FV#18 Main Event for the 185 Middleweight Title Fight

Abel “Amazin” Speed (23-8-1) vs Jase Robertson (Champion - 22-8-0)

Before this fight, we here at Championship Press Association said this fight was possibly one of the biggest the company had put on its cards and had the potential to be one of the most entertaining; with Speed and Robertson being undefeated this far in their Forbidden Violence careers. The fight did not disappoint the fans at all as these two men well and truly left it all on the line and took each other from pillar to post. As these two men walked to the cage the atmosphere was truly electric with both men receiving standing ovations – the taller slightly heavier Robertson would be looking to capitalize on reach while Speed would want to use just what his name said to take the title.

Once the introductions were done, it was on and the fans could tell they were in for Fight of the Night (which the fight later received) from the get go. Speed opened strongly going straight for a strike from the offset and getting in some solid combinations but it wasn’t long before Robertson was returning the favour. Speed began to take some control early on continuing to land combinations but not being quiet able to find that heavy shot to cause some real impact damage. Out of the blue it came, just as Robertson was on the defensive he landed a solid combination of shots off the counter cutting Speed before Speed was able to land a jab to hold him back. With his head opened up it was Speeds turn to play on the defence, with Robertson looking like a shark chasing the scent of Speeds Blood before it was Speeds turn to land a couple of solid counters knocking Robertson down and Speed followed in with a couple of shots but Robertson recovered. Neither fighter was able to make much of the ground but when both returned to their feet after the referee gave them the stand-up, they gave the fans something to think about as the round came to an end. With seconds of the round left Speed got one last huge hit in knocking Robertson to the ground again but he was saved by the bell and both fighters returned to their corner.

Other than the early cut and control Robertson had not performed like the champion he was while Speed had lived up to his nickname and been “Amazin” for the majority of the round, just unable to produce the finish. Off the restart this changed, with Robertson coming out fired up but Speed remained cool headed countering a wild head kick with a solid jab sending Robertson to the mat – Speed followed in with more conviction this time and the fans new it before the ref could stop it, THIS WAS ALL OVER! Speed had forced the official to call a TKO stoppage (strikes) to take the Middleweight title and become what he has really deserved since joining Forbidden Violence. Is there anybody in this weight class that can match the speed and power of this man, Abel “Amazin” Speed!
