Author:Bel Ciganin

Greeting ladies and gentlemen. It is me, Bel Ciganin, bringing you the hottest previews for another HERO FC event – HERO Warfare 1.  We have series of exciting matches including a title fight in which Doug Camcho will try to defend his newly won lightweight championship against Usko Luttinen and former champion Wai Man Li will take on Igor Yakovchenko in the co-main event. I have a birthday today, so I’m going to be short and get back to drinking ASAP:
Preliminary
Terrell "Ball So Hard" Suggs (0-2-0) v Mad Child (3-5-1)
Featherweight
Suggs makes his org debut and will seek his first pro victory against Mad Child, who is a tough nut to crack.
Enrique Alvarez (0-3-0) v “Iron Fist” Jason Rogers (3-2-0)
Heavyweight
Alvarez would like to take the fight to the ground but he has to be careful because he can hit the deck if Rogers sees an opening.
Artie Lange (4-5-0) v Dan „No“ Love (5-7-0)
Bantamweight
Dan has no love for Lange and I think he is prepared wherever this fight goes but when you get a guy with Artie’s grappling you can never be sure whether you are prepared enough.
"Korpraali" Arto Markkanen (5-6-0) v Marius Matei (3-1-0)
Middleweight
This fight features two well-rounded matched guys who will go all out. Matei has the grappling advantage while Makkanen is the better striker and more experienced fighter.

"The Little Princess" LeeAnne Marie (2-2-0) v Nyyrikki "Noutaja" Takaraivo (3-0-0)
Light heavyweight
LeeAnne is a very skilled fighter but he can’t quite find his form. He will try to do that against promising prospect Takaraivo who has an undefeated 3-0 record.
Main Card:
“Killer Elite” Tex Morgan (4-6-0) v Tyson Pearson (6-3-0)
Featherweight
Tex Morgan doesn’t have the most impressive record, but make no mistake – he is a real beast and has always fought the best guys in the division. Tonight’s fight will be no different for him as he is taking on former champ Tyson Pearson who has grown in front of our eyes as a fighter and is now ready to go back on the hunt for the title.
Pekka “Shorty” Pikkarainen (9-6-0) v Trulove Sackett (5-4-0)
Featherweight
Pekka is a real veteran and has tied the record for most fights in the organization. He is taking on another veteran who has fought in two divisions and has taken a lot of heads throughout his career. Pekka is 24sm shorter than Sackett but he will match the lack of height with heart as always.
Kirk Gracie (8-3-0) v Dae Jung Pak (6-4-0)
Welterweight
Kirk Gracie is a BJJ brown belt with 7 submission wins and his gameplan is simple – get it to the ground and take and arm home. His opponent is as tough as they come though. Dae Jung Pak has shown he can recover from really nasty situations and never gives up. That, combined with his crisp strikes makes up for an interesting stylistic match up and an exciting fight.
Wai Man Li (9-2-0) v Igor Yakovchenko (3-4-0)
Lightweight. CO-main event!
Our Co-main event is something special. Former lightweight champion Wai Man Li takes on the pleasant surprise Igor Yakovchenko. Wai Man Li was once considered unbeatable, but that myth was destroyed by Doug Camacho who knocked him back into yesterday with a head kick in the opening round of their title fight. Li is a possessor of incredible grappling and will try to use it against Yakovchenko to start rebuilding his legacy. Igor entered MMA with high expectations and it was evident he is very capable in every department, but there was something lacking for him and his notched a 2-4 record before his destruction over Kasavanov in his last fight. That fight opened a lot of eyes and put him high in the rankings. He will have the toughest fight to date against Wai Man Li, but a potential victory will be an incredible reward for all of his hard work.
Doug Camcho (7-0-0) v Usko Luttinen (8-2-0)
Lightweight. Title fight! Main Event!
So we made it to the main event. I’m sure there will be great fights down the card, but this one is going to be a real barnburner. The champion Doug Camcho will enter the cage with one intention – defend the title and his opponent tonight Usko Luttinen will give his best in order to take it for himself. Camcho was relatively unknown when he came into HERO FC. All he had was a good record that gave him a title fight in his debut match and he absolutely shocked everyone who has been following the Helsinki based organisation by dispatching Wai Man Li and taking his title away. Camcho has always used his striking to garner victories and accolades, but he might be forced to find another way to win cuz he is facing Usko Lattinen. Lattinen is in my opinion one of the top 3 strikers in HERO FC and he can pose problems standing to every human being god ever made and Doug is no exception. This fight will give a lot of answers for Doug’s real skillset and I’m sure Lattinen will push him to the limit and we will see who is more prepared and who wants it more.
