 After our greatly successful debut on PPV at SOTF 8, New York’s fastest rising MMA organization, Survival of the Fittest, in association with our merchandise partners, Canadian Fighter Clothing , proudly presents SOTF 9: The Goodfellas, an event that will take place in the Liberty Dome arena on Saturday the 22nd of September 2012, and will be broadcasted to you live on Pay Per View. This event will be headlined by the light-heavyweight bout between Charlie Luciano and Elliot Saunders, and will also feature 9 other exiting fights. We kick things off with a light-heavyweight bout, where two young fighters will be hoping to get their first SOTF win. After loosing his promotional debut in a bout that earned him the ‘’fight of the night’’ bonus at SOTF 4, 22 year old respectable boxer Ron Kelly is hoping to bounce back and prove that he is more than just an entertaining brawler. Meanwhile, 25 year old competent boxer and Muay Thai fighter Sam Grumpky is making his SOTF debut and is searching for his first career victory. To all the MMA fans out there, I bring to you today the preview of yet another big event in Ascension which features a battle for the 265 lbs belt and some other great fights as well.. What makes this so much more special is the fact that it’s the birthday event of our beloved Org owner, Mr. Dean Sutherland.. Happy Birthday Boss.. Bantrell is going to get another chance at the 265 title against Victor Creed after he failed to show up the last time.. Victor Creed looks like he is in the best form of his career.. He has 8 victories in a row to boast of, and he has already twice defended his title, that too in tremendous style by knocking out both his opponents.. In fact, a whopping 94% of his 16 victories have come via knock outs.. Big Dogger enters this fight with Excellent Boxing and a strong Boxing Background. He also has some decent ground game! Billy Beauj enters the octagon with similarly strong Boxing, and a well rounded game-plan that could easily stifle and over-take Kaspars. The BELL RINGS! Beauj's entrance to Metallica has certainly JACKED the Crowd right up! Beauj shoots for a takedown and is stuffed! He dodges a few strikes from Dogger! Dogger lands a Jab and Beauj takes a step back and acknowledges. Dogger with a Hard body shot! Both fighers circling! Dogger checks a leg kick! Beauj lands a left and a right! Good Combo! Beauj presses inwards but Dogger feeds him a Jab and circles away again! Another Cross from Dogger! Beauj backs out. ONLY to shoot in again! It is stuffed and we sit at a stalemate!  Torment MMA-LA one of Los Angeles premier fight organizations is set to host another spectactular card. The Hard Knocks arena is sure to be jammed packed with fight fans as we will see the Vacant welterweight Championship on the line in the Main Event. On top of that we have the Bantamweight challenge Simi Finals on showcase. Them little rascals sure know how to put on a show and we got for of the best taking the cage this Saturday Night. Chanco "Johnny Boy" Smith (3-2-0) Vs. Alex Silva (3-0-0)
We will be starting the show off in the Featherweight division in a bout that may go down to the last bell. Chancho is coming to LA from his base in Hilo looking for some destruction, he notched his first win here with Torment MMA in his last outing. "Johnny boy" is a very determind fighter that does not seem to give up, as he had one hell of a brawl with Incan bulb which earned him "Fight of the Night" back in July. Silva on the other hand has yet to taste defeat in his young career with a 3-0 record. He made his debut here against Trevor simpson whom he dismantled in just 16 seconds. These two match-up very well with one another and they both seem to have a knack for putting on great fights which is a awesome way to kick things off.

"The Wolf" Damian Miller (3-1-0) Vs. "Mayhem" Mike Lewis (5-3-0)
Aaaaahhhhhooooo thats right "The Wolf" Damian Miller is back for another throwdown. Miller had a tough draw his first time up loosing to the events Co-Headliner White Sons, look for him to be out for blood this time around. Damian knows how to exacute a very good single-leg TD and once he gets his prey down look out for his well versed ground game including his specialty the Kimura which he finished all his wins with. After more than 3.5 years of action in the Canadian Fighting Championship, the promotion forays into the brave new world of pay per views this weekend. Boasting one of the most impressive cards top to bottom in the organization’s history, this proves to be a great event for CFC fans around the world. It hasn’t been easy. Some of the fights the promotion hoped to book didn’t come to fruition and some key fighters were not available due to injury and schedule issues. But on Sunday, Owner Matt Mac is proud to present Untitled Project PPV.
The main event of the evening features one of the CFC’s recent marquee signings Michael Vronsky taking on Lazarus Jones who reportedly generously made his services available to be a part of this historic event. Vronsky is a truly elite grappler. He’s one of the top wrestlers in mixed martial arts today and has a strong jiu jitsu base. He’s cut from a similar mold of a Matt Hughes type fighter, a true ground and pound specialist with good enough boxing to generally keep him out of trouble. He’s never been stopped by strikes in his career. Facing him is Jones, another fighter with strong offensive and defensive wrestling skills. Jones undeniably has an edge on the feet where he’s had a lot of success. But if Vronsky can get him down and stay on top of him, there is a fight that could end poorly for Jones.  Hisashi Matsuoka, born April 21st, 1987, in Tokyo, Japan. He first competed in wrestling tournaments, but found his place in Jiu Jitsu. He was born and raised in family with Martial Arts roots - his father was a black belt in Judo and Japanesse Jiu Jisu - so his parents supported him and helped him become better man and fighter. He quickly become a BJJ Phenom, when he become Tokyo's champion in BJJ in 205 division. In age of 24 he moved to Sapporo, when he started to train BJJ in MMA gym. When he saw guys combining BJJ with boxing, wrestling and muay thai he was shocked, but then - he tried, and he fall in love with that new sport. As an Amateur, he won his 8 fights by way of submission and was on his way to become Amateur MMA Champion of Japan, when life stroke.
His father, who taught him art of Judo and Japanesse Jiu Jitsu, and was coaching him, died in a car accident. Hisashi moved back to Tokyo, trying to help his family. He still trained, and still wanted to start his career. When his family sitatution was on a good track again, he came back to MMA - winning next 5 bouts by way of first round submission.
