The event was well received and the arena was completely sold out. The crowd was into pretty much every fight all the way through the card. Seven of the ten fights ended early, so there was lots of action all the way through.

Muntz v Hitchenfrog
The main event was action filled and bloody. Hitchenfrog was cut early and while his cut man worked diligently, Hitchenfrog had trouble defending it. Both fighters were active throughout the fight, but Muntz landed more blows throughout all three rounds and won the fight pretty comfortably.

Rickenbacker v Lopez
Lopez was the victim of eating one too many big knees in this fight. Rickenbacker had an advantage in muay thai and used that advantage as much as he could. It was definitely that advantage that took him to victory. Lopez was ahead on the judges’ cards however, having used his ground game to keep Rickenbacker on the defensive and nearly getting a submission on multiple occasions. Unfortunately Lopez’s chin betrayed him in the third round and Rickenbacker was able to escape with the win.

Tito v Growoo
The judges has a tricky time with this one. Growwoo was more than game and gave Tito all he wanted and then some. Tito left a good bit of blood on the mat, but did a good amount of damage with his standup game and managed to defend himself in the clinch well enough to take home the victory. The first round was the closest, but the judges were in unanimous agreement about the last two rounds, giving them both to Tito.

Kennedy v Sir
This matchup promised to be a good one, but was actually rather one sided. Kinnedy managed to get Sir into a clinch in only thirty seconds or so, and went to work immediately. Sir was unable to get himself loose and kennedy left Sir a bloody heap on the mat thanks to an impressive series of elbows and hooks to the head.

Dog v Estripador
This fight was short and one sided. Estripador took 14 solid shots to his head in under four minutes, including an absolutely devastating hook to the temple that sent him crashing to the mat. Estripador’s plan coming in appeared to be to throw combos. Unfortunately he only landed one out of thirteen attempts. Add to that the fact that Estripador was 0 for three in takedown attempts and it guaranteed a bad night.

Jake v Eremiel
The first round of this fight was the closest. The fight went to the ground early in the round and Jake took damage in exchange for gaining position to attempt submissions. Jake nearly managed to end the fight early on two different occasions, putting Eremiel in to very bad positions before the defender was able to wriggle free. The last two rounds were spent either standing or in the clinch. Both of the last two rounds were close but the judges ultimately gave all three rounds to Jake.

Malikai v Sahebt
This fight was over almost as fast as it began. Malikai threw exactly one shot while standing up. It was a headkick that sent Sahebt to the mat in a daze. Malikai went down and immediately gained mount. The fight was over from there as Malikai patiently landed some strikes, gained Sahebt’s back, and secured a victory via rear naked choke.

Grey v Daniels
Daniels had his work cut out for him coming into the fight and everyone knew it. This was a simple question of whether Daniels could get Grey to the ground. He couldn’t, despite trying nine times in under three minutes. His failures resulted in Grey teeing off with his boxing skill, landing 24 shots, most of which were to the head.

Tags v Kaholic
Both men were active in this short lived fight, but it was Tags who did all the tagging. Kaholic didn’t land a single blow in the short fight, which is bad news in and of itself. But Tags landed a wicked hook which sent Kaholic crashing down and that spelled the end of the fight.

Suokuokka v Caschera
This fight was entertaining and at least close to even. It would have been interesting to have seen it go three rounds. Unfortunately Caschera was cut open by a rather innocent looking jab and Suokuokka took advantage of it. Shot after shot landing on the injured area resulted in the cut becoming steadily worse until a nasty elbow forced the doctor to stop the fight.
