Hello everyone its me once again “Sunshine” Weston Markson, along with my partner Rudy “The Box” Knife, we are here in the Heroic studio to bring to you Heroic 112’s Preview show, but before we get started Mr. Tcres has sent out this special announcement earlier today.

Vido of TCRES starts:   Heroic Mixed Martial Arts is undergoing a small change a rebranding if you will we have for long been Heroic, but we went by HMMA (heroic mixed martial arts) from this point forward we will be simply Heroic.  With that said we have a new merchandise partner The Big Kabosh this partner is open to sponsoring any fighters you need sponsored and has created some Heroic walk out tees and fight bottoms.   Visit the shop and get the gear!

Rudy:  I like it no longer will I refer to us as HMMA, Ladies and gentlemen Heroic  112 is brought to you by The Big Kabosh its going to be a huge night with 5 champions defending their titles and contenders looking to prove they deserve the next shot at the title.

Weston:  Rudy im am more excited about this Saturday then I have been for any Heroic card ever! I think this has the potential to break each and every record and be the most entertaining night in Heroic history.  We expect nearly 20,000 Fans to watch the fights live from the Camden conference center, and thousands more watching at home live! On PPV!

Rudy:  You know what I love the most about this card, every single fighter on this card is ranked in the top 10 of their division, and most of them in the top 5, this is truly the best of  the best fighting it out. Lets get into this!

MAIN EVENT

#3 Kirk Laputa (21-5) v  #1/C Fedor "Cannon" Vladimirov  (17-5)                  265 lbs title

Weston:  The main event of Heroic 112 is a heavyweight clash between champion Fedor Vladimirov and challenger Kirk Laputa.  Last time we saw Fedor Vladimirov he was being inducted into the Heroic Hall of fame.  Now not just a hero but Heroic Fedor looks to do something he has still never done, defend his heavyweight title successfully.  This is his third chance to do so, and Laputa’s first shot at Heroic gold.   Laputa comes into this fight on a seven fight win streak, four of those in Heroic.  He is in good position to pick up an 8th straight win due to the fact that Fedor has never defended a title successfully after winning it.  Will a fire ignite under the champion that allows him to do the only thing he has yet to do in Heroic? Or will the hungry challenger have history repeat itself and take the title from the champ?

Rudy:  WOOOOOO! This is going to be legen….wait for it awesome! Two of the biggest, the baddest heavyweights in the biz.  If you look at the heavyweight p4p rankings in all of mma you will find the champion sitting at 9th, the challenger 27th.  Looking at the Heroic p4p rankings this is the 4th ranked p4p fighter in the org in Fedor against the 7th.  The winner will most likely skyrocket into the top 5 p4p best heavyweights in all of MMA, so good luck to both of these great warriors.  Now lets talk styles, actually lets talk my style! Kickboxing as a former champion in kickboxing we all know I love a good throwdown well this fight is going to be a striking war.  I don’t remember either of these men ever attempting a takedown and I don’t think they will start now.  Furthermore you can expect a knockout these two have 31 (T)KO’s between the two of them and a KO finish rate over 80%.  This will start as an old fashioned brawl I think slightly favors the champion, and when he has had enough he will take the fight to the clinch where he has really turned the tide in some fights.  If he can wear the champion down in the clinch he may come out the victor.

Prediction:  Im torn here honestly but im going with the champ! KO.

CO-MAIN EVENT

#2 Naru "Käsi" Jarkko (24-11)  v  #1/C Donny "The Bear Jew" Donowitz (28-4)       155 lbs title

Weston:  The CO-MAIN EVENT is a lightweight title fight between the champion Donny Donowitz and Naru Jarkko.  Donowitz  comes into this having also (like Vladimirov) just reached Heroic status.  “The Bear Jew” also comes into this the #1 p4p fighter in Heroic, the #3 ranked Lightweight in all of MMA, and the 27th ranked fighter in the world.  The accolades continue to grow with every trip the Heroic’s cage for Donowitz, despite all the accomplishments Naru Jarkko is one man who will not be intimidated by the champions success.  Jarrkko has fought the best fighters in the weight class time in and time out and performed well.  Currently he is the 9th ranked p4p fighter in Heroic, and the 21st best lightweight in the world.  Naru comes into this fight after winning two big fights to earn a shot at the title Jarkko has won 7 out of his last 10 fights losing only to former champion and title challengers.  Donowitz? He has won 8 straight and seems determined to keep that going I cant wait to so who takes this one.

Rudy: Its hard to believe that two smaller men can be so huge this might be the fight of the night.  Lets be honest here though Jarkko is a pretty big underdog here as would just about any lightweight in the world against Donowitz.  The interesting thing about this fight is its an old school striker vs grappler fight.  Donowitz is the striker and uses his boxing mostly averaging over 40 head strikes per fight, he does mix it up a little with kicks in particular his leg kicks which he lands almost 70% of the time.  The key for him in this fight is keeping the fight standing if it hits the ground he could be in trouble as Jarkko is a legit black belt, Donowitz does defend 85% of takedown attempts so he may have the ability to keep this fight standing.  Jarkko can probably last a while standing against Donowitz but if he wants to win the fight he will have to get the fight on the ground.  Naru does land around 35% of his takedowns and when he gets his opponent on  the ground he knows how to go for the finish using his GNP to get the knockout or soften the opponent up for submissions.

Prediction:  Until the champ losses im picking him.  Winner by decision Donowitz.

MAIN CARD

#2 "Boran" Muay Thai (25-11) v  #5  "The Dominator" Trent Pope (32-12)

Weston:  The last fight on the main card is a heavyweight fight between the 2nd ranked former champion Muay Thai, and the up and coming Trent Pope.  Now I have heard through the grapevine that the winner of this fight may very well get a title shot.  Pope  comes into this fight having won 8 straight fights if he wins here, and gets the title shot he could win the title as he runs his streak to 10 straight that’s pressure! Lets not get ahead of ourselves though “The Dominator” has a tough task ahead of him facing the 6th ranked p4p fighter in Heroic, the 2nd ranked in the division, and the 29th ranked heavyweight in all of MMA.  Muay Thai is 5-1 in Heroic his lone loss in his last fight to the current champion when his title was being placed around Fedor’s waist.  I know Thai is bound and determined to put an end to the streak of hype train of Trent Pope as he gets an opportunity to get his title back.

Rudy: Don’t blink….because this fight could be over at any moment, both of these guys are power strikers they have a KO finish rate of 80%, not only that but they both tend to lose by (T)KO.  I can guarantee this fight wont last 15 minutes in fact if it does ill kiss Weston’s left testicle live on the next preview show.   Looking at the stats Muay Thai is slightly more accurate then Pope but its marginal non the less this may be what swings the fight in his favor  I think the winner is the one who connects cleanly one time! Not first  just one time.

Prediction:  Im going with the upset I think Pope gets the TKO win.

#2 "The Lucid Nightmare" Kuma Nelson (16-1) v #1/C “ Go” Phukyorselvf Uzannavabizch (26-5-1)              205 lbs title

Weston:  The next fight is a Light-heavyweight title fight where the 2nd ranked challenger Kuma Nelson takes on the champion Phukyorselvf Zzannavabizch.   This is PU’s second title defense and possibly his toughest challenge to date yet.  Sitting at 4-0 in Heroic PU looks to solidify his reign and move closer to being a dominant champion and eventually becoming Heroic.  Currently PU is ranked 11th in the world at Light-Heavyweight, and second p4p in HMMA.   Kuma Nelson has had only one fight in Heroic but it was impressive enough to earn him the next shot at the champion.  His first fight was a win over Zoran Miloshevich who was ranked 3rd at the time.  This is a big opportunity for Nelson to do what only a few have done and win the Heroic title early in their career.

Rudy:  These two fighters are so evenly matched its going to be a great back and forth battle.  I think this thing is going to take place on the feet, but PU has on occoasion taken the fight to the ground so if he sees an opportunity there he may try.  Both of these elite light-heavyweights are powerful actually both finish right around 62% of their fights by (T)KO.  When it comes down to accuracy Kuma Nelson enjoys a slight advantage landing with just slightly better percentages.  This is going to be a interesting fight, when you have two guys with such similar styles you just never know what to expect.

#1/C Bowser Stormcrow (15-1)  v  #2 Richard "The Lion" Nixon (27-8)       170 lbs title

Weston:  The second fight on the main card is the Welterweight title fight between newly crowned champion Bowser Stormcrow, and a former champion Richard Nixon.  Its hard to believe this card is so stacked that the first three fights on the main card are title fights, you know its going to be a great night when all the champions meet up for some fun.  Stormcrow is the newly crowned champion he won the title at the age of 24 making him the second youngest champion in the history of Heroic’s Welterweight division.  I for one am excited to see what this young man can do, being so young, and skilled he has the potential to become one of the best and historic champions Heroic has seen, but will he live up to the potential?  Not if Richard Nixon has anything to say about it.   Nixon has lost only once since coming into Heroic (4-1) and that was to the man who took his title Masaru Hideki.  Nixon wants his title back and seeks to prove the loss to Hideki was just a bad night if he beats Stormcrow he has a little revenge for himself knowing he just beat the man who beat Hideki that would allow him to know he can defeat anyone in the division.  This is going to be a war no one should miss!

Rudy:  Oh you bet your ass I won’t be missing this fight Weston.  Once again Stormcrow has youth on his side coming into this fight against Nixon who is six years his elder.  Nixon does however have experience on his side having fought over twice as many times as Stormcrow.  If you look at the skills Stormcrow may have a small advantage over Nixon.  Now we can say neither of these fighters attempt takedowns so once again its safe to assume this fight will take place standing.  Remember Stormcrow is thought of as being a little better striker then Nixon….BUT, Nixon is more accurate he lands over 60% in just about every striking category and 70% or better in some.  Nixon also is more versatile in the clinch using knees,  and elbows more often and with success.  When it comes to fight ending power it’s a tie both men have finished exactly 2/3rds of their wins by (T)KO.  When you take into account that Stormcrow has had to put a little more behind his punches to be that powerful then Nixon who puts less but keeps the power then you have to say the small skill advantage Stormcrow has could be nullified.  Guess we will find out Saturday!

Prediction:  Really close fight I think Stormcrow will take a decision.

#1/C Jean Pierre Babin(20-5)  v  #2 Melvin Manhoef (22-9)            185 lbs title

Weston: So here it is the fight to kick off the main card, a middleweight title fight when champion Jean Pierre Babin defends his title against Melvin Manhoef.  When the night is over this will be the fight everyone is left talking about, and the winner I predict to be the next huge thing in MMA.  We all know JPB he was one of the members just inducted into Heroic’s Hall of fame.  He is a two time champion, has only one loss in Heroic sitting at 7-1, he has been involved in 7 straight title fights and Saturday that tally goes up to 8 straight.  JPB has quietly become a legend but with a win Saturday no more being quiet about it JPB will revered as one of the greatest middleweight fighters on the planet.   JPB is the 3rd ranked p4p fighter in Heroic,  and the 19th ranked Middleweight in the world, Manhoef is the 33rd ranked Middleweight but he wants better.  3 straight wins over top contenders have given him the chance to prove he is the best middleweight in the division, the chance to steal JPB’s shine in the spotlight.  This is going to be the best middleweight collision of all time in my opinion.

Rudy:  I think you may be right or at least the best striking fight we have seen yet in the division.  This is a fight between two Elite strikers, both of these guys could dominate kickboxing, or even just boxing if they chose to do so.  I believe these are the two best middleweight strikers on the planet, and Saturday we will learn which one is better.  These two have a combined 33 KO’s, out of their 42 wins.  This means that 79% of their wins have come by knockout.  If I had to chose one fighter to give a power advantage to I would say JPB may have a small advantage, however JPB might be putting more power into his strikes then Manhoef.  Manhoef is one of the most accurate strikers I have seen, his two biggest weapons from striking range are leg kicks, and head punches, he lands an astonishing 80% of both strikes thrown.   Manhoef has also shown a love for the clinch averaging near 15 strikes per fight from the clinch but being slightly less accurate then from striking range landing around 60%.  This fight may swing towards Manhoef’s advantage if JPB can not make him miss his strikes.  Not that I expect it but if this fight hits the ground JPB will have an advantage on the ground, if he is getting beat standing it may be smart to tire Manhoef out on the ground.  So whose chin last the longest?

Prediction:  I cant pick against the champion he has dominated in Heroic but I do think this is his toughest test and I could see Manhoef winning too.  JPB by decision.

PRELIMS

#6 Rusty Kuntz  (32-10-1) v  #4 Shane Luger (22-5)

Weston:  You know its not often that a prelim fight could be the main event of any other card, but that’s what you have here not just his fight but all four preliminary bouts could be the main event of any other Heroic show.  This is high quality matchups here between ranked fighters, the last fight on the preliminary card is huge, the 4th and 6th ranked heavyweights do battle Luger is a former champion and one of the most dominant Heroic has seen I know he wants that title back and a win here he will be able to taste the title and a spot alongside the Heroic.  Kuntz is making just his second appearance but if the first fight told us anything its that he has the skill and power to make a run at the title.  It doesn’t matter if he hits you one time or 100 its going to hurt and leave you wishing it wouldn’t have happened, with 90% of his wins being by way of knockout I think he will be head hunting.

#3 Furious George (21-8)  v  #5 Kenny Floor Jan (26-9)

Rudy: Hey prelims sporting my favorite division the lightweights!  Now we all know im still a little upset at Furious George for beating my boy but this fella is on quite the run he has been surprising people left and right if he can do it again I have been told he will have possibly earned a title shot if he so chooses to take it.  That’s big news and could provide Kenny Floor Jan motivation as well, knowing a win puts himself in good position in this crowded division.  I know after Floor Jan came so close to defeating the champion he wants another crack at the title as well.

#7 Andy Wilkins (18-7) v #8  Pentti Hilkuri (20-10)

Weston:  Two middleweights that have the potential to one day fight for the title, Andy Wilkins, and Pentti Hilkuri trade shots to see who advances in the divisions ranks and who takes a small step back.  Pentti is 2-1 in Heroic and comes into this fight having won two straight.  Wilkins 1-1 having won his last, whoever wins here could move on to big things in the future.

#9 Michael Noonan (20-7-1)  v #10 Sergei Kharitonov (15-5)

Rudy:  You know people we have a great fight to start the evening when 9th ranked heavyweight Michael Noonan takes on 10th ranked Sergei Kharitonov, the winner of this one will probably advance their position in the rankings and the loser may drop out.  Sergei is 7-4 in Heroic and riding a 2 fight win streak he often puts together a few wins and then has a small setback, this is his chance to continue winning, climb the latter and earn a shot at the title which he has come close to a couple times.  Noonan is 4-3, but has proven to be the toughest outing in the heavyweight division.  When he steps in the cage you know its going to be a hard night for whoever he fights, Noonan comes into this one having lost his last fight which was a title eliminator fight against Trent Pope who is now in what is being billed as a #1 contender fight.  This goes to show just how one loss in the division can set you back with so many great fighters.  I hope Sergei has been working his ground game because we know Noonan is going to get this fight to the ground.
