TTFC Valentine Vs. Schwalle ( 770813 )

Event Preview: TTFC Valentine Vs Schwalle
Team Thomas Fight Club
2013-06-08, New York, Liberty Dome
Author:Eric Berry

Tonight’s event features two of the best welterweights in a title match as Gregg Valentine defends his belt against Oliver Schwalle. The Co-main event is a heavyweight battle between previous champ Evander Holyshit and possible future contender Frank Bellator.

Main Event (Welterweight Championship)

Gregg “The Hammer” Valentine (27-12-1) Vs. Oliver Schwalle (8-3-0)

“The Hammer” Puts his belt on the line in this one against Oliver Schwalle, who has beaten his last 4 opponents by way of knock out. Schwalle does have a major hole in his game when it comes to muay thai. If Valentine can exploit this glaring weakness, then this could be over very quickly. However we can all expect Schwalle to avoid the clinch and keep his distance while timing his shots looking for another swift knockout. This one could go either way, but I would say the champ remains the champ in this one.

Prediction: Gregg Valentine via TKO

Co-Main Event

“the chosen one” Evander Holyshit(27-14-0) Vs. “Sage Francis” Frank Bellator (11-7-0)

This is a very intriguing fight as a fighter possibly approaching the end of his career takes on a fighter who is in the prime of his career. Evander Holyshit definitely has the experience adavantage in this one. Evander just lost the heavy weight title in his last fight and is eagerly hoping to make his way back to the top contender spot.. Tonight though, he has a heck of a fighter standing in his way. That man is Frank Bellator who after losing his first fight in the TTFC has gone undefeated since, winning in a variety of ways for his last 5 fights. He can win by ko, submission as well as go the distance and take the decision. I think this one will end up on the ground with Bellator walking away with a submission victory and jumping a few heads in his path to becoming the number one contender.

Prediction: Frank Bellator via submission
