 BFT-186 Hard Knock Life 4

Light Heavyweight - "Money Pacman" Floyd Pacquiao knocked out Bulgelene Gossables with strikes at 3:56 in round 1.

Things started off pretty well for Pacquiao. He was able to secure a takedown quickly and worked towards a few submission attempts. He moved toward half gaurd, lands a few shots, and hops into mount! from there he rained down the ground and pound until the ref hops in. Gossables was completely out of it. Some nice power shots from Pacquiao.

Middleweight - Antoine "A-Train" Wallace knocked out Richie Yang with strikes at 1:37 in round 2.

The fight starts off with with both guys swinging and landing. They started off looking for a finish early. Eventually, Wallace took the fight into the clinch. From there, Wallace wass having a lot more success with short shots to the body and head than Yang had trying with his knees. Towards the end of the round, Yang was able to put together a solid combination the had Yang's knees buckle. Wallace let him back up and traded some more. An overhand right rocks him hard, but Yang was able to hold on the the end of the round. It was a tough scare for Yang, but Wallace was all over it. Round two started and the two of them found their way back into the clinch. Wallace found the succcess that had him pervailing so well in the first round, finding a home for most of his shot. He mixed things up afterward and took things to the ground. From there, he had a ton of success with the ground and pound. He rocked Yang again, and he did not have time on his side this time. A few more shots from Wallace, and the ref had seen enough.

Heavyweight - Hall of Famer Jake the Snake knocked out "Broomstick" Dingo Monster with strikes at 4:56 in round 1.

Jake had landed for a while at the distance in the opening of the bout until Monster brought things up against the cage. The continued to trade, with Monster landing a... monster knee to the head of the Snake. He opened up a cut on Jake and it looked nasty. The two of them tried to strike in the clinch for a while, but neither really found success there. The Snake eventually broke things up and took to the mat. He got things into side control and let his fists take off. He opened a cut on Monster while landing ground and pound as if it were his last fight ever. He just kept on him until the ref jumps in there. Really good ground and pound from the Hall of Famer.

Co-Main - Middleweight Title - Champion Amir "Scorpion" Khan submits Ryan Clarkson with a triangle at 1:57 in round 1 to defend his title for the first time.

Clarkson had some decent success on the feet, until he decided to take things to the ground. Khan was able to moce the fight from half gaurd to full gaurd. From there he worked on a triangle choke. Clarkson looked like he was fine for a while and didn't think too much of shrugging it off. But then Khan locked him legs togetherand then things began to look bad for Clarkson. He was trying to get out of it, but Khan pulled down on his head to make it that much tighter. Clarkson knew he was in trouble and so did Khan. He had a smile going from ear-to-ear as he waited for Clarkson to tap. A great submission from champ.

Main Event - Welterweight Title - Champion Super Hans knocked out "Brown and Pound" Ball Sack Jr. with strikes at 1:29 in round 4 for his 3rd title defence.

The two of these guys were throwing at will. They were trying to catch the other person off gaurd with some strong shots. It was Super Hans that was looking much more successful on the feet, but towards the end of the round, he took things down. Neither of the men could really get anything off, but Hans was content with skating by on the success he had earlier in the round. The second round had more of the same from Hans. He really looked relaxed and calm going into there. At the end of this round, there was a little clinch action that was initiated by the champ, where he had some good shots land until the round ended. The third round looked more like a Hans round as well. He just was too much for Sack Jr. to handle at the distance. That being said, Ball certainly had his moments at the distance. But Hans was just much more successful. Ball made it through to the next round again, but you had to think that he needed to fight with more desparation. The fourth round looked more and more as though Hans was going to get through the round to a dominant decision. But just as that though went through people's minds, Hans landed a huge head kick that had Sack Jr. fall with great force. There was no way he was getting up after that. Hans jumped in there afterward to land a few more shots until the ref had seen enough. The victory tonight tied him for the second most title defences in the welterweight division tieing him with Hall of Famer Guilherme Alves.
