Greetings MMA Tycoon fans! Shtaaf Reimish here with the World Combat Championships owner and president, Jayjay Tycooner.

JJ, how's life treating you these days?

JJ- Pretty good! Things are getting a little bit anxious preparing for the WCC to move to New York once the Island season ends, but that's the way it goes!

Shtaaf - Speaking of the Island season, can you tell the readers how the season went for the WCC from an owner's perspective?

JJ- Sure Shtaaf! We started a bit late in the season, holding our first event in mid-December, but built some serious momentum as the season wore on.
By the end, we were holding up to four cards a week making sure all our fighters were fighting as much as possible before the season ran up.

We managed to climb up the world ranking as high as th

Mick Shaw's awakening

Fighter profile of Kim Shaw by Alika Webb

Dear martial arts fans, my name is Mick Shaw and I think I have a story worth telling, so I hope you'll like it.

As a kid I didn't really do anything to be honest, I just hung around most of the time. I studied enough not to fail and I didn't commit myself to anything. I was basically bored for years doing absolutely nothing, until that day. Me and my friends were on our way home after school when we saw a poster of a boxing event the next day. We bought ourselves some tickets as a joke, we really just wanted to hang around, maybe ridicule some of the boxers and just waste another night like always.

It was a small boxing event featuring local fighters nobody's heard of with only twenty people or so in attendance. Most of the fights were really bad, pretty much all the fighters looked like complete amateurs. There was one guy who was basically just slapping his opponent until he got knocked out. When the main event started I had no hopes whatsoever that I was going to get my money's worth.

All about getting PRESTIGE Event Preview: Prestige FC 4: Revange Prestige FC 2015-03-07, Tokyo, The Underground - Tokyo Author:Gustavo Corr a In Tokyo, March 7th, will happen the forth event of Kamil Krainski, Prestige 4: Revange. This Organization brings to you all the vibe from the great PRIDE FC, with the ring and the judging system of the whole fight instead of the round by round.

This upcoming event will held nothing less then THREE TITLE SHOTS, thats right, three!

Opening the hall of champions in two categories, we have: Michael Martela(2-1 in his last three fights) vs Leo Villa(2-0 in his last 2), both making their second fight in Prestige FC.
It will be the classic match-up between the grappler vs striker as Martela has 6 wins by submission and Villa got 4 by KO/TKO.

The other opening class to have its first champion is the Lightweight, with the clash: Maciej Zegan vs Riku Reipas 2. And this all about revenge.
Reipas, a red belt in BJJ defeated Zegan in the first round via Armbar Triangle in the first round of Prestige FC 2.
This time, Zegan wants to proove that his striking combined with his clichwork can defeat a Jiu-Jitsu's grand-master.

And of course, that last title on the line, the Welterweight's.
Here we have the champion, Pejro Karesky facing the newcomer Phil Harris.
Most people saw Karesky as the only force of this category and he would reign without any trouble as long as he would want to.
But Prestige FC brought some problem to its champion as Phil Harris has signed a contract and already got a shot for the title.
Let's see if

Sitdown with Doyle Hawk

Fighter profile of Doyle Hawk by Shtaaf Reimish

Welcome to New York MMA Tycoon fans! The World Combat Championship is finally off the Island and stationed in the bright lights of New York City.

I got the chance to sit down with recent WCC re-signee Doyle Hawk, who you may remember as the crowned #1 smack-talker on the Island!

And as always, Hawk did not disappoint! Enjoy! Reimish- You received the bonus for top smack-talker on the Island last season, I’m assuming you’re not done there however?

Hawk- “Bro, a champ never lets go of what he has! So no, I'm still talking shit and breaking necks!”

Reimish- You moved to Helsinki after the season was over, but now signed with the World Combat Championships back in your hometown of New York City. How has the transition off the Island gone for you so far.

Hawk- “My stupid dumbass manager accidently booked a flight to Helsinki, and I’m pissed off at him for it! But he promised a base change very soon.”

Reimish- Was there anything specific that helped make the decision to resign with the World Combat Championships?

Hawk- “To be honest, I liked the organization. Plus the pay is pretty good to so I thought ‘why not.’ Hey, I’m not the only one who likes contracts with a lot of money on them...” cont...

Eskil Eliasson fights for the little guy.

Fighter profile of Eskil Eliasson by Crissy Teranova

Hello readers.

After talking to Crissy Teranova last week i decided to take her up on the offer to meet one of her fighters.
Im meeting Eskil "Wolf" Eliasson and i would like to know more about this new fighter and how he looks at himself and his role in MMA.
Marvin - Hello Eskil. The first question i think the readers would like to hear the answer to is. How did you get into MMA?

Eskil - As you understand i got into MMA quite late. Or i feel i did as i started recently and im allready 25. But before this i did Muay Thai and i was at a MMA event and liked what i was watching.
I had a friend that was doing some MMA and i started asking around and got in contact with Crissy Teranova.
She offerd to help me out and here we are.

Marvin - In Vegas, thats nice. I have watched your last fight and you are, as far as i can see, a striker. What is your favourite move?

Eskil - Striker, yea thats fair. But i wont go into telling the world what i like and not like to do. Thats up to the guys that want to fight me to find out.
But as you said, im a striker and if i can controll a fight i wont take it to the ground. But im not an idiot, i do know how to work the ground game if i need to.

Marvin - Who is your biggest inspiration? Not limited to fighters that is.

Eskil - I come from quite a rough background in a small place called Akalla in Stockholm and my inspiration a

Heyyyy it's me again.

Our second event of this weekend was a huge one (for us)! :D A lot of knock outs but the most devastating finish was in our main event where our former 135 champ Jackson Ramos came up a weight class to challenge Taisto Anttila for his 145 belt! It was like a KO in a form of submission: Anttila shot for a takedown right after the bell rung and managed to get into side control. From there Anttila got the kimura and cranked like hell and Ramos had to tap before it even started! Craaaazy! Looked like Ramos was sleeping or something. He definately wasnt ready for this. What a rude wake up call from Anttila!
The fight between Alexy Innokenti and Micky Ward was an absolute war where both warriors bled and left everything in the cage. Innokenti who was cut and rocked in the 1st came up on top at the end and just overwhelmed Ward with different strikes. Too bad Innokenti's management has got a bit of a big head and we dont see eye to eye in things so that's why I have to let that talent go. I wish him all the best in the future thought

OTN awards were 3k a piece:

FOTN : Innokenti vs Ward

KOTN : Yu
