I nearly cursed repeatedly when I saw the event poster for Heavyweight Prize fighting's Sunday event, everlast mma gloves have NEVER looked better! Before I get sidetracked on how hot our event poster is I would love to inform you of the MAJOR event of the year thus far for HWP. Loaded like nachos from Taco Bell, HWP has given us two title bouts in one night!

The first title bout:

Madison Grant vs The New York Dumbass

268lbs 195cm (14-8) – 273lbs 187cm (12-2-1)

Neither fighter will bring a title into this fight but one will leave as HWP's best Superheavyweight, which is a big deal in an organization that only has heavyweight divisions.

Madison Grant has tried to defeat Cedric Mabuva repeatedly and has been seated firmly on his backside in a KO loss both times leading up to this fight. Before Grant ran into that brick wall he has been very impressive thus far in his career, but I am unsure that impressive will be enough to stop The New York Dumbass. The Dumbass has been far more impressive only losing two fights, both also to Mabuva. If Grant can get this fight to the ground it will be a troublesome night for The Dumbass, likewise if he can get his fists on Grant's face KO of the night honors might follow. With Cedric Mabuva ringside picking on both of these fighters it will be interesting to see who will walk away a champion.

Bert Kreischer vs Onizuka Stresemann

265lbs 195cm (8-2) – 224lbs 183cm (15-7)

The Machine Bert Kreischer has always been an exceptional ground fighter while trying to slowly become a better striker. The Great Teacher Onizuka will be the one delivering a lesson here Sunday though. Onizuka is a high-end level KT fighter that has the abilities to keep the fight standing rather than ending up on the ground, he also has very adamant Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to defend himself from his foes if the fight gets there. While Kreischer has won 6 fights by submission, Stresemann has NEVER taken a loss in that manner. This is a prime opportunity for both fighter to prove their skill levels to the organization and get closer to the title bout I just mentioned earlier so both fighters definitely want it, unfortunately I think there is one clear advantage in this one and its tilting to Stresemann's side.

Gigant Silva vs Geodude Golem

265lbs 225cm (18-11) – 203lbs 191cm (35-11)

I have frequently leaned toward the side of Geodude Golem and his expertise in causing destruction while standing up. He started to struggle with competition and dropped fights to Kent Phillips and Alex James before turning things around against Fred Sanford. Gigant Silva knows all about Golem's standup game which is why he will most likely come out shooting for takedowns like a rifleman. Although Silva has an astronomical height advantage and 60lbs over his smaller foe, I still do not think he will like to keep the fight standing as Golem has exceptional kicking skills that could turn one of his knees into a heavy bag costing him the fight in the later rounds. Silva is coming off of a strong win over Asshole Gracie as he regained his confidence which was stripped from him by Hulk Hogan. I predict Silva will get an upper hand here on the ground but if he doesnt get a finish it could be trouble.

Bob Baramari vs Jeremy Johnson

285lbs 210cm (42-32) – 256lbs 190cm (21-8)

Our main event and Heavyweight title bout has all the makings of a war, Baramari with both height and weight advantages will look to outstrike his opponent straight up to take the belt. While he is coming off of possibly the hardest loss of his career against Kent Phillips by being knocked out after just 41 seconds he will try to get that thought out of his mind going in against JJ. Good thing for him is it happened so fast and so hard he probably doesnt remember it. Jeremy Johnson on the other hand has held the belt for all but one of his last 8 fights and has only lost one of his last 10. His dominance in HWP is astounding finding himself ranked among the top Heavyweights in the world, will there be a superfight headed his way soon? We just might find out, but until then I think he dominates Baramari here and continues his reign here in HWP.

Thank you all for joining us for another weekend of war in Las Vegas as HWP closes out this financially taxing weekend. We would like to thank all of our matchmakers for putting this party together as well as HWP for funding all of it. Good luck to all of the managers and fighters in participation and TO ALL ENJOY!
