GAMMA Gossip#40

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Coming to you is the Tycoon worlds greatest one man show Mentor and i present to you edition #40 of the world famous GAMMA Gossip!

***General news***

- This week GAMMA bid fairwell to Las Vegas in the Wandalay Bay with a 400+ rating PPV headlined by current 205lbs champ Adis Djurdjevic. As of this week our events will be held in LA and London.

- Balthasar Oosteroom beat Marco Maganin in their "loser retires fight". Marco has now officially retired, where as Balthasar has moved down to the GAMMA: Battleground to continue his development.

- Syn rejected the annual events with GAMMA after GAMMA had already positively reacted to their proposal. Apparently they had some "72 hour deadline" to their offer which nobody knew about. Inside informants say that they simply wanted to prolong their fighters careers due to the obvious beating they were likely going to receive.

- Big news is that now the GEG group has been expanded to include the Steel Penn - Hilo. This increases the Super fight options with another 40ish top 1000 p4p fighters.

***Recent key (Top 1000 p4p) signings***

- Cole River is one of the biggest talent in MMA today. Just 25y of age and already ranked p4p 61. Managed by one of the best managers of the Legion of Pain alliance, Joe River. This is one of his best up and coming talents, which says a lot for the top 100 ranked manager. This will be a serious up in competition though for Cole after mainly fighting in the lower leagues so far. He will fight in the 170lbs division.

- Roger Dunowevil current top 300 p4p, highest ranking was top 202 p4p. Roger is a top level fighter, part of the LOP alliance. He is an ex-UPG champion and HERIOC veteran. Just joined our 205lbs division which is one of the deepest in the world.

- Marshall Noir is a top 500 p4p fighter, highest ranking p4p 165. Marshall is managed by Whymer Van Mastodon, who also took Kenichi all the way to the 265lbs title. Part of the famous DILLIGAF alliance. Marshall is a former Maple Leaf Combat champion before it folded and spent his recent fights in UPG Vegas. Marshall has already stated he has his eye firmly focused on Renan St Juste's 170lbs title.

- Richard Hickock is a top 700 p4p fighter managed by one of the best managers in the game Captain Lou, which back in the day took his other fighter, Karl Denke to the top of the 185lbs rankings in GAMMA to win the title. Now he is back again in the 185lbs division, this time with 28y old Hickock. Hickock is a Evolution, UPG and Empire veteran which gives his 20-10 record a lot more respect. Lets see what he can do at our packed 185lbs division.

***Weekend Reviews***

Ba Lil III v  Peter Cabreros (GAMMA Co-main event)
Prediction: Ba Lil III was 65% slight favorite

Ba was my favorite going into this fight. Both fighters wanted to keep this one standing. Peter was the more accurate of the two overall though and all judges had him winning the first round, however it was the 2nd round which was in question, with 2 judges having it a draw, and Alan Glass having it in favor for Ba.

The final round though, Ba took Peter down and kept the fight there to win the round, ending in a Majority Draw. Ba felt he won this fight and celebrated at the final bell, but the judges had other views. Both fighters wanted a rematch, but it has already decided that Ba will be fighting Karl De Groot for the title.

A win for Ba and Peter could setup a great rematch, this time in a title fight.

Adis Djurdjevic v Samor Kanen (Versus Super fight in GAMMA)
Prediction: Adis 65% slight favorite

What was suppose to be a legendary first win for Adis on the super fight circuit ended in a spectacular KO loss, early in the first round. This was the first KO loss for Adis since his loss against Degen Gambler 7 fights ago. Adis will now need to return to the drawing board, in a title fight against impressive newcomer Drazen Kadoic.
