Los Angeles Cage Blaze Championship (190K+)

Mark Makovsky here, I’m going to be writing previews/reviews for CBC. Hope you guys like my work, and this entertains us all.

On November 28th, CBC held an incredible event that had locals buzzing. 10 Fight, 10 Finishes. In the Co-Main event we had James Te Huna knocking out Adama Sailo in 32 seconds with a powerful, precise spinning back fist . The main event Dylon rocked Blake early and took it to him once he smelt blood. The fight ended in 26 seconds via TKO. Overall, one of the more entertaining events I’ve seen and it looks like nothing but great things ahead.

Now on to CBC 3 – Heavyweight Grand Prix Quarter Finals.

 Jose Lothario(0-1) vs Clean Salmon(2-0)

Both of these fighters are pretty evenly matched standing. Lothario drew a tough match up for round 1. We have an 18 year old vs a 25 year old. I’m predicting that Salmon will out class him with his physical attributes and possibly his wrestling.Prediction – Salmon via KO Round 1

 Jackson Conner(1-2) vs Andrew Damian(1-0)

Jackson Conner comes in 6 years the elder. Conner being 26, Damian being 18, we run into the same situation as the fight above. While they are pretty evenly matched, Conner has a slight advantage in Boxing and Muay Thai and no most likely an advantage in his physical attributes. I’ll have to predict Jackon Conner via Decision.

Game Time Jones(1-0) vs John Stamos(0-1)

Here we have two 25 year old fighters in a classic striker vs grappler matchup. Stamos being the striker, coming in as a very powerful boxer with limited jits. On the other hand we have Jones with dominant wrestling and sub defense and some vicious ground and pound. I’m going to have to go with Jones via TKO via Ground and Pound in Round 2(Possibly round 1)

 Wayne Shamrock vs Cael Cooper

Not much of an age difference between the two fighters. We have Cael Cooper coming in with some decent boxing and wrestling to go along with a developed ground game. Wayne Shamrock is defiantly a dominant wrestler that is limited elsewhere, but no doubt he will dominate top position, the real question is how advanced is his submission defense. And on the other hand, can Cael even compete with his take down defense, and if he is on his back how will he respond?. Tough fight. I’ll take Cael Cooper via submission Round 3.

Good luck to all the fighters competing in the CBC Heavyweight Grand Prix. I’m Mark Makovsky and I hope this was bearable.
