GAMMA#464 Custer v Trudeau 3

Review By Kim Jong-un "The Screamun Koreaun"

On 21 Feb, 2015, Mentor Corleone (3503) the Owner of the incredible GAMMA (Global Association of MMA) Organization, presented GAMMA#464 Custer v Trudeau 3 (822789). This event, located at the Wombley Arena here in London, England, is proudly sponsored by GREEN!160 based in Las Vegas. Attendance of 92,201 rambuctious and noisy fight fans, was thunderous to say the least and the additional 210,709 Pay-Per-Viewers brought the total to 302,910 fans who saw this event. This event hosted two Title fights; at 185 pounds between Arthur Curry and Charlie Murphy and; at 205 pounds between Jesse Custer and Pierre Trudeau. This action-packed event had 10 fights resulting in 2 decisions and 8 men laid out on the floor. Kim Jong-un, "The Screamun Koreaun" here to walk you through the "glorious butt-whuppings". All the gory details can be found at http://www.mmatycoon.com/orgeventpublic.php?EvID=822789

185 lbs division fight between Craig Rave (78157) and Nigel "The Spoon" McHughes (154144)

The fight was well matched and the fight stats show McHughes with a slight edge in the standup....but Rave was taking him down and landed enough ground and pound to pull the victory. The judges all saw a close fight and scored it 29:28 in favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Craig Rave!

145 lbs division fight between "CRUSHER" Tatsuya Kawajiri (176888) and Sooper "Dooper" Mann (190661)

The fight started badly for Mann who was rocked and then knocked down in the 1st minute. But to his credit he toughed it out the next 4+ minutes and finished that round on his feet. 2nd round, was close with both men going at it like cats and dogs, and the crowd was on thier feet most the round, but it was likely Kawajiri's round. 3rd round, Kawajiri plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo wearing his kryptonite gloves and sends Sooper Mann swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Sooper Mann "face plants" and it over! WAAAHAAAA! Thats what I'm talkin about ! WAAAHAAAA!!!!

Results: In only 5 seconds of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tatsuya Kawajiri!

145 lbs division fight between "The Whoreson" Lik Alotadik (161997) and Jeff Gorden (143166)

Round 1 was a good round for both fighters but Gordon seemed more dominate due to landing more punches. But this fight was not about punches, it was about kicks. Alotadik came out kicking in the 2nd round and put Gordon down with a head kick seconds into the round. He waved Gordon to his feet and before the 1st minute was up, he head kicked him again and then seconds later, kicked his legs out from under him. When Gordon got up and tried a revenge kick, Alotadik dropped him with another brutal head kick and the referee jumped it to stop it. As much kicking was going on I suspect Alotadik had 3 legs going (pun intended)....WAAHAAAA !

Results: After 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lik Alotadik!

205 lbs division fight between Mertsi "Teufel Jr" Peltola (177993) and Marko Torturo (54639)

Known for his ability to go the distance, Torturo is a standup fighter with over half his victories by decision. Peltola has a black belt in BJJ and has earned 9 submissions with his BJJ skills, but he has a cracked glass chin and has been knocked out 13 times....OH...make that 14. Seems Peltola wanted to change his fight style and only tried (and got) 1 takedown and attempted a couple submissions. The rest of the fight was standing and while Peltola did well in the punching he had no kicks like Torturo did. And in the clinch it was ALL Turturo. Apparently after 2 rounds of sparring practice, Torturo decided he needed a shower and in the 3rd round came out and quickly ended it with a brutal uppercut that knocked Peltola out before he hit the floor! WAAHAAAA ! Not that great of a fight but a LOVELY ending !

Results: After 0:21 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Marko Torturo!

205 lbs division fight between James "Jimmy" Holmes (151992) and "Riiviö" Pyry Perkele (178394)

Holmes landed ONE strike in the fight. And that pretty much tells you how things went. Whats that? You want to hear the gory details of a nasty beatdown? Ok here you go... 3 1/2 minutes into the 1st round a head kick lands from Perkele that sends Holmes to the canvas and cuts him. Bleeding all over the referee and the entire ring and leaking what looked like intestines, the hapless Holmes made it to the bell. In round 2, Holmes managed to last 1 1/2 minutes before Perkele throws a perfectly timed hook and sends Holmes spiraling down to crash into the mat. Holmes tries to stagger back to his feet but Perkele just hammers him until the ref stops the fight. There ya go ya blood-thirsty bunch !

Results: After 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pyry Perkele!

205 lbs division fight between Ted Stefans (182837) and Jaako Meritähti (226114)

The 1st round seemed pretty normal and both men were throwing strikes and landing, although Stefans was throwing more and landing a LOT more... The 2nd round about 30 seconds in, Meritähti threw a right hand and Stefans counters with a nice uppercut which rocked Meritähti. But he recovers and they continue to throw strikes and even land some. About a minute later Stefans lands a big uppercut and Meritähti crumbles to the floor! But he quickly recovers and they go at it again. Just before the 4 minute mark, Stefans sends Meritähti crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut and motions to the referee to let Meritähti up. They again mix it up and just in the last seconds of the round, Meritähti looks up at the clock and Stefans lands a right hand from hell, dropping Meritähti AGAIN. Stefans pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows. Now this was a great fight but the key to victory (besides the power of Stefans) was the accuracy of Stefans. Stefans connected 56% of his strikes versus Meritähti connecting only 24% of his. If there had been no knockout the accuracy issue would of easily carried the win.

Results: After 4:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ted Stefans!

145 lbs division fight between Yuri Boyka (34136) and "The Balled Of" Speedy Atkins (175107)

This fight was all ACTION and we are talkin 278 strikes thrown kind action. Hell I thought it was 2 windmills fighting.... Atkins having a black belt in BJJ surprised me by attempting ZERO takedowns although he did get 3 clinches (with 14 attempts) And at the same token Boyka the elite wrestler attempted ZERO takedowns. Strangely the 2 warriors stood and duked it out and when the dust settled it was Boyka whose fan blades landed the most, earning him the decision.

Results: In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Yuri Boyka!

265+ lbs division fight between Billy Bob (181877) and Kieron "The Chief" Radebe (183758)

Before I hurt anyones feelings I should commend Billy Bob for stepping up a bit and taking a fight against a fighter who out ranked him so much. And with both fighters having virtually identical records and both being knock out fighters I was DROOLING to see this fight! There is just something I have against the sound of a final bell i guess, so I slobber over the possability of a knockout...The two men had a total of 42 fights between them and of that, only 3 had NOT ended in a knockout...so like a shark I could just SMELL a knockout in the air.... Sadly Billy Bob tried to get tricky and instead of working strikes and hoping to get a knockout, he spent an enormous amount of time and energy working 31 takedown attempts (getting ONE) and only made 2 strike attempts landing just 1. And you simply dont have much chance of winning like that. So with nothing to fear, Radebe with the Thai clinch, unleashed a brutal knee to the head and drops Bob to the mat in a crumpled heap!

Results: after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Kieron Radebe! Kieron Radebe was awarded "KO of the night".

185 lbs TITLE fight between "King of the Seven Seas" Arthur Curry (92326) and Charlie "Darkness" Murphy (152460)

The Champion, Arthur Curry, had a record of 46-18-0. Curry is a sensational standup fighter with 34 (T)KOs to his credit and is on an 8 win streak.

The Challenger, Charlie Murphy had a record of 22-12-0. Murphy is an elite Muay Thai fighter with 12 (T)KOs on his record and has won his last 2 fights.

The fight: Round 1 had both fighters on the attack, throwing and landing strikes, and in general putting on a great show. Round 2 they got more defensive and both men were missing a LOT of their strikes due to defensive focus. Both rounds were taken by Murphy. Round 3 started with Curry landing several shots and then Murphy took over and just started thumpin that a$$. Around 2 minutes into the round Curry throws a wild hook which Murphy ducked under and right into a big head kick that sends him tumbling to the mat! Curry waves Murphy back to his feet and Murphy is on wobbley legs. Curry carefully waits and suddenly counters a wild Murphy right hand, with a big left that crumples Murphy! He was out before he hit the floor! WAAAHAAAA !!! Yes ! Thats a SWEET shot. WAAAHAAAA !

Results: After 1:51 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arthur Curry! Arthur Curry retains his middleweight title! This fight received the "Fight of the night" award.

205 lbs TITLE fight between "Preacher" Jesse Custer (183716) and "The Purple Stripe" Pierre Trudeau (113658)

The Champion, Jesse Custer, had a record of 26-5-1. He is a well rounded fighter with 15 knockouts and 4 submissions to his credit.

The Challenger, Pierre Trudeau, had a record of 30-13-2. He is a elite ground fighter and has 23 knockouts to his credit.

They say third time is a charm...but who will get charmed? These 2 wariors have met twice before and the 1st time it was Custer winning by TKO due to strikes. The 2nd time they met was just last Jan 31st, ending in a majority draw. So tonights fight is a "Part 3". So we are gonna call this Round 6, seconds into the fight, Trudeau is cut, not good. Custer with alot of kicking and Trudeau trying to clinch, but Custer is having none of that clinch stuff. Custer lands a left hand and opens Trudeau's cut even more. Easily Custers round. Round 7, Custer is administering a beating and Trudeau trying to clinch so he can avoid the long range artillery. But the shells keep landing and the 2nd Trudeau clinch attempt, Custer counters with a takedown. Custer is throwing ground and pound, and Trudeau is defending nicely but some shots are getting in. Suddenly Custer slips a nice elbow through Trudeau's hands, connecting with Trudeau's forehead and busts that cut wide open and blood is going everywhere. The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pierre Trudeau's cut, and itsssss OVER. WAAHAAAA !

Results: after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jesse Custer! Jesse Custer retains his light heavyweight title!

Well ladies and gentlemen...I hate to fart and run...but discretion is the better part of valor... This is Kim Jong-un (102643) "The Screamun Koreaun" saying "WAA choke gasp WA HAAA choke...damn...HAAA !!!! Good nite!
