How’s it goin people? I’m here to bring you a couple of lines for the next HERO FC event – HERO Warfare 8. We have a fine selection of competitive clashes, guaranteeing a bloodbath and a good time. The headline will feature Artem Bessmetin stepping up for the first time as the welterweight champion to take on Kaheli Sonni in a 5 round struggle. We have a lot more on that card in terms of entertainment tough:

Prelims

Mad Child (4-6-1) v Brian “Scrawny” Tombo (1-5-0)

Bantamweight

There are too many people, claiming the lower weight classes aren’t that exciting, but Mad Child and Brian Tombo will definitely change the minds of one or two haters.

Arttu Attila (3-9-0) v Jake Shields (3-4-0)

Welterweight

Both guys have a lot to do in order to sharpen up their stand up, but they compensate that with great grappling skills that they are hopefuly going to showcase against each other.

Jacky Ler (2-3-0) v Tommi “T-bomb” Talentti (6-5-0)

Featherweight

Both guys are well rounded, but I think Ler is keener to stand and trade with Talentti, while “T-bomb” might wanna take it to the ground and snap an arm or something.

Conor “Monster” Heartr (7-7-0) v Artie Lange (6-6-0)

Bantamweight

The last time those two met, Lange won by submission. This time around Heartr feels more prepared than ever, but will that be enough, remains to be seen.

“The Elbow” Charles Cooper (7-4-0) v Chuck Vogelpohl (5-5-0)

Welterweight

Charles’ gameplan is no secret to anyone, but there are a lot of guys that can’t deal with it. That said, Vogelpohl’s grappling will allow him to negate Cooper’s clinchword, but only if he fights smart ofc.

Main card

Fernando Emerlong (6-3-0) v Nikolai Jegorowitsch Makarow (3-1-0)

Heavyweight

Those two have indentical styles and that is exactly what makes this fight so interesting. They both rely on their boxing to win fights and Emerlong has a good reach advantage so I wonder whether that might be the deciding factor of the fight.

“The Bull” Ian Miles (3-0-0) v Mark Murphy (10-5-0)

Middleweight

Murphy was on a 4 fight win streak before he ran into the champ Christian Olson and will now look to get another W against an exciting and undefeated newcomer – Ian Miles. Miles was really excited about his HERO debut and promised a KO for it so don’t blink when those two square off.

“The Hurricane” Rubin Carter (4-3-0) v “Kuusamon Zorro” Rambo Kalervo Kukkonen (6-2-1)

Middleweight

Carter is undefeated inside the HERO cage but that may soon change because he is facing a serious challenge – Rambo Kalervo Kukkonen. Both guys are incredibly skilled and it is a joy to watch them showcase what a good mixed martial artist should look like. “The Hurricane” prefers to knock out guys while Rambo prefers to make them tap and both are equally good at what they do.

Johan Fredrikson (11-1-0) v Dae Jung Pak (8-5-0)

Welterweight. Co-main event

Fredrikson suffered a crushing and quite unexpected defeat in his HERO debut but there will be no rest for him as he is taking on another member of the org’s finest fighters – Dae Jung Pak. Pak has won his last two fights and will be looking to use that momentum against the former VFN champ. It will be interesting to see what changes did Johan did after his first pro defeat and judging from the talent he possesses I think he’ll be better then ever.

“Kaschey” Artem Bessmertin (6-1-0) v Kaheli Sonni (7-2-0)

Welterweight. Title fight. Main event

Both Artem and Kaheli got out of their last fights with their hands raised up, despite being serious underdogs. After that, the most logical thing happened and the newly crowned champion is going to put everything on the line against the darkhorse of the division. Bessmertin and Sonni are both known as great grapplers but what stands out is the fact that Artem has a phenomenal wrestling that Sonni has to be aware of. I hope he has done a lot of work off his back, because if Bessmertin wants him down, he will get him down. Both guys are explosive and have serious submission offence in their arsenal so coming into this fight both guys have their chances to leave with the belt.
