Malakai: Hello, and thank you very much for having me here today.

Q: First off, congratulations on your recently becoming a Featherweight champion in the Steel Penn – New York Organization! That must be very exciting for you.

Malakai: It is indeed very exciting for me, thank you! Like all fighters I assume, when I first began training in martial arts as a kid, I always wanted to earn the distinction and honor of being a champion. Now that is has come true, it has only inspired me to improve upon myself even more.

Wrenton vs Miller Preview

Event Preview: HWP: Wrenton vs Miller
Las Vegas Prizefighting
2013-11-30, Las Vegas, MMA Grand
Author:

We're back for another great card of action at Heavyweight Prize fighting with Saturday night's HWP: Wrenton vs Miller. Reader beware, this one is unsafe for soft hearts. The irony of names has been built this card is absolutely overwhelming for most people who have found the time to run into MMAtycoon to begin with. Speaking of names, we must expound on the fighters that have brought the excitement to HWP to begin with, and by that im not speaking of Sasha Grey... yet.

First off, we want to give a moment of silence to the late Tiny Butterbritches who unfortunately passed away from an Over-enlarged belly. The autopsy also reported he had a very high blood-twinkie levels seven times the legal limit and that his last meal was some sort of “ice cream fried doughnut mountain-sized cheeseburger” that was the straw that broke

Tom Quin Q&A

Fighter profile of Shogun Iron Tyson by Alika Webb

Q: Dear martial arts fans for the past 2 editions of the Tycoon Times I’ve had interviews with Tom Quin. The 18 year old prospect from Holland talked about competing in a tournament to crown the BEEF’s 145 champion. Last time we talked about the company formerly known as the LFC changing hands and got renamed BEEF – Bodies Engaged in Extreme Fighting. Now last time we didn’t get to talk about your opponent. But I really want to know what your take is on Walter White.

Tom: We’re all prospects trying to make a name for ourselves. You can’t have anything but respect for all those guys.

Q: You say that now but just after our last interview you made a public statement and called out your opponent Walter White.

“@Walter White: it's no secret you're gonna try to take me down but I can assure you it won't work. You wanna know why? Because I am better than you! On our feet, in the clinch o

ECT announces partnership with Dominance

Editorial by James Listerman

Elite Canadian Threads in Montreal is proud to announce it's partnership with the fight organization Dominance, based in New York.

President of ECT, James Listerman, was tweeting about this earlier this week. We sat down with him for a quick interview, and he pointed out, "It's been really great here at ECT in the past months, so we decided to partner up with Dominance, to help us grow even more". He also added, "I've been following the organization for quite a while, and I thought we could be a good addition to them."   The Montreal clothing store will be offering all kind of prizes to fighters contracted to Dominance, but nothing concrete has been unveiled just yet. All we know is that all fighters receiving "of the night" awards, will be rewarded with cash prizes and/or clothing from the store.    As Elite Canadian Threads continues to grow, new types of clothing will be made available inside the store. They also accept clothing suggestions and requests, but will not

GAMMA HOF Inductions

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

GAMMA is proud to announce 2 new Hall of Fame inductions.

With the 3rd most events held in history, with over 4 years consistently in the top 20 among organizations, it is no surprise that GAMMA has had some of the top fighters in the game. Today we honor 2 of those which have retired probably at their prime.

Keith Green (129720) 17 total GAMMA fights. Myltiple defending champion at 185lbs, prevailing at a time when the 185lbs division was probably at its deepest including fighters such as Raz Matazz, Tank The Razors Edge, Doc Thomas, Fred Ettish, Usain Watts among others. Briefly lost his title to Frank Sinatra to regain it in the next fight. His last fight was a super fight win over Nero Aurelius. He never got his dream of fighting Igor Glozman, a fighter which gave him an early loss due to Igor retiring due to failed chin late in his career. Retired while ranking inside the top 100 p4p due to manager issues at just 29y of age.

Fidel Duberry (125586) 22 total fights for GAMMA including super fights and our contenders org. Was with us since 2012-02-11 till 2013-11-23 faced some of the biggest names in the sport, here are just some of his to 100 p4p opponents: Kyle Carlton, Anton Chigurh, Simon Williams, Maksimilian Tchepikov, Buster Grimes, Donzel Fortunado, Kenichi Shirahama, Ben Grimm and the list goes on. He is a 3 time defending GAMMA 265lbs champion, ranked inside the top 100 p4p. Retired very early (30y) mainly due to his manager taking a hiatus from the game. An all time GAMMA legend.

Note: Although we have had 2 pre-retirement inductions to our HOF (Raz Matazz and Jack Burton), all previous inductions have happened only after the fighter was officially retired from the game.

Fighter profile of Patrick McWhiskey by James Listerman

http://www.mmatycoon.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=39501&p=483366

Tonight on MMA Hype, Elvis Frost dropped by our studio and had a quick chat with our host, Brett Clarke. Elvis won his first title fight at the age of 25, and believe it or not, never lost a championship fight. He’s currently the LFNC champion of 2 divisions (LHW and HW), and is looking to become the Light Heavyweight fighter of the year, in the EVO tournament.

Elvis Frost has been generating a lot of interest all around the Tycoon community lately, so I hope you guys will enjoy the short time we had with him.

Here is the uncensored interview.

Brett Clarke: Thanks for being here today, hope all is well with you.

First question, have you given more thoughts about where you would sign after the EVO tournament, or is this still work in progress?

Elvis Frost: I don't worry bout all the blather.  Right now I am under contract with EVO.

Brett: Are you confident of your next fight against Doppo Orochi? I mean, this fight should be a really entertaining slugfest!

Elvis: I'm always confident lad, and I always appreciate a good ole fashion slugfest!

Brett: You have 2 losses on your record, and the first one, against Xiomar Halo, is yet to be avenged. Do you feel like you should avenge that fight, knowing he’s still an active fighter, or have you moved past this loss?

Elvis: Cop on!  I will in me ring back down from no man, especially no queer hawk. He got jammy that one. Of course I want bloody revenge, losing to that wanker was a puck.  You seen the big ole man knockers on that fella?  Bigger than me Ma's.  When I lost to Halo I lived in the boozer wi

MMA Hype signs undisclosed deal with Ascension

Editorial by James Listerman

That’s right tycooners, MMA Hype has been in negotiation with Ascension in the past days, and they finally came to terms a few hours ago.

MMA Hype recently bought a studio in Los Angeles, where they hosted Ascension’s LHW tournament’s Press Conference, on Monday night. Rumors started to flow around that a possible partnership was to be made between them, but nothing really came concrete about it.

Earlier today, James Listerman, MMA Hype’s CEO, addressed the medias about Ascension’s offer. “They (Ascension) gave us the opportunity to host a press conference and we were glad to do it. I sat down with Luan (Ascension’s CEO) and we discussed about a possible partnership between us. That’s all I can say for now”.

Listerman confirmed later on Twitter that the deal was done, and that MMA Hype was officially in charge of the future press conferences of Ascension’s events.

The MMA Hype team wanted to let the fans know that they will keep doing what they currently do, this means that the fighter interviews will still happen, and nothing will change. Brett and Jared will always be there for you all, you can count on them!

Shinji Oyama :Tokyo Prospect

Fighter profile of Shinji Oyama by Jim Powers

When you ask MMA Fight manager Jim Powers of his star pupil Shinji Oyama he will tell you that he is like no one you have ever seen before. As a youngin , Shinji Was an only child of two fairly poor parents in Tokyo by the time he was 7 he devloped a short temper and was constantly fighting other kids. His parents enrolled him in a local BJJ class and he quickly adapted. By age 13 Oyama was only a blue belt in BJJ as his master was a strict one ane rarely gave out belts. Shinji went on to win Grappling contests in Japan and even World Competetions. By age 20 he was still short tempered and decided to take wrestling at the local Submission Wrestling gym, This allowed him to mix his BJJ with Wrestling , Soon enough his Coaches insisted he get into MMA.

Although the (now) 24 year old BJJ wizard is still relatively new to the sports, He has racked up a 2-0-0 with QFC both coming via submission. The Japanase Prodigy was recenly awarded his Brown belt in both Brazilian Jiu jitsu and No-gi Jitsu.

Oyama has found financial succes early on as he is both signed and sponsered. Shinji is taking on the part of a bad boy trash talker in the Tokyo Region of MMA so whether it's hype or pure talent is hard to tell as he has faced novel competitors and only has a hand full of mma expereince
