[01] [LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT – MIYAKE MORIMASA VS. DAVID CROSS]

By the time we had reached the main event everybody was in anticipation to see how the yet again smaller Cross would fight this fight.

As the first round started Cross was out like a flash, throwing a front kick that seemed to have Morimasa stumbling back into the cage for some footing. The American Dream failed to capture an early take down which was responded to with a nice combination thrown from the younger fighter. By this point Cross had already seemed to have relaxed a lot which was shown by him landing a nice inside leg kick, and following it up with a stiff body shot which even the crowd seemed to feel. Morimasa seemed to try and take the fight to the clinch, but he was no match for Cross who seemed to have the upper hand here. Cross kept on setting the pace and controlling the fight, one the round had hit the 03:00 mark the fight was going more and more in The American Dreams favor.

A cut suddenly opened up on Morimasa once Cross landed a standing elbow which came in from the right angle to open up the cut. By this point you could visibly tell that Morimasa was starting to gas and he was slowing down. Cross being very experience picked up on this fact and started to turn up the pace. Eventually this payed off and with a nice right hand to the temple of Morimasa he was sent back into the cage and rocked!

Cross jumped onto him like a rash and wouldn't let up until Morimasa had dropped to the floor and the referee had stopped this fight which he did.

Cross ought to be very proud of the win, he came out and absolutely outclassed and outstriked Morimasa.

[02] [WELTERWEIGHT – FREDERIC LAURENT VS. EDDIE O HARE]
The co-main event was being lead by the more experienced Laurent and the Young but explosive O Hare. The action was awoken straight away in the first second of round one when Laurent stormed out, landed massive overhand right and cut O Hare. This really wasn't the start that O Hare needed. Laurent from this point wouldn't leave O Hare alone, throwing punches left and right into his body. After a minute O Hare already looked gassed, Laurent landed a massive right hand that sent O Hare crashing to the mat! The cut had opened even more from the strikes landed by Laurent. O Hare seemed to be holding on by getting back to his feet, but he could have just been out standing up. Laurent made sure it was over by dropping him with another shot to the head and by this point the referee had to step in and finish the fight. Good stoppage.

What a great win for for Federic Laurent who had seemed to won within the first second of the very first round. I wonder if the matchup may have had a different outcome if it wasn't for the early cut?

[03] [LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT – BRUCE WAYNE VS. MARK ELLIS]
The match had barely started and it was already over, Ellis rushed out towards Bruce Wayne and went for the take down which was blocked and then countered with a nice crisp shot to the side of the head, knocking Ellis right down to the mat.

The confidence obviously already overflowing for Wayne he called Ellis back to his feet, who responded by taking Wayne up on his offer and they both started to bang! The crowd were loving this one and jumped to their feet in appreciation. The superior striker here coming out on top and Ellis stepped back and looked to be rocked. Wayne saw this instantly and wouldn't let up, throwing hooks to the body. Just a little after the first minute had ended Bruce Wayne drove in with a straight punch and Ellis dropped like a sack of potatoes into the side of the cage, what a lovely KO.

Easy win for Bruce Wayne, who just walked into the cage, counter punched a takedown attempt, and landed a mean straight punch and walked out the winner. Both of these fighters took the Fight of the Night award.

[04] [LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT – FRANKIE RICCI VS. JIMMY SISPHAR]
Once this fight had started Sisphar had already locked Ricci into a clinch hold that didn't seem to be released till the end of the fight. Continuously landing knees to the head of Ricci which eventually opened a cut on his head. The beating continued, the crowd watched in horrow as Sisphar was landing knee, after knee to the head. They were nasty shots, over 10 knees were landing and Riccis Face was a mess.

Ricci had to do something here, he went to grab for a body lock but couldn't get ahold of the seemingly better fighter in Sisphar who was ontop of his game. Then out of nowhere Ricci had Sisphars back, what was he going to do? Suplex him that was what, and with that he threw him up and dropped him on his head like a sack of potatoes. Before Sisphar had even released what had happened Ricci had his back and was working for the choke. Ricci wouldn't let Sisphar have any room to wriggle. He slipped the arm under the chin and Sisphar had no alternative but to tap out.

What a turn around for Frankie Ricci who was getting dominated in the clinch, he managed to turn it around within an instant and get the well deserved award of Submission of the Night, congratulations to him on that.

[05] [MIDDLE WEIGHT – CHARLES WHENTWORTH VS. AURINI GOD EMPEROR]
The older fighter in God Emperor came out in the first round and scored an early takedown while Whentworth was in another world. Did he realize he was in a fight? The round was filled with God Emperor pounding onto Whentworth like donkey kong. Even if the strikes were blocked or not, they will still do some damage! God Emperor was in a trance of landing strikes and while he was gaining the advantage Whentworth took this opportunity to hook on of his legs and sweep him, he had his back! God Emperor was in trouble. The round ended with God Emperor just managing to break free before having to return to his corner. Well I'm sure I know what God Emperor's corner will be saying to him right now.

Whentworth came out in the second round with abit more life in him and obviously more alert than before. He wouldn't let God Emperor secure a take down and was landing nice strikes to the body and leg kicks. You could see this was taking its toll on God Emperor who was desperately trying for the take down. Whentworth moved the fight into the clinch and threw a few mean elbows that all landed. Finally God Emperor got the take down he wanted however for his troubles he'd lost alot of energy. Was it worth it? The referee stood the match up after a 2 or 3 minutes of Emperor seemingly doing nothing to Whentworth. The round came to an end with not much really happening for both corners. This would be a close outcome.

God Emperor managed to come out in the third round and land a takedown quite easily, but yet again Whentworth controlled him from his back. He couldn't do anything, Whentworth just held his wrists and waited for the standup. Whentworth stayed on the outside, not allowing God Emperor to get another takedown. He started throwing a few leg kicks which you could see were landing properly. In the last minute of the final round Whentworth locked in the clinch and went to town. Throwing knees to the body and head, the crowd were on their feet. Was Whentworth going to finish it here? The round came to an end.

The judge's ruled this fight a draw, which I don't think I agree with. I think Whentworth easily took the win here. He didn't win the first round, however he showed his dominance in the second and third round. However the judge's decision is final and credit to both fighters for their performances

[06] [MIDDLEWEIGHT - BERNARD CHAPIN VS. JOHN HUBERT]
This fight ended up being the only other decision on the card. It wasn't the most exciting fight, but it was fought in all aspects of MMA. Submission attempts, striking, wrestling, a good all round match. Chapin managed to sneak the win which should hopefully move him up the rankings nicely.

[07] [MIDDLEWEIGHT - FELIX CARDOSA VS. LICK MYBALLS]
Myballs was coming off a loss and it didn't seem like he'd have much of a chance against Cardosa. However it was a nice all round fight with both fighters showing what they could do for 3 rounds. In the end Myballs managed to get the TKO in the 3rd round. Myballs should be proud of the win after such a 50/50 fight. However maybe next time he shouldn't big himself up that much, the crowd didn't seem to like it as much as he thought they would.

[08] [MIDDLEWEIGHT - DICK NIAZ VS. CODY ROSE]
After opening a early cut on Niaz, Cody Rose was obviously just attacking that cut and Niaz didn't defend it well enough so as expected towards the end of the first round the referee asked the doctor to check the cut. The fight was stopped due to the cut being too big. Clever tactics by Cody Rose there who didn't leave the cut alone.

[09] [MIDDLEWEIGHT - HAROLD PALMER VS. TYRONE SPRONG]
Palmer came out the more active of the two fighters, but possibly a little too active as Sprong threw a head kick which Palmer tried to block but he wasn't quick enough. Palmer looked like a character from the thunderbirds bobbing all over the place. Another head kick connected and Palmer was out! Lovely win for Tyrone Sprong there.

[10] [MIDDLEWEIGHT - SANTIAGO DE JESUS VS. CAIN VELASQUEZ]
What can I say? De Jesus came out, a heavy body kick, follow by a punch to the jaw which cut open Velasquez. A massive head kick landed from De Jesus and Velasquez was out cold. 10 seconds into the fight and it was over. It took longer for both fighters to get into the cage. Well deserved Win and Knockout of the Night for De Jesus.
