with his kicking and although its one hellofa battle, Kajima is out-scoring Fist when Fist cuts him with an uppercut that bounces Kajima off the cage.   They continue to battle like two Gods of war and Kajima is knocked down by a left-right combination.  Fist waves him to his feet and seeing Kajima is rocked, he goes for the finish.  But Fist is missing and it takes almost a minute to connect and Kajima is knocked down again.  Again Fist allows Kajima to stand and then goes after him and its not long when BAM! Fist delivers a spinning backfist that drops Kajima like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Results:    After 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Sixth Fist!
