With a dual card weekend and a fantastic outting last weekend's card being an outstanding showing of raw power and skill, you know it's time for another super review.

BFT 177 - Hard Knock Life 2

Light Heavyweight - Antoine "A-Train" Wallace submitted Titus "Tko" Kahoohalphala with a triangle choke at 2:44 of round 1.

The fight started and Titus wanted things to go to the ground, and was successful at it. "Tko" was throwing the ground and pound looking for the TKO. They breifly stand before they hit the mats again. I don't know what happened on that takedown, but Wallace woke up. He went for a loose triangle that did nothing, but he tightened it up on a second attempt and got it. Nice.

Co-Main - Middleweight Title! - Amir "Scorpion" Khan submitted Gary "Take That" Barlow with an armbar at 1:58 of round 1 to take the vacant championship home.

Right away Barlow made this a grappling match. The two of them were looking for openings to advance position and get submissions, but it was not easy. Barlow went for a kneebar or leg lock or something on his leg that just didn't pan out, which left an opening for Khan to get an armbar. A great finish by the new champ.

Main Event - Welterweight Title! - Champ Super Hans submitted Chev Chelios with an kimura at 1:58 of round 1 to defend his title for the second time.

Things looked good for the challenger early. They were exchanging early on the feel when Hans got cut open early from a stiff jab. Hans landed a punch and a kick early too before he dragged him down and locked into a kimura. In and out.

BFT - 179

Middleweight - Rodrigo De Noteboom knocked out Tony Draco with strikes at 2:59 in round 1.

De Noteboom just had his way. He took things to the ground and just landed the ground and pound. Draco flailed around trying to get this guy off of him, but he couldn't do it. He just kept on it until the ref got in there to stop things.

Co-Main - Welterweight - Pranang Krampuk Unanimous Decisioned "Clap" Igor Wietrzny

Krampuk pretty much kept to his game plan. The first round had Krampuk landing well on his feet, with Wietrzny doing what he can to get the fight to the ground. He got it to the ground but couldn't do much with it. The second round was contested entire on the feet and that was exactly what he wanted. He was just landing like there was no tomorrow. He looked damn impressive. In the last round, Wietrzny got rocked by a high kick quickly. Krampuk held on and managed to get a takedown right at the end of the round. He was throwing up submissions, but it wasn't enough. Krampuk walked away with a great victory.

Main Event - Lightweight - "Stoneface" Samuel Vimes Unanimous Decisioned "Douser" Johnny Woo.

"Stoneface" is back. He didn't look it in the first round though. Johnny Woo got a takedown early and did everything that he could. The second round started, and it appeared as though there would be more of the same. But then Vimes got up. And he was pissed. He started landing things as he could. He was huring Woo and looked to turn things around. Going into the last round, it was 1-1. The final round was contested entirely at the feet, so I think you might be able to tell that Vimes had this round easily. He couldn't finish, but he looked pretty impressive.

BFT - 180 - Hard Knock Life 3

Heavyweight - "Demolition Man" Alistar Overeem knocked out Frank Mir at 43 seconds in round 1.

Frank Mir looked unbeatable... BEFORE this fight. Alistar clinched things up and threw the elbows until Mir went out.

Co-Main - Lightweight Title! - "Kana" Kuroda Atsushi Unanimous Decisioned "The Tiny Bear" Sergei Cosixen.

This fight had Atsushi's name writen all over it. He took things down and held him down until the round had ended. He worked away with a little bit of ground and pound and tried to slap on a few submissions, but couldn't really grab ahold of anything. The second round saw more of the same. There was a little clinch action, but nothing too significant. The third round went back down to the ground, but hope was found for Cosixen. Atsushi was getting tired and the ref got Cosixen to get up. Unfortunately, it was short lived. Atsushi got the fight back down to the mat and was landing fights as he could. He even got Cosixen into trouble when Atsushi was hit by a huge shot. The final round went out on the feet, and the two of them went at it. They both were throwing it out there. Cosixen had bad intentions on every throw. But it was not enough and Atsushi was declared the victor.

Main Event - Heavyweight Title! - Hagen "The Barbarian" Germanicus KO'ed Steve "The Tank" Tompkins at 2:06 of round 1.

Wow man. Big guys + Bad Intentions = Great Fight! Germanicus looked pretty in control. He outlanded his opponent at the distance, in the clinch, and even got a takedown. Some nice punches cut him open when they got up from the ground. A solid hook planted onto Tompkin's face was enough to end it and Germanicus walked away looking pretty happy.

Other Fights on the Card:
