Congratulations to all the fighters who participated in this debut event for KOTC. Even if you lost you still were able to showcase your talents and will likely have many more fights with this organization...or you just sucked and your manager will cut your ass, drink himself silly for a week, and replace you with a better fighter. Either way this card opened up and finished with an absolute bang. Lets jump right on in to the fights!

Main Card:

Buster Cherry (1-0-0) def. BJ "The Prodigy" Penn (0-6-0)

Welter Weight

I don't suppose I could have called this fight any better stylistically. Buster wanted it on the ground, got it there, cut Penn and then proceeded to finish him off in the first round. What an absolutely great way to start the card! Congrats to Buster on his first professional win.

Renen "Barao" Pagado (1-0-0) def. Spar Boxing (1-4-0)

Heavy Weight

This fight was about as basic as it gets. At the bell, Pagado runs across the ring and immediately starts shooting for a takedown. Once he gets it, it is submission attempt at submission attempt and Boxing just could not hang on for very long on the ground. Great debut by Renen and we shall see if he can start to show a varying attack in the future.

Brad "Bandytown" Bandrige (1-0-0) def. "The Monster" Frank N Stein (0-1-0)

Middle Weight

Bandrigde may not be the best boxer on the circuit, but he knew the trick to beating Stein would be to just standup and hit him in the face. Wow, just wow! He knocked him out cold in 40 seconds. Watch out for this guy as he might just have future KO artist written all over him!

Fedor "The Last Emporer" Emelianenko (1-0-0) def. Buster Hymen (0-1-0)

Heavy Weight

This fight may have been decided by a cut, but if you seen how the fight was going you would see Fedor was just clinching him up and crushing him. I am not sure Buster could have continued to take the amount of damage he was receiving and may have been lucky to get out when he did. On a side note, Fedor was cut right at the start and we will see if his scar tissue plays a role in his later fights.

"The Duke" Igor Pokrajac (2-0-0) def. "Mr Wonderful" Justin Credible (0-1-0)

Light Heavy Weight

I really had high hopes for Justin in the fight. Igor trained his ass off in camp and came out prepared to defend the takedown and return the favor with massive kicks. This was one of the nastiest KO's from a kick I have ever seen. Igor was so out of it he just stood there as the final kick smashed right into the side of his head and then he dropped limp to the floor. Absolutely sick!

Al Kaholic (1-0-0) def. Daniel "Black Fedor" Cormier (1-2-1)

Heavy Weight

This fight turned out to be a bust for Cormier. Not only did he fail all 3 takedown attempts, he never tried to do anything else. Kaholic hit him with a total of 5 (100% accuracy) shots in the clinch and the fight was over. He even gave Cormier a chance to recover when he was rocked (not sure why!) and Cormier just could not do it. Great job by Kaholic on dominating this fight.

"Gypsy" Junior Dos Santos (1-0-0)def. Kane "Heat" Legion (1-1-0)

Heavy Weight

This fight was entertaining just like I said it would be. Legion actually got the fight to the ground but just could not finish the scrappy Dos Santos. The mistake made in this fight was Legion never tried to change his game when he realized he was not going to get the submission and then Dos Santos got the fight where he wanted it...on the feet. From there it was just a matter of time until he KO'd him.

Spar Wrestling (6-3-0) def. David Bromley (2-2-0)

Welter Weight

This fight went nothing like I thought it would. Bromley did try to keep it on the feet as I assumed, but Wrestling was not happy with just taking him down and beating on him. He wanted to submit him and he did! Wow, what an incredible way to win this fight.

"The Natural" Randy Couture (5-0-0) def. Ultimate Fighter (4-4-0)

Heavy Weight

2 things absolutely doomed Fighter as soon as this fight started. First, he got cut against a clinch fighter. Secondly, he was gassed 15 seconds in to the round. Couture showed his absolute power and control by putting Fighter exactly where he wanted him and just ending his dream in 48 seconds. He is 5-0 and really has the look of a future champion.

Not a single fight went to decision or even made it out of the first round. The guys came into this fight with every intent on ending it fast and early. It was a really great showing for some of the guys while some of the others ended up looking like scrubs in the end. Either way I really enjoyed sitting ringside getting drunk, getting a handjob from the girl on my right, watching my priest get a handjob on my left, and seeing so much damn blood everywhere! Matter of fact I think some even got in my beer at one point. I should have myself checked...

Congrats on a great debut card KoTC, thanks for the seats Wild Bob's Bar, and this should be just the first of many great events at this organization.
