 Welcome to Honor Wednesday Warfare VIII. We have two bookies lined up for this event so plenty of odds are there for you. We have Evil Banking and Bets as well as one of my good friends who owns Barbarian Betting. Meet the Future is lined up to be out merchandise partner for a while so you will continue to see their booths in and around the arena.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Dalton "Black Killer" Ismith (1-1) {1-0} versus John "Drav" Dravinski (1-3) {0-2}

This is an interesting matchup as these fighters very similar. I think Ismith is slightly more talented than Dravinski but not so much more that he will have a big advantage in this fight. Where I think he will have an advantage is in the fact John is on a three fight losing streak and his confidence has been shot. I think that will be the deciding factor and I a m picking Ismith to win the fight by TKO in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Alex "Almighty" Irwin (2-2) {1-2} versus Tommy "The Marine" Riordan (0-0) {0-0}

Irwin is one and two in HFC and he needs a spark to get him on the winning track. Irwin will have the advantage in the stand up and he should look to keep the fight away from the ground or the clinch. If he can he should be able to pick apart Riordan but not just completely blow him away. These guys are almost even in the standup Irwin is slightly better. Riordan will want to get this fight to the ground any way he can. He has the better Jiu Jitsu and the better wrestling so it would be his ideal spot for this fight. I don’t think Riordan will get the fight to the ground so I am picking Irwin to win by TKO in the third round.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Bantamweight Fight (135lbs)

Johnny "Brutal" Bedford (15-12) {1-1} versus Steve "Cobra" Cox (3-0-1) {3-0-1}

This is a great opertiniuty for Cox. Cox is the younger of the two fighters but I think he is the much more skilled fighter. Currently Cox has yet to suffer a loss with a record of three wins zero losses and one draw and he has a great chance to get his fourth win. Bedford only has a wrestling game which makes me surprised by his fifth teen and twelve record. Regardless if he tries to wrestle with Cox or not I just don’t see how he could win this fight. I got Cox wining this fight by decision.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Felix "The KING" Cruz (3-5) {0-1} versus "Dangerous" Phillip Finnegan (2-2) {2-1}

Cruz is three and five and he has yet to win a fight in HFC. He will need to get this fight to the ground in order to have a chance to get a big win. He is a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and he will dominate if the fight ends up on the map. Finnegan was o and two and he has won his last two fights. He will be looking to continue that streak by keeping this fight standing. He will be able to work in and out of the clinch and really mix up his strikes as long as he can take away the take down attempts. I think Finnegan continues his winning ways with a first round TKO.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

Flash "Light" Gordon (2-2) {1-0} versus Dallas "Haneous" Riley (29-22) {3-1}

This will no doubt be the biggest challenge for Gordon to date. He has four fights and his opponent has fifty one fights under his belt. Even though Gordon has a lot less experience than Riley I still think he will be the better stand up fighter. As long as Gordon can keep the fight standing I don’t think Riley would have a chance at winning this fight. Riley will need to get Gordon on the mat and submit him to get the victory. Eventfully this fight will go to the ground and Riley will win by submission and I am calling it to happen in the third round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Reginald Leslie (4-3) {2-2} versus Investitor "Cujo" Gradnje (6-1) {4-1}

This could become a mugging. Their skills are on par with each other but Gradnje has a much better record. It would seem that Investitor puts together better game plans for his opponents and I think he will do much of the same in this fight. He is a clear rising star at Light Heavyweight and I have him winning this fight by submission in the second round. Leslie is very skilled though so I could see him dragging this out to a decision but I would still think Investitor would be the winner in that case.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

Rickson Bravo (5-5) {0-1} versus Bjorn "Borg" Johanson (5-3) {0-1}

This fight should tell us which one of these guys will still be competing on the main cards and which one will not. Both of them lost their debuting fights in Honor Fighting Championship and they both struggled in their fights. Bravo was knocked out in the second round while Bjorn was beat by TKO in the late first round. Bravo will try to get the fight to the ground since he has an advantage there but I don’t think his chin will last long enough to get there. I am picking Johanson to win this fight by TKO in the first round.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Bantamweight Title Fight (135lbs)

Ethan "Captain Insaneo" Harris (9-2-1) {4-0-0} versus Austin "Hollywood" Worner (18-18) {2-2}

Ethan has been on a roll winning all four of his fights in HFC. He is currently on a six fight winning streak and he will be looking to keep that going while successfully defending his title. He is a tremendous boxer and six of his nine wins have come by TKO so he will be looking to stay off the mat in this one. Worner is currently two and two in HFC and this will be his first HFC title fight. He should have a slight advantage on the ground but I don’t think he will be able to get the champ to the ground. When you look at this matchup it is a little one sided for the champ event though Worner has been around longer and he is the more experienced fighter. I would be shocked if Worner won this fight, but stranger things have happened. I am picking Harris to win this fight by TKO in the second round.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

"THE KING" Oliver Queen (18-14) {1-1} versus Todd Flanders (16-10-1) {1-0}

This fight and the main event could be open auditions to see who will fight for the Featherweight title if we don’t get things sorted out. I will not elaborate on that any further until we find out exactly what is going to happen. This should be a great fight as we have to experienced fighters going toe to toe. If you break it down I think Flanders is the more talented fighter when it comes to pure skill set. He takes fights on longer notices than most other fighters of his age. With that being said there are intangibles or things that cannot be measured. Queen has most of his wins by TKO while Flanders has lost nine fights out of the ten he lost by TKO. For that reason I am picking Queen to win by TKO in the second round.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

"The Assassin Reborn" Darwin France (20-6) {0-1} versus "Muharebe Tankı" Murat Orgun (19-13) {0-1}

This is most certainly worth a main event spot and this should be a great fight. These two both lost their debut fight in HFC and they will want redemption. France will be the much stronger fighter on the ground and he should be able to dominate the fight if it reaches the mat. Orgun is slightly better in the standup but he needs to be worried about the take down so much I am not sure he will be able take advantage while the two are on their feet. I think this fight will be a struggle for the both of them but I think in the end France gets the fight to the ground and ultimately wins by submission in the second round.

This is about to go down in a few hours so make sure you get your bets down. Thanks one more time to Evil Banking and Betting as well as Barbarian Betting for hosting the odds for this event.
