Light Heavyweight Championship

(Champ) Landon Austin vs. (3.) Musial Stanson

Ultra impressive, undefeated DFC LHW champion Landon "The Prince of Punch" Austin  is defending his belt for the 4th time this saturday. Austin has been crushing his opponents one by one and he is the current P4P king in DFC. Austin is coming from 1st round TKO victory against Aatish Sunuwar. Austin is huge favourite going to this bout. The champ is 20cm taller than the challenger so on the feet the champ will have big reach advantage. The champion didn't want to comment on his up coming bout.

Musial Stanson will have so far his biggest opportunity of his career, but also the toughest fight of his career when he gets his chance to claim the 205lbs belt. Stanson earned his spot as a title contender after going 3-0 in DFC. The 21 year old zambian is coming from unanimous decision victory against Ragnar SvenSoleson.  The title shot was offered to Keiichi Yamada first, but he turned down the fight. After that Stanson got a call from DFC president Wessel Error who offered him this title shot and Stanson took it right away without hesitation. Stanson is remarkable boxer and wrestler but the champion is very strong in those aspects of the game also, so it will be interesting to see what kind of gameplan Stanson will have.

Stanson had a lot to say in pre-fight press confrence:

The first principle of contract negotiations is don't remind them of what you did in the past - tell them what you're going to do in the future. So I won't tell you about what I or my opponent has done in the past. We'll look forward, toward the fight. I've studied. Studied hard. I've got an unbeaten opponent, look like I'm going to eat some fist today.

I consciously memorized the speed at which every fighter in the org throws his punches, then, I'd pick up the speed of the fist in the first moments of its flight and knew how it would hurt once I got hit.

I know my limits and know when to hold in there and when to run.

Let's hop I'm holding in there and not running - And that my studying was all worth it. Odds are good that it wasn't but, I'm sure going to try to give a bruise for every one I take.

Heavyweight

(2.) Coconut Sprinkles vs. (7.) Felippe Francisco

The former heavyweight champion Coconut Sprinkles returns to DFC cage in saturday after losing the belt to Vincent Mars and he couldn't reclaim the title in rematch. In Destiny 47 he will try to start new journey towards the belt and the first obstacle will be DFC veteran Felippe Francisco. Sprinkles defended the belt against Francisco in Destiny 29, so they have experience against eachothers. Sprinkles probably wants to get this fight to the ground because he is has bigger advantage in there even tho Francisco is remarkable wrestler also but only white belt BJJ.

Felippe "O Grande" Francisco is coming of two loses against Nasimentu and Hollow, but he has huge chance to shoot himself right back to top if he can get past the former champion. Saturday's fight will be Francisco's 12th fight under DFC banner , so he is true DFC veteran with record 7-4 inside the organization. Francisco is big underdog going to this fight , but with his remarkable muay thai and wrestling everything is possible.

Wessel Error talked about this fight with media members in pre-fight press confrence:

"I'm really excited about this fight, I'm looking forward to see how Coconut will rebound from his tough losses, but Francisco is no joke and he really has nothing to lose in this fight so that always makes guys very dangerous."
