 Welcome to Honor FC 8 Unbreakable live from The Palmtree in Las Vegas Nevada. We will be featuring all six of our weight classes on this event and we have three, that’s right I said three bookmakers hosting odds. So when you go to make your bets shop around and find the best odds to maximize your winnings. Meet the Future is still doing or merchandise at HFC events so they will be there in full force.

Preliminary Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

"Spiderman" Peter Season (1-1) {0-1} versus Derec "The Smile" Negreanu (1-2-1) {1-2-0}

Season is coming off his debuting fight in which he lost by decision to Andrew Todd. Season will have to change up his strategy for this fight as he will not have a chance if this thing stays standing. He will have a slight advantage on the ground so he needs to work this fight to the ground as soon as he can. Negreanu is trying to solidify that he has turned his career around. He started off with a draw and then signed to Honor Fighting Championship. After signing the contract he lost his first two fights, but he just got a big win in his last outing. Negreanu will need to turn this into a boxing match, and if he does it will earn him his second win. I am going to pick Negreanu to win this fight by TKO in the second round.

Preliminary Bout Number 2- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

Oscralo "Granalo" De Santiuya (6-4) {3-2} versus Marek Contofalsky (2-5) {0-1}

Oscralo got on a bit of a winning streak when he showed up in HFC. He was closing in on a shot at the title before dropping two fights in a row. In his last fight he got back to his winning ways but he has already dropped to preliminary bout status. He is going to need to string together a few wins to get anywhere close to main event status. Marek has had a very rough career so far. He is o and one in HFC and two and five in his professional career. Some guys have and some don’t and it would seem that Marek is just one of those guys who don’t have it. I think on paper Marek is a much better fighter but when it comes down to it he just does not have that killer instinct. That’s the reason I am picking De Santiuya to win by unanimous decision after winning the last two rounds of the fight.

Preliminary Bout Number 3- Lightweight Fight (155lbs)

Junior "PittBull" Flores (3-1) {2-1} versus Darek "The Polish Prodigy" Walczak (1-1) {1-1}

There first fight was an amazing bout. Flores got the win but it was very exciting and action packed. These two brawled for a long time just throwing anything and everything at each other. Flores completely dominated the second round but it was still very exciting to watch. I would assume these two will stand in the center of the cage and throw bombs one or two times throughout this fight. I have to pick Flores to win this fight since he won the last one, and I am going with the same prediction as the finish from their first fight. So I have a second round TKO victory for Junior Flores.

Preliminary Bout Number 4- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

Homer Jaysimpson (5-4) {1-0} versus Dmitry Belov (12-4) {2-1}

Homer is a wrestler who loves to point grapple and he will mix in just enough strikes to keep the fight on the ground. He has won by TKO but he would prefer to point out the win and get back to training. He is on a very strict training program and he does not fight often because of it. Belov will live and die by the punch. He is twelve and four with fourteen of the sixteen fights ending by TKO or knockout. Out of those fourteen TKO eleven of them where in favor of Dmitry. I think Homer is the more skilled fighter, but with the experience level of Belov and the great striking I am picking him to win by TKO in the third round.

Preliminary Bout Number 5- Welterweight Fight (170lbs)

"The Impaler" Vladimir Ignatov (4-2-1) {0-0-0} versus "Cold Storm" Markus Vinicius (12-13) {1-1}

The Impaler is a very gifted striker who has four wins with three of them coming by TKO or knockout. His only other win was a decision but don’t let the record fool you he does have a ground game. He should look to stand and strike so he can show off his skill but if there is any danger I think he should drop down and look for a takedown. Cold Storm is a journeyman with twenty five fights under his belt. He holds a twelve and thirteen record with his record in HFC is one and one. He will be looking to strike with The Impaler but I think that is a horrible idea. I am picking Vladimir Ignatov to win this fight by TKO in the second round.

Main Card Bout Number 1- Light Heavyweight Fight (205lbs)

Khru "Big Buddah" Maokhamphiou (5-1-1) {1-1-1} versus Al "KO" Hallick (3-0) {3-0}

Khru is twenty six years old and he holds a record of five one and one. Since coming to HFC he has fought for the Light Heavyweight Championship twice with the first fight ending in a draw and he lost in the second fight. After those two fights he got his first HFC win and he will be looking to get a streak going to get near that title again. Hallick could be in some trouble as he is only eighteen years old at this point. He will be out skilled but his natural knockout power could make the difference. He has had three fights and all of them have been in HFC, and all three of them where wins by knockout. He has a deadly head kick and he loves to throw it. This will be a great fight and I am going to pick the birthday boy to win via head kick knockout in the second round. Hallick gets a win on Saturday and then on Monday turns nineteen.

Main Card Bout Number 2- Middleweight Title Fight (185lbs)

"The Wasp" Wayde West (3-0) {3-0} versus Donovan "Ronin" Robertson (6-1) {3-1}

West is three and o and all of his fights have taken place in HFC. In his last fight he became the first ever Middleweight Champion HFC by defeating the same man he faces toning Donovan Robertson. Robertson is six and one and his only loss came at the hands of West. He was TKO’ed in the first round of their previous fight. Their fight went down recently so I don’t see any reason why we would not have the same result so I am picking West to win this fight in the first round by TKO.

Main Card Bout Number 3- Featherweight Fight (135lbs)

Takeshi Watanabe (7-5) {0-1} versus bj "Boogieman" Ferguson (29-16) {1-1}

This fight should be a one sided beat down. Watanabe has looked good against great fighters while Ferguson has barley fought any top end talent. Watanabe’s record does not reflect his skills as a fighter and his opponents certainly speak to that. I assume this fight will be quick and very painful for Ferguson. I am going to pick the twenty seven year old Japanese Muay Thai striker to win this fight by knockout in the first round.

Co Main Event Main Card Bout Number 4- Featherweight Fight (145lbs)

"Pretty Pete" Peter Parker (24-11) {1-0} versus Roy "The Wardog" Pitbull (21-12-1) {1-0}

This should be a real interesting fight. Everyone would say you have to pick the guy who is on a four fight win streak and on paper is the better fighter. He has more experience, more wins, and a better winning percentage. The thing is Pitbull has never been finished. Now Parker will take fights to the final bell, but I am not sure that his chin would allow him to go three rounds with Pitbull. This fight seems easy to figure out if all goes to plan. Round one is a close fight with a lot of stand up. Round two is just as close but Parker ends up getting knocked out late in the round. Pitbull wins by knockout in the second round.

Main Event Main Card Bout Number 5- Middleweight Fight (185lbs)

"The Bay Harbour Butcher" Dexter Morgan (11-5) {1-0} versus Mohamed al Hadj (22-13) {1-0}

Morgan is an impressive fighter and if he can secure another win he could be in line for a title shot very soon. The question is can he win this fight. He is a great striker but he is over matched in the stand up, so he will be forced to take this fight to the ground. On the ground he is pretty even and he will need to mix his ground and pound correctly so he does not get swept. Hadj is a journeymen fighter with thirty five fights behind him. He will have a huge advantage in the standup so he should try and keep the fight there. Hadj lacks finishing power and he has zero wins by submission and that might be his downfall in this fight. Hadj will not be able to last long enough for this fight to go to the final bell. I am picking Morgan to win this fight by submission in the third.

Tons of great fights to look forward to. This card is action packed from the first preliminary bout. I am really looking forward to the title fight as well as getting to see Al Hallic in action again. I will see all of you at the fights.
