Island FC 2 Preview

ISLAND FC, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Justin Credible

Hello Tycooners and Tycoonettes, Justin Credible here bringing you a preview of Island Fc’s 2nd event, Island FC 2, another exciting card featuring another batch of up and coming talented fighters.

We start our night off with MMA royalty of sorts, Ringo Scorpion (brother of Ranky and Rico) taking on Alex Hunt.

Hunt is a brawler with a troubled past who is using MMA to get his life back on track, fighting in the underground circuit for quite some time he finally decided he has what it takes to turn professional. He has a stiff test as he’s taking on the aforementioned Ringo Scorpion.

Scorpion has some big shoes to fill, having two other brothers also fighting in MMA, as the middle child he’s had a rough road, and rocky relationship with his brothers, but he’s said on multiple occasions that if it wasn’t for them, he’d probably be sitting on the couch jerking off.

Both men are stand up fighters who swing for the fences.

I’m taking Ringo Scorpion to take this one.

Next up we have Royal Pain V.S. Hammer Radovan.

KOTB 24: Demorou!

If you like finishes, KOTB 24 was the card for you. Eight of the 10 fights on the card were finished in the first round, four in under 30 seconds and two of them in just 5 seconds. The main card itself had 10 more minutes of fight time than the rest of the entire card. Thrilling stuff, indeed.

Opening the undercard were a pair of welterweights looking for their first promotional wins, as Hawaii’s Damien Ching took on Sierra Leone’s Bartel Diakite. Ching was in desperate need for a win in this one and he came out aggressively looking to grapple. Diakite, though, would draw first blood with a beautiful takedown into side control and began mining for submissions.

Ching managed to land a nice counter sweep, but Diakite was insistent and eventually locked in a tight triangle. After a short struggle, Diakite flashed a smile knowing full well this was over - and he’d be right - a

Review - RCG 4: Hungover

Event Review: RCG 4: Hungover
Rio Chain Gang 270+

Rio Chain Gang held it's fourth event this past Saturday at Hard Knocks arena in Rio with over 2200 in attendance. The event was sponsored by merchandise partner Victory! Sports Nutrition, based out of New York. It was a very exciting night of fights, although a couple of fighters did look like they were "hungover."

The undercard began with a light heavyweight match up between Mr "HaHAhAhaHA" Joker (0-0) and George Chuvalo (4-3).

Mr Joker, who recently relocated from Gotham City to Rio, was making his MMA professional debut. Chuvalo was making his RCG debut after posting a respectable 4-3 record. Chuvalo is a very talented boxer, but is still lacking in ground skills. Mr Joker is the type of ground and pound specialist that most stand up fighters fear. Mr Joker come out aggressively and was able to take the fight to the mat almost immediately, neutralizing any advantage Chuvalo might have had. Mr Joker began mercilessly beating Chuvalo and the ref was forced to dive in and save Chuvalo after only 37 seconds. A very nice TKO victory that won Mr Joker the KO of the Night honors.

The next fight on the undercard is a heavyw
