Fight For The Prize 4 Preview

Event Preview: BEEF: Fight For The Prize 3
Bodies Engaged In Extreme Fighting [BEEF]
2014-04-06, Montreal, Hayashi's Lounge - Montreal
Author:King Scooby

We are back and ready for action here at BEEF where we are anticipating the Third installment of Our Fight For The Prize contests where BEEF managers can earn themselves a quick $12K by submitting the sexiest photo of a female fighter or woman in a sexy, fight-sports based situation. Please make your submissions swiftly before the next FFTP event.

Our event on Sunday April 6th will be nothing short of fun as two men will get to remove their titles off of the woman's body on the event poster. Unfortunately for those two winners but they will not be able to have their way with her, but you get the point.

Organization Debuts:

Lucas Bane (10-2) vs Rocky McColgan

Dan Maverick (6-4) vs Six O Five

Royce Gracieb (4-0) vs Tex Dallas in our 25YO Build Division

Dale McCann (5-3) vs Karelin Roman

Fight to watch for:

As BEEF has finally launched its 25YO Build Division and is slowly recruiting more fighters to compete in the division, The undefeated Royce Gracieb of Ramza Beoulve's Fight Team will have his wits and skill tested as he will meet a foe of similar talents Sunday. Tex Dallas had his debut end in a loss swiftly at the hands of Sean Crews, literally. Armbar's are not Dallas's friend and for this fight I think it will pleasure him to know that he most likely will not spend much time grappling on the ground in this fight. Coming from Ramza's fairly new yet impressive stable, named after a young Squire from Final Fantasy Tactics, Royce Gracieb will look to show off his fight tactics in a not QFC fight where both fighters have time to prepare for each other. These two young fighters under young managers should provide us an exciting bout.

Showcase Fight:

Claude The Tank LeBlanc (1-0 Age:19) will get his opportunity to prove to Pawel Ufcowski, BEEF and himself that he deserves to stay in the stable, the org and continue to grow in his MMA career. His only fight was a win by a KO which is always a good feeling, but when you do it within the first 10 seconds of a fight you just feel phenomenal. He told me that he felt so good he wanted to fight again on the same card but Pete Pettis was not in attendance. We were not able to learn much about The Tank from that fight but the one thing we did learn for sure is that he has plenty of Knockout power. Look to see what other skills this guy reveals to himself and the MMA world Sunday.

Title Bouts:

Archie Archer (5-2) no doubt has a heavy attraction for partially clothed women as he has fought on all of BEEF's Fight For The Prize events and leading up to this one and has won both. Archer was one of BEEF's fighter of the month award winners last month and claimed his title belt from the hands of Nelly Haynes by nearly keeping the fight standing and in the clinch, pummeling his foe for the entire bout winning every round. His fight with Tang Lung will be intriguing because Lung is an absolutely impressive Brazilian Jiu Jitsu artist with the wrestling skills to get the fight to the ground and use it. Likewise he is a very competitive standup fighter which will probably prove for a tough title fight since coming off of his non-defense loss against Joe Risley. Iron Tang Lung won 4 fights in a row and 3 by knockout to prove that he deserves a title shot and has very well earned one. This fight has FOTN written all over it. Hopefully it does not disappoint.

As mentioned earlier, Lucas Bane (10-2) will square off with the undefeated Heavyweight champion of BEEF, Rocky McColgan (7-0). Lucas is making his BEEF debut so while we want to welcome him and all of the other debut fighters in a nice way, Rocky will not welcome him as nicely. Bane is on a three fight win streak mainly because he is extremely efficient with his strikes in the cage. His defeat of Jeremy Stapleton in front of no crowd and as the only fight on the card was not as fulfilling as he desired. Bane will look to take some of that frustration out against McColgan who has proven to us at BEEF that he has it all. Great management, fight preparation, Elite Boxing skills and the KO power of a heavyweight champion. We have known “Cocky” Rocky to knock ALL of his opponents out with either hand at any moment, but in his last title fight against Sterling Slater, he showed us something we have never seen from him before, a submission finish. I could not imagine anything scarier than the biggest and best boxer in this organization to go into a fight and tap his opponent out in the first round. That fight damaged Slater's emotions so bad that his manager, Rory, immediately pulled Slater out of BEEF and had him run off to Las Angeles for safety. Interesting to see if McColgan will pull this one out as well or if we will have a new title holder.

It all goes down Sunday in Montreal, to all fighters and managers, good luck & please submit those pictures if you want a shot at $12K. TO ALL ENJOY!
