Over 18,000 people filled Suomi International and nearly 100,000 more people watched via pay-per-view as the Nordic Fire Championship returned to Helsinki, Finland, site of NFC 136: Glory vs. McTrigger.  10 fights were scheduled on the 2/25/12 card that featured a main event wherein the NFC's Heavyweight Championship would be defended- Golden Glory would put his belt on the line against George McTrigger, a man who had only lost twice in his career.

The main card of the evening began with Osama Robins (27-11-0) facing Dan Jersey (12-5-0) in a middleweight tilt. Having last lost in September of the prior year, Robins was looking to build off a successful NFC debut over Hall of Famer and Finnish MMA legend Pasi Kullero by adding another victory against the 26-year old Jersey, who was making his NFC debut. Early on in the fight Jersey was able to score a takedown, but round two saw Robins drop the debutee with a stinging combination- though Jersey was able to survive the onslaught. In round three, Jersey displayed very good clinchwork and controlled Osama against the cage for a majority of the round. However, he didn't have much luck inside the clinch until the end of the round. It went to the scorecards, and with all three judges scoring this fight 29:28, Osama Robins won by Unanimous Decision.

The next match was a light heavyweight bout between Ledil Kuch (17-4-1) and Thomas Pinta (18-5-1). Kuch, a world class boxer with endless cardio, had been looking to rebound from his loss to Urho Itaniemi, but he'd certainly have his hands full with Pinta, who rode a four-fight win streak into the bout. Early on in the fight it was all Pinta, however, cutting Ledil open at the end of round one. In round two, numerous leg kicks took their toll on Ledil Kuch, leading to a third round in which he was rocked with a counter punch. After winning all three rounds comfortably, it was the hometown favorite's hand raised after all three judges scored the fight 30:27. Thomas Pinta won by Unanimous Decision.

The following fight was a 265+ showcase featuring Garson DeBramalo (18-8-0) and Ej Balingit (23-5-0). The 26-year old DeBramalo went into the fight with back-to-back wins, as did the 28-year old Filipino in Balingit. Early on, DeBramalo swung for the fences-but Balingit scored a right hand early that busted Garson right open. In the clinch, Ej teed off on DeBramalo, dropping him with a picture-perfect Muay Thai knee. At 4:50 of round one, the onslaught mercifully ended as Balingit dropped Garson with a single hook. Ej Balingit wins by KO (Punch).

Next was the co-main event of the evening. Logan Glotka (27-8-1) fought Mitchell Stehling (21-8-0) in the heavyweight division. Glotka was making his NFC debut in a big way, facing one of the early stars of the promotion and Scandinavian MMA as a whole- Mitchell Stehling. Despite the many accolades deservedly won by both fighters before this bout, the contest itself was decidedly one-sided. Glotka, in one of the most bizarre incidents in NFC history, cut Stehling open with an open hand slap, following it up with a crippling body kick and eventually a flurry of punches that knocked out Stehling. At 1:59 of round one, Logan Glotka emerged victorious by KO (Punches).

The main event was, of course, the headliner- Golden Glory (18-3-0) faced George McTrigger (15-2-1) for the Nordic Fire Championship's Heavyweight belt. Glory, already a legend of the sport at the age of 25, looked to continue his run with a victory over McTrigger, who's last loss was in August of 2011. Both fighters are the type to put on a clinic- usually either dominating or getting dominated. There wasn't much to this fight- round one saw McTrigger try to use the clinch game to his advantage, but it backfired. In an attempt to strike in the pocket, McTrigger inadvertently walked into a jab in round two, setting him up for a head kick. After 0:15 of Round Two, Golden Glory won by KO (Head Kick), thus retaining his NFC Heavyweight Championship belt and capping off a night of wonder at NFC 136.

Results from the undercard:
Valdemar Friman defeated Raimo Tikkari by Unanimous Decision (30:27, 30:27, 30:27)
Jimmy Russo defeated Solidus Snake by TKO (Strikes) at 1:44 of Round 2
Oscar MacGregor defeated Thug Behram by TKO (Strikes) at 0:05 of Round 3
Mikko Kytta defeated Roddy Bowes by KO (Punch) at 4:48 of Round 1

Santeri Norzu defeated Sinuhe Egyptianby Unanimous Decision (30:27, 30:27, 30:27)
