SLAUGHTERHOUSE FIGHT NIGHT 2 REVIEW

UNDERCARD

Maui Built v Dominick Snooze – 135 lbs

As it turned out Maui Built's takedown defence was not as stellar as previously thought – Snooze took this fight to the floor time and time again over the course of this fight. Unfortunately for the watching fans, Snooze decided to go for a lay and pray strategy which admittedly did work but produced a fight which was about as entertaining as watching paint dry. For a man whose nickname is the “dominator” he did nothing of the sort here – one guillotine attempt which Built defended with ease and no ground and pound to speak of whatsoever. The referee could probably have done a better job of standing the fight up, but in all fairness when he did Snooze simply took Built back to the ground more or less immediately.

KOTB 21: Incrivel (Review)

KOTB’s first appearance on the arena stage was an absolute success Saturday night, as the promotion set new highs in ticket revenue, attendance and event ratings. Incrível also saw the resurgence of a few veteran contenders, while others went down in defeat and made way for a new era of KOTB athletes.

The crowd present for the opening fight was larger than usual, which seemed to provide a spark for the competitors involved. Malaysian muay thai sensation Jon Duangjan got things started in his lightweight showcase against Rio Branco, Brazil’s Jose Perez. Duangjan stayed on his back foot to start and countered Perez’s punches and takedown attempts with hard kicks to the legs, body and head. The striker then went on the offensive and attacked with two big punch sequences before a right-left-uppercut combination shut the lights out of his opponent. Duangjan picks up his first victory since his debut and is b

22 Dec 15 - AD321: Pray For Paris

Hey guys, Calvin Hobbes here reporting live from the almost sold out Belle Centre in Montreal. We just witnessed greatness at AD321: Pray For Paris. There were two titles on the line and some other great matchups that proved to be exciting.

In the Co-Main Event we had the Bantamweight Champion Uebishe Lesnoe defending his title for the 5th time against the challenger, Michal Kucharski. Right from the beginning, Lesnoe came out swinging, throwing all kinds of strikes at his opponent.

Kucharski was able to defend himself against most of the strikes and tried to counter a few, but ultimately wasn’t able to remain very active. This was probably the most boring fight on the card since they both missed so many shots. In the end, Uebishe Lesnoe was able to get the decision and retain his title

Winner: Uebishe Lesnoe by unanimous decision

Rio Chain Gang "Explodes Onto Scene"

Rio Chain Gang 270+, Fight Organization, Rio de Janeiro
Company profile by Alan Maynard

The Rio Chain Gang fight org held it's first event this past Saturday, and they brought more than just an action packed night of fights.

The event which had to be delayed more than two hours, started late due to a car bombing in the parking lot. There were no injuries but fighter Jumbo Mambo's car was completely destroyed. The police on the scene would not comment citing an open investigation.

A source within the department said “all though the evidence is still weak, fighter Paddy McGuiness is a prime suspect. There were six different fighters at tonights event that had the technical knowledge to pull this off, McGuiness is the only one with an obvious motive. He knew he didn't have a shot against Mambo and had a lot to lose if he didn't win the fight.”

He went on to say “we can't overlook the other suspects though. Kalle Kettu and Li Kong Ho are both known demolition men for the Aleghany crime family based on the Island while Junio

Big things coming to Hilo

Ultimate Pit Fighting (300K+ ID), Fight Organization, Hilo
Company profile by Dale Saw

Ultimate Pit Fighting, which is a fight organization located in Hilo, is currently investing over $1 million in contracts to increase their competition level. They are currently the 27th ranked org in the world.

Hopefully with this investment we can break into the top 20 then eventually the top 10. Contracts will be handed out by hype level but will be adjustable. So, if you have a fighter within the UPF's ID restriction, which is 260K+, and would like to be apart of an org that is ready to make a run at the top 10, or you want to help us with that run, then look no further than Ultimate Pit Fighting.

We keep things fun and competitive. We always offer as fair as match up as we can. We strive to put on as evenly matched cards as possible. We also have tough champions for those that want to test their skills.

Overall the UPF is the place to be in Hilo and hopefully soon, with this investment, we will really grow. Thanks Dale Saw, UPF owner.
