GAMMA Gossip#36

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

I will be doing the Gossip as of now (Mentor Guruland). This is Edition #36 of the world famous GAMMA Gossip!

**General News**

- Drazen Kadoic (115253) has become the latest massive signing for GAMMA. The 29y old from Croatia is managed by ex top 10 manager Mike Forentino, which is making a strong comeback in GAMMA with this second fighter. Drazen is ranked top 281p4p in the world and #48 at 205lbs. He is also on a 5 fight winning streak, with his last one over Binzo Binzo in CFC. He has already fought in several of the top orgs including defunct Golden Standard and ONI as well as more recently in CFC. His first fight will be against recent signing Jia "Pie" O Connor (181631).

- The GAMMA#348 St Juste v Wilson PPV was the highest rated event in GAMMA's history, ranking in just over 500 points.

- I am seriously considering running just one event per week. GAMMA has always been famous for doing the exact opposite over the years. We have been running 2 events weekly for ages and even had a long run with 3 events per week back in 2009 and 2010 before the contenders org was created.

However, the time has come to focus more on quality. Ideally i would like to have 2 PPV per week, but that is not possible with the depth of the roster currently. Obviously that could change over time, however time is what we do not have and we cannot afford to run borderline profits or even losses while our competition is making anything from 500,000 to 1,500,000 weekly simply because they have fewer events.

What we plan to do is create a parallel organization for fighters aged 23y+, similar to the contenders, but it will be for older more established fighters. So basically our contenders org signs fighters 16y to 22y prospects where as the new org will focus more on talented fighters over 22y of age, but which lack hype/popularity and p4p ranking. GAMMA will focus all its efforts in top +3000 p4p fighters only.

What this means is that our fighters aged under 23Y and all those with under 3000 p4p ranking, will move over to the new org. The contracts will stay exactly the same and you wont actually notice any difference at all. The new org is still basically GAMMA, just you could say it is "Division 2".

This decision is not final and i still will be running 2 events per week for September and most of October. I also still need to find the right person to run and own the new organization.

**Previews**

Nero Aurelius v Fred Ettish (Cage Wars super fight in GAMMA)

This was suppose to be a top level super fight, in the end Fred Ettish ended up somewhere in a Brazilian tropical forest (he relocated to RIO instead of Vegas). It is kind of funny if you think about it, but Nero did not think it was funny at all, neither did Cage Wars Hilo. Come to think about it, the event cost us MASSIVE because it was suppose to be the build up PPV to the Renan vs Wilson PPV, we ended up getting a hit here which pushed the next event ratings and profit down a lot as well.

Anyway, Nero will be fighting Raz for his next Super fight instead. They were planned for Cage Wars, but it got moved due to this.

Hantu Rockamole v Buster Grimes

I had this going down as a Hantu victory. He had shown a lot of promise as of late. A win here could of put him into the title picture. Buster was that big scalp he needed to take him to the next level. However it was not to be for the up and comer as Buster turned back the clock for this fight. He was on a bad run himself and desperately needed a win to get back to respectability. He did it in very dominating fashion! KO with a head kick is about as spectacular as it gets. What impressed me more though is how Buster dominated all 3 rounds. The late KO was simply the icing on the cake.

Arthur Curry v Edward Gamer (Aggressive Damage super fight in GAMMA)

Arthur Curry came to GAMMA and got his first win in a massive fight against Edward Gamer from Aggressive Damage. This is the 9th super fight win for GAMMA out of the last 10! It was an impressive TKO finish of the AD veteran. The only downside to this is that Arthur picked up a 12 day injury in the process. Arthur could face Nero next depending on the result of the Nero vs Raz Matazz super fight and also how Fred Ettish does in his fight against Ravi. One thing is for certain, Arthur is already in the 205lbs contention.

Wade Wilson vs Renan St Juste (Versus super fight in GAMMA)

Renan St Juste became the 3rd fighter in GAMMA's history to be ranked #1 p4p rated fighter and has now been inducted to the MMA Tyccon Hall of fame!

http://www.mmatycoon.com/halloffame.php

He will also go down as the shortest lived top p4p fighter ever as he held the rank for less than one day! The day before the reigning p4p champion lost his fight, moving Renan (which was #2 at the time) into the #1 spot. The title was very short lived though because Kyle Carlton won his fight in London (a few hours later). Regaining the top spot. Renan had the chance to get his title back, but he lost his fight against Wilson.

Never the less, Renan was ranked #1 for at least a few hours, enough to get drunk and come to his own fight with 94% conditioning, which ultimately cost him the fight. The goal going into this fight was to become #1 of the world and you could say the main objective was achieved.
