Grimes isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brandals stacks Grimes on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brandals!

Brandals feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Grimes sprawling to the canvas! Grimes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brandals finish him?!

It looks like Hosea Grimes has been cut.
Brandals lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Grimes up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Brandals from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Grimes's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Grimes is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Lopez moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Villon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Grimes looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Villon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Nielsen. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Horrible takedown attempt by Spears or perhaps it was just good defense by Nielsen, which made it look bad.

Well Nielsen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
