170lbs: Otavio Madruga vs Heribert Bosch

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14534947581078.png vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/25/25w3.jpg

Age: 24 Age: 24

Height: 189 cm Height: 182 cm

Weight: 179 lbs Weight: 175 lbs

Record: 9-2-0 (WWWLL) Record: 10-3-0 (WWLWW)

Pre:

A confident performance against James Darren resulting in a unanimous decision victory at Aspire 39 for Otavio Madruga adding to a string of victories earned during his run at the now defunct Revolution XC, a former StrikeForce Union 170lbs champion with a quality of training matched by few at the Amsterdam-based Wilder MMA, it is perhaps Otavio's world-class striking ability that sets him apart from the pack with a power usually reserved for a heavyweight delivered with the speed of a middleweight providing an explosive combination.

His opponent tonight coming off a two fight decision streak having taken former 170lbs champion Dum Debble to task on his Aspire MMA debut at Aspire 41 earning a fight of the night bonus for his trouble, credited as a key player in the growing interest in MMA across Germany following his guest reality tv appearance on the long-running series Bavarian Bachelor training contestants for unique sports-based challenges and imparting wise words of MMA based knowledge to the contestants scoring favourably with key demographics and securing himself a recurring role in the show.

Fight:

Bosch able to deliver a heavy hand from the clinch early that left Madrugua cut open across his left eyelid causing him significant discomfort and impaired vision that left the referee constantly second-guessing his choice to allow this fight to continue in what amounted to a comfortable decision victory for the star of the hit "Bavarian Bachelor" tv show, Heribert Bosch decisively showcased his talents against an Otavio Madruga who never seemed to get into his stride following that initial exchange with Bosch happy to stalk his opponent in and out of the clinch picking his shots and never over-committing.

Serious questions may have been levied against the referee for allowing the fight to proceed if it weren't for a stiff jab delivered by Madruga in the closing minute of the first round that left Bosch with an equally determinantal cut evening up the odds and giving the referee confidence to allow the second and third rounds to go ahead.

Winner - Heribert Bosch by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 70%

185lbs: Dustin Anderson vs Kiovani Aro

Height: 179 cm Height: 187 cm

Weight: 187 lbs Weight: 193 lbs

Record: 7-2-0 (WLLWW) Record: 9-3-0 (WWWWL)

Pre:

His opponent tonight is Dignity! veteran Dustin Anderson fresh off the back of his TKO(Strikes) destruction of Deontay Hunter at D50 Warrior v Saarelaine back in May 2017, with his world-class wrestling base and heavy hands providing him five (T)KO victories over ten professional bouts you can expect Anderson to look to make an instant impact on his Aspire MMA debut.

Fight:

Kiovani drops a heavy leg strike on Anderson who looks to return fire with a jab that is too slow to find it's target as Kiovani display's exceptional striking defence before throwing a stiff jab of his own that found it's range, popping Anderson under the eye. Anderson responding rushes forward and instigates a clinch before loading up a series of body shots that Kiovani continued to defend well, answering the call Kiovani fired back with a short right followed by a good tight uppercut that created enough space to pose a danger to Anderson who heeded the call of his corner to break from the position, faking high and swinging low Anderson failed to hit his target with Kiovani delivering a big shot that snapped Anderson's head back as the crowd cheered in appreciation.

Anderson again moving in for the clinch with Kiovani looking to unload but finding nothing but gloves as Anderson now on the defensive looking to avoid some big knee's Kiovani was trying to deliver, a series of stiff shots by Kiovani have left Anderson rocked on his feet but still responsive as he deflects and incoming uppercut but his legs are still all over the place! Anderson showing the heart of a champion to come back from this and is now throwing some big shots but Kiovani is able to stay just ahead of the storm.

Aro pushes Anderson against the cage. Aro is working some dirty boxing. Aro pushes off with a quick right hook! Anderson goes down! Anderson tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Aro moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Winner - Kiovani Aro by way TKO(Strikes) : Fight Rating 50%

145lbs: Don Gotti vs Mads Nordskov

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14829508804499.png vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/20/20w1.jpg

Age: 23 Age: 24

Height: 175 cm Height: 171 cm

Weight: 152 lbs Weight: 138 lbs

Record: 9-4-1 (WLWLL) Record: 8-1-0 (WWWWW)

Pre:

Questions raised during Don Gotti's Aspire MMA debut loss against Takeshi Hashimoto at Aspire 36 were soon put to rest when he soundly defeated top contender Michael Kristian via Kimura submission at Aspire 41, since then Don would be fogiven for feeling smug as internet trolls and MMA columnists alike were forced to eat humble pie, looking to not give them another reason to hound him once more he will be wanting to put in a solid perfomance in his up-coming fight having spent time with Kings Of Cage 135lbs champion Otto Tjack drilling his strikeing defense acordding to inside sources.

Helsinki produces some of the toughest men on the planet and Mads Nordskov fits the bill perfectly with his impressive eight and one record with his only career loss registered against current SFU 135lbs champion Takeo "Ronin" Nagasaki managed by world leading manager David Brent, outside of that incident Nordskov has decimated every opponet put infront of him and is currently on a six fight win streak on a trajectory for the top of the division, with the Don standing in his way Nordskov was quoted outside his estate last week stating "Don Gotti's alright, he's a big deal in The Bronx, I'm a big deal globally, who's the real Godfather?" before getting into his recently purchased Maybach 62 and driving off to training.

Fight:

Gotti smashes his opponent with two crisp jabs as he slips to the left before delivering a stinging right hand-left hook combination that put Nordskov on notice, immediately firing back with a shot of his own before pushing forward with a failed leg strike that allowed Gotti to secure a takedown into side control, looking to control the action Gotti slowed down the pace preventing Nordskov from improving his position as both fighters pressed up against the cage looked to find space, Gotti looks like he's trying to secure a kimura but may just be using it as a distraction to improve his situation, the referee is looking at this as stalling and has warned both fighters to get active, failing to adhere to the referee's demands the fight has been returned to the feet.

Gotti almost in defiance of the referee quickly returns the fight to the ground with a successful takedown attempt and resumes his policy of control displaying a significant strength advantage over Nordskov as he looked for an elusive submission attempt to close out the round from the dominant position, most likely securing the round for Gotti.

Nordskov closing the distance and eating a jab for his troubles to kick start the second round, nicely dodging a combination from Gotti, Nordskov eats another jab but manages to return fire with a nice two punch combination that looked like it hurt, Gotti seems to be getting more frustrated by the second and slips under another jab before reigning down a monstrous right that failed to land, Gotti now on the defensive as Nordskov really steps it up a gear picking his shots and scoring repeatedly with stiff leg strikes that are really starting to take its toll on Gotti. Desperate to find a way to the ground Gotti put all his willpower into doing just that securing a takedown into half guard before executing a beautiful butterfly sweep into the top position, despite his best efforts Nordskov clearly took that round.

All but depleted from the previous rounds gruelling onslaught Gotti looked gaunt as the third round began, Nordskov's corner can be audibly heard telling him to take his time, patiently pick his shots and wait for Gotti to fall but Gotti is made of sterner stuff and is determined to gut this out pushing forward eating shots as he throws big combination counter strikes looking to secure the finish but over time Nordskov is able to wear him down to a punishing unanimous decision victory for Mads Nordskov.

155lbs: Heng Jiang vs Kai Yamaguchi

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/6/6w21.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14480436915295.png

Age: 25 Age: 25

Height: 174 cm Height: 176 cm

Weight: 161 lbs Weight: 167 lbs

Record: 11-7-0 (WWLLL) Record: 10-3-0 (WWWWW)

Pre:

It's China vs Japan as Heng Jiang from Bejing, China takes on Japanese superstar Kai Yamaguchi in a bout said to be adding fuel to the increased interest in MMA in the Asian markets amongst speculation that Hollyweird Studio's has greenlit an animated manga series set in an ancient Asian land. With both cultures represented alongside friendly battle ready animals named AspireMon's who compete in MMA style tournaments to find out "who is the very best, like no-one ever was", traveling across the land searching far and wide for these MMA critters fans of the show will be introduced to MMA maneuvers and terminology in the hopes today's children can be "educated" into becoming the next generation of MMA fans! the ethics of the show have been brought into question with several key Chinese tv-stations already refusing to negotiate distribution deals but with the rise of the internet, this may be a minor bump in the road.

Kai Yamaguchi is on a five-fight win streak having achieved a record of ten victories in thirteen fights, his career losses are to the very best the industry has to offer, Aspire 145lbs champion Riff McGee, Aspire 155lbs champion Bonerz McGee and former Dignity! champion Remy Jacquard. With little exception, Yamaguchi has dominated his opponents and put Japanese MMA on the map in the process, with the potential to go all the way to the title Yamaguchi is one of the most exciting prospects in the entire ID range.

A huge manga fan and voice of the show's main character Rica Matsumoto, "Jawbreaker" Heng Jiang was only too happy to join the panel of the Shanghai Comic Con last week to discuss details of the show alongside producers, when challenged as to why the show had decided to cast a none-Japanese native to play the clearly Japanese-inspired villain in the show, in what fans in attendance called a "whitewash" fellow roster mate Kai Yamaguchi's name was put forward as a potential alternative, in response Heng Jiang is said to have dismissed the request stating "He has the personality of a potato, have you met that guy? I met him at the Aspire BBQ a couple weeks, it was that bad kid, next question".

In response to this incident CEO Adam Holland issued a press statement stating "Aspire MMA respect's and appreciates all of our fans globally and particular in the Asian market, our attempts to bring our product to a wider audience by both film, television and the unprecedented scale of our social media contributions are all done in the best of intentions in the hopes of increasing the awareness of our great spot, it is our hope that fans of all countries and cultures feel inclusive in that process, the casting of a none-Japanese native in a Japanese role was a clear oversight of the beliefs and fundamental principles our organisation is founded on and I have been in contact with Hollyweird Studio's today to confirm that our very own Kai Yamaguchi will, in fact, be starting alongside Heng Jiang as the voice actor for our AspireMon main villain Yūko Kobayashi, not only that folks but we want to make this one right so we are going to put Heng Jiang in the cage with Kai Yamaguchi at Aspire 45 and hold on I'm not done yet folks, I love Asia so much I'm going to bring Aspire MMA right to the Tokyo Dome for Aspire 50: Eye of the World" this news was greeted by fans online with open arms and much applause.

Fight:

Yamaguchi fails to land a big left as Jiang defends well but scores on the second coming dipping low to crack Jiang with a nice uppercut before following up with a stiff leg strike and a jab to the nose, another left from Yamaguchi has Jiang considering his options, sizing up the possibility of a takedown Jiang resets his feet but find himself on the end of a big right from Yamaguchi, intent on closing the distance Jiang pushed into the clinch and began to try and employ his powerful knee's against a struggling Yamaguchi who at this point is looking for a way out of the clinch at all costs, summoning the strength to break the position Yamaguchi returns to range and unloads a series of powerful shots that scored well with the judges, Jiang connects with a nice leg kick before once again instigating the clinch pushing Yamaguchi all the way from the middle of the cage right up against the mesh and sets about setting up some big time knees that seem to have been deflected.

Yamaguchi's doing well landing numerous stiff short shots to the inside head as Jiang begins to breath heavily, spending much of his time trying to deliver a knockout shot while Yamaguchi continues to pick away at the problem shot for shot in a more defensive manner, as the round comes to a close Yamaguchi springs to life swinging wildly for the final minute of the round scoring well with the judges and most likely getting the nod for the round.

Jiang out with a failed head kick as both men circle around each other seeking out their optimal ranges, Yamaguchi landing a nice kick to the body, Jiang shrugging off the pain as Yamaguchi hits again with a big head shot followed up by a nice hook to the body and a bigger right hand as Jiang shoots in unsuccessfully for the takedown, Yamaguchi seem's content to sit back and make use of his jab as Jiang continues to try and press forward eating shots as he does, out of nowhere Yamaguchi has an explosion of enthusiasm as he throws Jiang back against the cage and unloads with some big shots that have the referee watching carefully to see if Jiang is defending intelligently, he is. Jiang digging deep displaying great courage to soldier forward as he looks for a big counter to finish the fight but Yamaguchi has connected with a good right hand that's stumbled Jiang and left him rocked. Yamaguchi drops Jiang with a huge uppercut! Jiang drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Yamaguchi is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

145lbs: Misha Collins vs Michael Kristian

Age: 26 Age: 25

Height: 167 cm Height: 167 cm

Weight: 148 lbs Weight: 153 lbs

Record: 12-7-0 (LWWLL) Record: 11-4-1 (LLWWW)

Pre:

A debut loss against Aspire 145lbs champion Riff McGee did nothing to stall the popularity of Michael Kristian the former StrikeForce Union 145lbs champion, having earned the respect of the fans during his five successful title defences it was clear his loyal fanbase was not deterred by the KO(Punch) loss at Aspire 34, going on to find defeat at the hands of Don Gotii at Aspire 41, however, was another matter, alarm bells rang across social media and Kristian himself took note, taking the advice of MMA Helsinki 205lbs mainstay Sammy "The Murderer" Gravano to switch up his training and join him at the Red Tri-Angle Gym operating out of London, England. Kristian is said to feel like a new man going into tonight bout having spent the majority of his camp going back to basics and working heavily on his ground defence.

Misha Collins debuted at Aspire 32 to great anticipation and managed to secure a majority decision victories against top contender "xXx" Michail Podolski, since then he has picked up a submission(arm triangle) loss against exceptional BJJ practitioner Rollo Gracie and is said to be keen to avenge that loss in the future, the road back to the top starts here.

Fight:

Collins made no secret of his desire to take this fight to the ground trying at every opportunity as Kristian connected with a string of stiff counter shots, eventually successful in dragging Kristian to the ground Collins, working in some ground and pound Collins looked to try and pass guard but Kristian defended his position well securing a reversal to the top position, perhaps unwittingly as Collins is lethal from his back and looked for multiple close submissions keeping Kristian under constant pressure. Eventually following a lul in the action the referee returned the fight to the standing position and both fighters exchanged strikes to close out the round with Kristian most likely securing the nod for his early round aggression.

Collins lands a stiff jab to open up the second round as Kristian looks to land a leg strike but Collins swiftly moves out of the way before blocking a follow-up body kick, Kristian about to counter changes his mind only to be caught off guard by Collins who drives a takedown despite Kristian sprawling to the best of his abilities, Kristian defends kimura well as Collins continues to apply pressure, Collins is looking to advance his position but Kristian has created just enough space to slip out and back to his feet. Landing with a stiff right to the head Kristian is looking good on his feet as he launches into a series of strikes that leave Collins breathing heavy, forcing the fight into the clinch to see out the remainder of the round strong for Kristian.

More aggressive in the third and final round Kristian able to prevent Collins from taking the fight to the ground was able to dominate the final round with well placed significant strikes that scored well with both the fans and the judges as Collins continued to unsuccessfully attempt a takedown with Kristian returning to his earlier strategy of heavy counter shots with every attempt before moving into the clinch briefly towards the end of the round focused on controlling Collins late-round resurgence, finally successful in dragging the fight to the ground Collins had one last shot at victory but was unable to capitalise on the situation leading to a unanimous decision victory for Michael Kristian.

Winner - Michael Kristian by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 56%

Pre:

Keith Bishop will be looking to bounce back from his Aspire 38 loss to Dimitri Zaitsev for the vacated Aspire 265lbs title via TKO(Cut) following the fourth re-opening of a nasty wound that required serious medical attention with reports suggesting Bishop underwent experimental tissue surgery to improve the strength of the tissue and reduce the risk of future issues.

James Daniel "The Bass" Kennamer is no stranger to big time fights having taken on the biggest names Aspire MMA has to offer with notable fights against former champion Huell Babineaux at Aspire 27 and top contender Sendou Kitano at Aspire 39 will undoubtedly be looking at this fight as an opportunity to reset his recent fortunes and return to the four-fight win streak he held between Aspire 11 and Aspire 24 with immediate effect.

Fight:

Kennamer misses with a right hand and is quickly countered by Bishop with a crisp hook to the side of the head that's left Kennamer cut across his right temple area, Bishop smelling the blood lunges forward and scores with a crushing uppercut that skims his opponent's chin before slipping a retaliatory strike from Kennamer. In danger now Kennamer look's to take the fight to the ground but fails to secure a takedown, Bishop counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Fight:

Rackham landing some nice counters early on before quickly moving the fight into the clinch, Soares able to score a blind hook that left Rackham under his left eye as Soares follows up with a nice shot to the side of the head that seemed to snap Rackham back to his senses who proceeded to unload with a series of strikes that put Soares firmly on the defensive, from that point forward Rackham was firmly in control landing at desire as Soares did his best to stay active in the fight with the referee paying close attention to his defensive abilities throughout, Rackham firmly securing the first and second rounds.

Out for the third round and Rackham has countered with a straight right rocking Soares before following up with a number of significant strikes that left Soares in a world of trouble, Rackham closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Soares! Rackham dives in looking to finish! Soares is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Bonerz McGee - Champions Spotlight:
Aspire's Lightweight Champion Bonerz McGee had a rocky start to his amateur career. He lost his debut, and went on to a mediocre 2-2 in the quickfight championships. He then tapped out in under five minutes at his lone Tycoon World Grappling Championships showing, exposing McGee's weak ground game. For a lot of fighters, such a rough start would have meant an early end to a career in the cage. Luckily for McGee, longtime manager Bear Stevenson, a grizzled veteran of over a thousand fights, saw potential and promise in the young fighter. Neither was disappointed.
After taking a long time off to reassess his strategy and sharpen his skills at Montreal's Hey Steve's Fight Shack, McGee returned to the cage a new man. At CEFC 202, he showcased these new skills in his pro debut, a brutal demasculation of the unsuspecting Joey Troublefield.

155lbs : Joey Troublefield

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/20/20w21.jpg

Age: 24

Height: 179 cm

Weight: 166 lbs

Record: 3-1-0 (WWWL-)

"McGee lands a big shot that drops Troublefield! Can he finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McGee arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Troublefield's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots! "

155lbs : Ryan McCarthy

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14334428473691.gif

Age: 23

Height: 185 cm

Weight: 160 lbs

Record: 4-4-1 (WWLLW)

Since then, McGee has razed the landscape on his way to the top of the Aspire lightweight division. We already knew about his brutal knockout power:
"McGee throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! McCarthy crumples to the floor and the fight is over!"

155lbs : Jim Lahey

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/24/24b10.jpg

Age: 25

Height: 177 cm

Weight: 163 lbs

Record: 5-13-0 (LLLLL)

"McGee dips a shoulder and cracks Lahey with a mighty uppercut! Lahey falls back against the cage and McGee unloads with a barrage of strikes! Lahey is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually, the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - McGee screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!"

155lbs : Kai Yamaguchi

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14480436915295.png

Age: 22

Height: 176 cm

Weight: 167 lbs

Record: 5-1-0 (WWWWL)

His exciting, super aggressive style and penchant for highlight-reel finishes quickly endeared him to the fans, but critics would still question his ability and willpower to survive against a strong grappler. These questions were violently laid to rest at Bravado 13, when he repeatedly took down BJJ brown belt Kai Yamaguchi, eventually catching Yamaguchi in a tight guillotine in the latter's second career loss.
"Yamaguchi content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because McGee has locked up a guillotine! McGee's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Yamaguchi is holding on here and McGee must be using up a lot of energy. Yamaguchi has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! McGee gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission! "

155lbs : Fujii Yusuke

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14531149387070.png

Age: 23

Height: 178 cm

Weight: 160 lbs

Record: 5-3-0 (WWLWW)

And then again at Just Bleed 30, he silenced those doubts forever by submitting Jiu Jitsu black belt Fujii Yusuke.
"McGee has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Yusuke should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, McGee has tightened it up now! Yusuke should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!"

155lbs : Vinicius Costa

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14752924252237.jpg

Age: 31

Height: 182 cm

Weight: 155 lbs

Record: 13-4-0 (WWWWW)

With a well-rounded skill set, McGee knocks out fighters with iron chins and submits fighters who have logged in countless hours on the mat. Undefeated since turning pro, only three men have ever managed to survive to the judges' decision in a contest with McGee. He is always on the attack, and has the ability to end any fight in an instant.
"McGee gets to his feet and stands over Costa, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Costa felt that one! McGee unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Costa from any more punishment!"

155lbs : Billy Bolek

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14844302577091.jpg

Age: 24

Height: 176 cm

Weight: 170 lbs

Record: 8-3-0 (WWWWL)

"McGee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bolek clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
A helpless look comes across Bolek 's face. He knows he's trapped as McGee lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bonerz McGee!
Bonerz McGee is the new lightweight champion!"

http://www.mmatycoon.com/images/belt/20170323072357Aspire%20Title.png

This makes McGee a very scary man, and a difficult king to dethrone. He has defended the strap three times since taking the title from Billy Bolek, finishing two challengers in the first round and one in the second. So far, McGee has proved to live up to the hype, leaving the whole division beneath him in shambles as the contenders struggle to make their case for a title shot against this lightweight juggernaut.
Epilogue of a Champion:
The next fighter to challenge McGee for the belt will be Aharon Sarkisyan, the Caged Combat Rio lightweight champion. At 11-2 with 10 knockouts, Sarkisyan has shown that he has the power to deliver the goods. When these two gladiators clash in the main event at Aspire 47, you had better not blink; both of these guys are brutal strikers, and you can guarantee that both of them will be looking for the finish. Both men are young, hungry, supremely talented and finely honed; but only one of them will walk away as the Aspire lightweight champion. Either way, Bonerz McGee has left a mark on the Aspire lightweight division like the impact crater from an atomic bomb, and there are sure to be many more amazing fights to come.

I have a young gun who's contract is coming to an end soon. I know he will be at a huge disadvantage if he signs here but I would very much appreciate the chance to have him face high competition.

He is currently fighting in the 155 lbs weight class at Los Angeles War and his record is 2-3-1

Aspire MMA would like to make the community aware that 155lbs roster member Derui Pake (9-2-0) has become a free-agent and as such is available to be picked up by any manager with a sufficient ranking to secure him, this is an opportunity for any manager wanting to join us here at Aspire MMA without a fighter currently in our ID range, while questions have been raised about Pake's chin when faced with the top-flight, for the most part, Pake has proven to be a solid fighter with a real ability to finish fights in exciting, devastating fashion.

To be very clear, if you decide to pick-up this FA and do not wish to be a member of the Aspire roster I will be 100% happy to release you from your contract without issue, nobody in my org is held hostage under any circumstances and it's actually pretty rare for us to have FA's at all in our org so this really does represent a fleeting opportunity for someone to get in on the action here at Aspire.

In other new's I will have last nights Aspire 46 and tonight's Aspire 47 review's up within 48 hours, I tend to like to get them out the following afternoon/tea time whenever possible but today I'm informed I have an unexpected engagement this afternoon and tonight I have other commitments so the earliest 46 is likely to drop is Sunday morning with 47 hopefully deploying on schedule for Sunday tea time, in addition there will be a short delay in Aspire Clothing delivering this weekend's Champions Series shirts we like to issue to our new champions, they are due to be placed on order on Monday and will hopefully be with you shortly after, thank you for the patience and understanding, friends.

Thoughts from the CEO:
This week we announced the closure of our sister promotion Aspire Island, I just want to re-assure our managers that this will have zero impact on Aspire MMA, we are here to stay with a vision to go all the way to the top, it's unfortunate that we are unable to fulfill my personal goal of having the Island side-project become a success but we are determined now to double down on Aspire MMA and the time we commit to it in order to make sure we give you the managers of Aspire very best experience possible, I will go ahead and include below, the full announcement posted a few day's ago in the Aspire Island - Official Thread.

http://oi1290.photobucket.com/albums/b522/TJMitchell/Aspire%20Island%20Logo_zpszaegcabu.png

The Bad News:
It is with great sadness that I'm here to inform you all that we have made the difficult decision to cease operations of the Aspire Island organisation as part of the current Island season.

When we set out to create and Island org, we did not do so to make money, we did so simply to expand the pool of managers who had direct experience with the kind of operation we run at Aspire MMA, essentially we hoped we could encourage people outside of the 275k+ ID range to take a look at us and we would have an opportunity to show them how we do things, introduce them to our team and generally give everyone who had not met us yet an incentive to pickup a 275k+ ID fighter and come on over to Aspire MMA once the season was done.

We never had any view to continuing the org after the season, we just wanted to essentially use it as a calling card, for that we had to maintain a standard of quality mirroring what we believe we provide at Aspire MMA and everyone who was part of our team going into this understood that, as such we went ahead and promoted the organisation and encouraged many of you to create fighters for this season in good faith, excitement around the project was high and I was happy with how things looked, however, real life struck at the most inopportune time and JB90 was forced to take a break to deal with a serious real-life medical situation within his family, this ordinarily would not of been a problem except for the fact Jackie Steve (formerly Jack Hendry) who was assigned to handle the day-to-day tasks also had a real life situation come up for him and as a result I began to try and run the organisation via a proxy, in this case, Tom Bickle.

To clarify when I say "proxy" I do not mean some internet jargon, I literally mean Tom was hired and I directed him on what he should and should not be doing as best I could.
Tom would paste me results, organisation information from in-game and I would do my best to make decision's under a certain "fog of war" so to speak to keep the boat floating but as every day went by I just felt that the experience I was looking to offer the managers was been completely unfulfilled and at this point I have made the unfortunate decision to put an end to this little project. I assume full and total responsibility for the failing of Aspire Island and I hope the community, particularly ones who made fighters specifically for us will find a way to forgive me going forward.

The Good News:
We have decided in an attempt to make-good with the managers of Aspire Island that we will send out over the next few day's $1000 / $1 / $1 deals to everyone on the roster, they will include 1 day inactivity clauses that will allow all of our roster members to leave the company the very next day with a cool thousand pounds in their pockets for help with training costs and I'm more than certain great organisation's such as ISLAND FC operated by the seasoned Island promoter Jay Tycoon and Ghosthouse operated by 7th Circle's Tim Qwe and up-coming manager Scotty JoeC is said to be doing a fantastic job over at The Island Title, I'm sure they will all be more than pleased to sign any fighter looking to continue his Island adventure.

TL;DR:
I'm sorry guys.

And finally I would like to thank you all for the continued patience, I like to get these reviews out the following afternoon but I have been delayed significantly this weekend, as such Aspire 47 will be posted sometime tomorrow (Monday) night hopefully, ill try to make sure I'm nice and on schedule next weekend.

Pre:
Alessandro Orsini won the right to call himself the Aspire 170lbs champion at Aspire 42 following his spectacular second round KO (Punches) victory over previously undefeated world-class competitor Jed "Jedi" Knight, with a seven-fight win streak behind him Orsini has stated publicly his intention to cement his position as the undisputed king of the division by delivering a defeat to tonight's challenger, Ramon Gracie.
Former Aspire 170lbs champion Ramon Gracie went on a thirteen fight career win streak acquiring both the Immortals & StrikeForce Union 170lbs titles along the way before meeting his match in current StrikeForce Union 170lbs champion Tarkhan Naranbaatar at SFU#30 back in October of 2016, returning to the cage to pick up a sensational triangle choke victory over top competitor Otavio Madruga at SFU#39 before securing his vengeance defeating Tarkhan Naranbaatar via Americana at SFU#48. At this time Gracie made the decision to jump ship to Aspire MMA and proceeded to defeat then Aspire 170lbs champion Dum Debble to claim the title before taking time off to head to Brazil to prepare for his upcoming fight with the popular Jed "Jedi" Knight at Aspire 38. Following a five round war that saw both men take it to the limit Ramon was defeated for just the second time in his career, this time via unanimous decision, but quickly bounced back with a win over Andy Fitzgerald at Aspire 42 to secure his chance to reclaim the gold.
With Dignity 170lbs champion Paul Warrior in attendance tonight with rumors that a champion vs champion PPV main event awaits the winner of tonight's bout, excitement for this main event is said to be high with DODDLE, key internet search provider reporting Orsini vs Gracie as one of the top 3 searched terms in the week leading up to the fight with "Is Jed Knight a real Jedi???" also making the top ten list.
Fight:
Gracie slips under a jab from Orsini, that's some fast feet as Gracie lands a swift kick tot he body before slipping under a jab from Orsini, another nice looking leg kick right on the meat from Gracie as Orsini retaliates with a scathing inside leg strike of his own, Gracie takes the opportunity to counter into side control with a successful snap takedown.
Orsini is controlling well as he positions himself back into half guard, Gracie responds by reigning down a couple of big shots that have the referee paying close attention to make sure Orsini is intelligently defending himself, he is and the fight continues as Orsini pulls Gracie in tight preventing him from firmly posturing up to a better striking vantage, the action seems to have stalled and the referee is issuing warnings forcing Orsini to summon all of his strength and bucks hard up into a nice reversal, he's in guard momentarily but Gracie manages to pass the leg and regain the dominant position, from the bottom Orsini is looking for a submission but Gracie defends well closing out a very close round.
Straight out the gate Gracie fakes an overhand right and follows up with a powerful takedown that breaks Orsini's attempt to sprawl and drags the fight down into half guard, Orsini immediately tries to hook Gracies head and pull him in tight to prevent any incoming damage before switching into a guillotine attempt that looks well locked in but Gracie amazes the audience by breaking free before preventing Orsini from sweeping with some aggressive grappling from Gracie controlling the situation as Orsini looks to escape the mount. Gracie's looking for an arm triangle but Orsini is keeping half guard well and defending, staying underneath Orsini is seeking a submission of his own but Gracie is world class and is preventing any advantage from materialising as he continues to patter Orsini with strikes from the top position, the round closes out with Orsini still on the top and not much in the way of advancement taking place, it looks like Gracie will take this round.
Gracie is looking to slow Orsini down with a series of inside leg strikes but the champion delivers a brutal shot to the liver that gives Gracie pause for thought as the challenger digs deep and secures a double leg directly into side control, Orsini wants to control but Gracie has postured up and landed a vicious strike that's really hurt Orsini allowing him to advance his position, Orsini is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Gracie! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Orsini has tapped! This one is allllll over!

Fight:
Nassar, fails to land a series of punches as Pake uses his lightning quick footwork to stay out of danger but fails to strike Nassar with a jab as it's narrowly slipped. Nassar throws a stiff cross that connects on target and follows up with another stiff right before taking a jab to the nose for his trouble, Nassar now with a lovely combination that's backed Pake up as he continues to apply the pressure pressing forward into the melee with a series of significant strikes that leave Pake wincing in pain, fantastic stuff here as the crowd in live attendance give it up for the fighters as they trade strikes in the middle of the cage, Pake looking to land a barrage of frontal leg strikes but Nassar avoids nicely before failing to land a massive hook allowing Pake to counter with a three punch combination that stalls Nassar in his tracks, Pake ducks under an overhand right and circles away but Nassar able to stalk him down lands a massive jab and leaves Pake clearly rocked, Nassar measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Pake! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

205lbs: Thomas Peterson vs Nasko Stefanov

Pre:
Thomas Peterson riding high off two recent TKO (Strikes) victory's over both Jack Dempsey at Aspire 32 and world-class boxer Cleon Wright at Aspire 37, will look at tonight as an opportunity to launch himself into the upper-midcard of the very competitive 205lbs division, his opponent Nasko Stefanov a true veteran of the Aspire MMA cage and a real fan favourite has held a record of 4-3-0 since making his TKO(Strikes) debut against Allen Boes back in December of 2016. Stefanov has been outspoken on the British radio circuit in the run-up to the fight, calling for Aspire MMA to run more international show's, in particular in his adopted homeland, England.
Recently picking up two unanimous decision victories over both Connor MacLeod at Aspire 38 and Asmund Sykk at Aspire 43, it finally seem's like Nasko Stefanov has found his groove and will be looking to land himself a big fish for his next opponent should he be successful tonight.
Fight:
Peterson rushes Stefanov and takes the fight into the clinch up against the cage before working on landing some nice shots to the gut, an uppercut to the inside from Peterson sends Stefanov stumbling as Peterson continues to deliver punishing shots, Stefanov jumps guard but Peterson is able to quickly scramble back to his feet and take the fight back into the clinch to deliver more punishment only to have Stefanov once again drag the fight to the floor and Peterson to once again spring up to his feet in defiance, Stefanov scores with a big left hook that leaves Peterson cut above the right eye before cracking him again with a big shot that sends Peterson crashing to the ground.
Allowing Peterson to get back to his feet Stefanov finds himself surprised by how quickly Peterson recovers as he pushes the fight again into the clinch and continues his dominant standup performance until Stefanov again drags the fight to the ground briefly before Peterson again returns to his feet, back again in the clinch Peterson comfortably closes out the round committing numerous significant shots that secured the round firmly in the eyes of the judges.
Out for the second round and Stefanov is looking to keep the fight on the outside but Peterson darts in and effects the clinch again but seemed to lack the aggression of the first round and Stefanov quickly summoned the strength to break free of the position, outside of the clinch as the round continued Stefanov managed to turn the tide turning the fight into more of a straight boxing bout than anything and firmly getting the better of the situation with heavy counter strikes and stinging hooks, securing the round.
In a close fought round Peterson looked again good on his feet with Stefanov displaying some excellent striking defence to avoid the incoming onslaught, but perhaps the most notable moment came late into the round following an exciting exchange, Crack! A monster head kick from Stefanov and Peterson falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Stefanov!

155lbs: Stephan Beattie vs Royal Pain

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/4/4w19.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/30/30w30.jpg

Age: 24 Age: 24

Height: 174 cm Height: 181 cm

Weight: 168 lbs Weight: 166 lbs

Record: 8-5-0 (WWWWL) Record: 15-8-1 (DWLLL)

Pre:

Royal Pain is one of the most respected cage veterans on the Aspire roster having competed in a combined twenty career fights with fifteen victories to his name almost all by submission it's his out of this world BJJ skills that set him apart from the pack, a true gatekeeper to the 155lbs upper echelon he has taken on some of the world's very best and performed admirably leading to a loyal fanbase that gladly pays to see him fight regardless of what the outcome may be, said to be one of the nicest guys in the sport behind the scenes some have suggested a future backstage awaits Royal Pain when he finally decides to retire, in large part due to how much the Aspire MMA staff enjoy his company, Pain was once seen helping out, carrying parts of the cage down to the center stage with the Aspire Logistics Team just hours before his Aspire 35 submission of the night winning victory over Justin Midget, that's just the type of guy he is.

His opponent tonight the "Scottish Prodigy" Stephan Beattie is on a four-fight win streak delivering fatal KO's and displaying the ability to outmatch even the likes of Alexander Nevsky via unanimous decision at Aspire 42, his only recent loss in recent memory coming due to TKO (Strikes) by high level competitor Rosinante Costacurta a potential second fight between them may await down the line as Costacurta as recently joined the Aspire roster, with that prospect put aside for now Beattie has a real opportunity to raise his stock with a win against Royal Pain if he can avoid the fight been taken to the ground were Pain has a significant advantage.

Fight:

Beattie lands a nice body shot but fails to land a left allowing Pain to quickly shoot in for a takedown, looking for the submission now but Beattie has escaped and is now ontop, how did that happen? it doesn't last for long as Pain sweeps right back into the top position and continues to try and advance his lot, Pain now looking for a series of submissions but Beattie defends well under pressure, Beattie looks to strike from the bottom but struggles to be effective as the referee look's on issuing a warning about activity and both fighters are eventually returned to the standing position. Back on the feet now and Beattie's continued stuffing of Pain's takedown attempts have really taken it out of Royal Pain and a number of critical strikes have perhaps put Beattie ahead with the judges as the round comes to a close.

Beattie quick to establish the clinch as we start the second round, delivering an ongoing onslaught of body shots that are devastating Pain's abilities to do anything as he reels in pain gasping for air strike after strike but showing the resolve of a true super hero to stay in the fight Pain digs deep and blocks as many incoming strikes as possible, occasionally responding with a stiff counter of his own but this round for whatever reason is firmly with Beattie who's unrelenting strikes had firmly secured him the favour of the audience in attendance.

Beattie throws out a powerful jab to start things off as Pain pushes forward to Beattie's surprise an instigates the clinch right up against the cage but despite his eagerness to fight is quickly put on the back foot by a torrent of strikes by the relentless "Scottish Prodigy" who continues to reign down hell on Pain's mid-section as Pain looks to break from the position, doing so momentarly before once again been driven into the clinch by Beattie who completed his devestating three round domination to win by unanimous decision.

Winner - Steaphan Beattie by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 50%

145lbs: Blake Green vs Xi Lim

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14746565953564.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/34/34b9.jpg

Age: 25 Age: 24

Height: 168 cm Height: 175 cm

Weight: 146 lbs Weight: 158 lbs

Record: 13-3-1 (DLWWL) Record: 7-2-2 (DLWWW)

Pre:

Following one of the closest fought battles in Aspire MMA history Xi Lim vs Blake Green ended in a three-round draw that split the online MMA community with many suggesting former Primal 145lbs champion Xi Lim had done enough to secure the fight with others claiming Blake Green outright won and there was no need for debate, Aspire MMA seemed to disagree having called both men into the Los Angeles-based Headquarters to talk about how best to move forward, with both fighters willing to invest in their own stock and return to the cage to settle the issue the fight was announced sending MMA forum's into a spiral of flames as both sides of the fan-fueled rivalry spent hours posting theories on why their guy was certain to win the next fight, a real hot-button topic across the internet while ironically Green and Lim themselves get along rather well outside the cage with family holidays shared together over the years having met during the 2013 Abu Dhabi Championships and striking up a friendship.

Fight:

The intensity is off the charts for this one with the fans in attendance losing their minds for both competitors as they make their way to the cage, they know in the arena tonight that this is going to be a historic moment, a crowning of a people's champion in every sense that matters, both men respected deeply by the fans of Aspire MMA and excitement is an all time high as they touch gloves with a nod acknowledging their mutual respect, heading back to their corners the looks on both fighters faces change to something more primal, something raw and instinctual that represents that once the bell dings the friendship is null and void, and we are off.

Green swings with a massive hook as Lim slips under only to take a nasty kick to the mid-section, Green fakes with a right and throws a stiff leg strike that put's Lim on notice as he throws a wild strike in retaliation that fails to land, and again with a massive spinning uppercut that Green was having none of as he casually side-stepped and fired out a nice jab of his own in response, Lim takes another one directly on the chin and follows up with a big right hand that has the fans standing in anticipation as Lim takes two steps back, another jab, is Lim in trouble here? a nice uppercut and ooooooh, not good it looks like a low kick from Lim had landed and hit Green directly in the groin, that will be a couple minutes for Green to recover with the referee making Lim aware that he isn't prepared to accept too many more shenanigans during this fight, fans however, seem to feel it was accidental and Green seems to indicate that he agrees.

Lim looking more aggressive as we start the action off with a massive uppercut that fails to land before glancing a big right across Green's temple, Lim is looking to land some strikes to the mid-section with mixed results as Green counters with a quick right hand to the jaw that stalls Lim's progress. Lim looking to land some low kick's now but Green's checked it and counter with a stiff right to the button, undeterred Lim continues to chop away at the inside leg of Green, that's going to slow him down. As the exchange continues Green seem's to be doing well but it's very close and Lim has really found his timing now with these leg strikes but Green is doing the most damage with some big right hands landing with precision, the judges are giving the nod to Green as the close out the first round.

Wow I have got to say the atmosphere here tonight is electric as Green duck's an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face, Lim avoiding a counter high kick as a left-hand land for Green, Lim ducking under a wild hook but Green catches him with the follow up as Lim responds with a stiff body shot, Green delivers a series of strikes to the mid-section that really take the gas out of Lim's stride as the pressure piles on with a solid jab and a cracking leg strike from Green who is now delivering a brutal liver shot in combination with a hook to the side of Lim's left eye, yeah that's looking like it's going to cut given much more damage.

Green focused on delivering an onslaught of body shots as Lim displays some exceptional striking defence to avoid most of the incoming melee and is quick to respond with a nice overhand right when the moment presents itself while still very much playing the long game working on the inside leg of Green who has visibly slowed down as the round progressed, still getting the better of the stand up overall it's green who's scoring well with the judges leading into the fourth minute, Lim noticeably more aggressive in the final moments of the round unleashes a torrent of strikes that have Green in danger, backing up out of the fray Green is on the ropes momentarily before countering with a nice body kick that creates enough distance for him to deploy a monstrous uppercut that snaps Lim's head back and closes the round out with the fan's in attendance cheering with delight.

Out for the final round and Green swats away a clinch attempt from Lim before ducking a left and right hook to the body but finally getting caught by an overhand right that leaves the crowd gasping and Green stumbling to regain his foundations as Lim cracks Green again with a big right hand that may have knocked most men out but Green almost on instinct now is throwing wild hands and doing just enough to keep Lim at bay who uses fantastic footwork and head movement to avoid most of the incoming strikes, again with a big overhand right this time landing on Green's shoulder as Lim is feeling the need for speed increasing his ferocity with every strike as Green makes him pay for missing a strike to the mid-section with a lovely counter hook, recovered from the earlier exchange Green is now landing shots to the breadbasket with malicious intent.

Green loads up a big left now looking to finish the fight as the clock ticks down, Lim looks up and checks the time before lunging forward with a big right that fails to land as Green whips in with a stunning shot down the middle that connects nicely, Lim slips a combination of strikes but fails to respond as Green uses a body kick to create distance for another series of strikes, closing out one of the best fights in Aspire MMA history.

Winner - Blake Green by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 95%

185lbs: Cyril Westlake vs Bjarni Agnarsson

Record: 14-4-0 (LWLWL) Record: 10-5-0 (LLWWW)

Pre:

Former StrikeForce Union 185lbs champion Bjarni Agnarsson made his Aspire MMA debut on the receiving end of a unanimous decision loss to top contender Spank Crank at Aspire 36 before hitting a brick wall against former Aspire 185lbs champion Casper Timmermans at Aspire 41 losing via TKO (Strikes), determined to return to winning way's and find his lost form he asked and received an opponent at the earliest opportunity, enter "Virile" Cyril Westlake also coming off a recent loss to Spank Crank via unanimous decision at Aspire 43 taking his Aspire record to 1-2-0, with both men looking to return to form you can expect them to bring their very best to tonights fight.

Fight:

And we are underway with Agnarrson looking to land a hook to the body but Westlake is nowhere to be found, Westlake continues to show is fantastic striking defense slipping a jab before catching a stiff body kick, Westlake looks good but Agnarrson is no joke and proves it by delivering a series of stiff strikes that clearly hurt Westlake, if Agnarrson can catch him this one could be all over early! Westlake throws an overhand right but it lands on Agnarrson's shoulder as Westlake continues to look for big counter strikes and Agnarrson confident in his striking abilities continues to push forward delivering aggressive shots without hesitation, with both fighters giving their all the fan's in attendance are letting them know how much it is appreciated, Agnarrson continues to look like he's getting the better of the exchanges as the round draws to a close.

Out for the second round and Agnarrson takes a big uppercut here that leaves him wobbly on his feet and potentially in trouble but he uses great footwork to negate Westlake's attempts to capitalise and quickly recovers his senses before delivering a nice uppercut of his own that left Westlake with an open wound under his chin that looks nasty, a real target for future strikes as Westlake does his best to now show how much pain he is in and Agnarrson continues to pile on the pressure in the following minutes once again securing the round.

And it's our third and final round with Agnarrson continuing to look the better of the two fighters on the feet, fans are hoping Westlake will take a chance and go to the ground but it looks like Westlakes cut is becoming an ongoing issue as blood is been smeared around his face now by incoming strikes leaving him in real trouble, gutsy in his defiance Westlake refuses to be taken out landing massive uppercuts as the round closes out, a true warrior.

Making his Aspire MMA debut tonight former Dignity! 265lbs champion Ricardo "The ROCK" Castillo a TKO delivering wrecking machine from Philadelphia, one of the most well-rounded prospects with just a single career loss to his name against Aspire title contender Kimbo Slice in the main event of D47 Castillo v Slice losing via TKO(Strikes) in the closing seconds of the very first round, since then picking up a solid win over Expendable Crewman V via TKO (Strikes) at D52 Warrior vs Outlaw before making the jump to Aspire as part of the promotions acquisition of Dignity! recently.

His opponent Levon Minasian a veteran of the Caged Combat Rio organisation makes his Aspire MMA debut following a two-fight unanimous decision streak with only three career losses to his name, both men will be looking to make an instant impact.

Fight:

Castillo looking to destroy Minasian's base early with a series of devastating inside leg strikes that have already bruised within seconds, Minasian fires back with a hook but Castillo's blocked it and countered with a stiff right hook of his own, not deterred Minasian scores with a quick left hand and darts in for a takedown but Castillo is able to secure under hooks and sprawl out the attempt displaying fantastic takedown defensive, a looping hook to the body fails to land for Castillo and Minasian uses the opportunity to finally secure a takedown.

Looking for a submission at every turn Minasian advanced his position quickly and took to working his craft on the ground, Castillo lucky to avoid the onslaught in part due to his positioning against the cage making it increasingly difficult for Minasian to lock a submission in as Castillo continued to edge his way back up to his feet before landing a massive head kick that sends Minasian tumbling back to the ground leaving him rocked and bleeding on the ground, allowing his opponent to stand Castillo looked visibly pleased as he looked to finish Minasian with another less committed head kick that fails to land, still wobbly on his legs Minasian showed the heart of the champion to push forward and clinch up delivering some stiff shots that gave Castillo cause for concern, Castillo throws a big uppercut that drops Minasian! More strikes from Castillo and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Minasian lies dazed against the cage as Castillo celebrates with his cornermen!

Com fakes a couple low kick's before landing the third, Tetch takes a moment to reset his feet about moving in to return fire but it hits with a nasty looking body shot by Com who continues by connecting with a sharp inside leg strike but Tetch answer's back immediately with a powerful jab to the face, a big mid-kick by Tetch lands in Com's mid-section but displaying excellent striking defense Com avoids an incoming right and delivers a solid counter right on Tetch's button stalling his aggression.

Moving into range Com throws a lovely three-punch combination before cracking Tetch with a nice right that draw's the applause of the audience in attendance and leaves Tetch visibly rocked, Com sensing now is his time keeps the pressuring on landing a series of strikes as Tetch swings wildly connecting with Com's face several times before both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Com throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Tetch is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

145lbs: Johny Vargas vs Albert DeSalvo

http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/26/26b20.jpg vs http://mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/14814839611796.jpg

Age: 27 Age: 24

Height: 174 cm Height: 150 cm

Weight: 157 lbs Weight: 145 lbs

Record: 9-5-0 (LWLWW) Record: 6-5-0 (LWLLW)

Pre:

Following his Aspire MMA debut loss against Issumatar Tariaksuq at Aspire 40, it was clear something had to change if the former DFC 145lbs champion was going to climb back to the top of the mountain in the already stacked 145lbs division, working with new coaches at the Roosters Coop gym out of Los Vegas in partnership with ON TAP 160Q Nutrition alongside specialist conditioning coach Jon Harrington and his team of Elite trainers, Vargas is said to have made a giant leap forward, a breakthrough to the next level during several undocumented smokers in the run-up to tonight's return to the Aspire MMA cage.

"The Measuring Man" Albert DeSalvo has been with Aspire MMA since the very start, dating back to Aspire 1 (then known as Just Bleed 1) when he defeated Santa Blaze via kimura before going on to defeat Uriah Barnes and Vassily Solomin in similar fashion at Aspire 3 and Aspire 7 respectively, there have been many up's and down's in DeSalvo's career since that point with a recent Satoru Takada unanimous decision loss at Aspire 42 standing out as Takada firmly took all three rounds, with DeSalvo now finding himself in a must-win situation going into his fight with Vargas.

Fight:

DeSalvo looks for a body shot but fails to find his target as Vargas moves out of striking range, poor timing from DeSalvo who looks to chase down Vargas who is loading up for a big counter strike landing a one-two to the body and easily avoiding DeSalvo's incoming takedown attempt, DeSalvo scores a crisp jab that stalls Vargas as he continues to close the distance with a real sense in the arena that DeSalvo is getting the better of the standup exchange in the early goings but failing to take the fight to the ground to exploit his comfort zone, Vargas sensing he might need to step up his game digs deep and starts delivering a barrage of leg strikes and two punch combination's that seem to take the edge off DeSalvo's assault and levels the playing field as the round comes to a close, a very tightly contested bout so far, this one could go either way with the judges.

Out for the second and Vargas looks cautious as he maintains distance, DeSalvo pursuing his foe as he did in the first round continues to stalk Vargas who uses the opportunity to deliver a series of well-timed counter strikes that leave DeSalvo hurt as he looks to successfully force the takedown as a defensive measure, now on the ground DeSalvo is clawing at every opportunity to take a limb and secure a submission but is unable to get the job done as Vargas defends well, stalling the action to a referee stand-up. Back on the feet DeSalvo seemed enraged and looked fantastic as he pursued Vargas with lethal precision clearly taking the round.

Knowing this fight could go either way both men came into the third and final round hot and ready to go but it seemed Vargas took the better of the stand-up war overall with his propensity to deliver swift counter combinations and avoid much of the incoming onslaught of DeSalvo, forced to put his entire weight behind the affair DeSalvo shoots in and secures a takedown into side control, desperately looking for the submission as Vargas squirms to stay in the fight, with judges watching on with intent Vargas pushes DeSalvo away creating enough space to escape, a final act of defiance that may have just about secured him this Split Decision victory.

Post fight we had words with Aspire CEO Adam Holland as to if these two men would find themselves back in the cage as a result of the Split Decision, "Honestly, on a case by case basis it's our policy to do that but in this particular case I think DeSalvo took Vargas to his limits and almost beat him but Vargas by the skin of his teeth managed to take it, I dont expect we will see this one again unless the fans on social media demand for it, then, of course, we will do it, let's see what happens".

170lbs: Bertram Adelhard vs Sebastol Ceomo

Age: 24 Age: 24

Height: 189 cm Height: 187 cm

Weight: 178 lbs Weight: 176 lbs

Record: 4-3-0 (LLWWW) Record: 3-2-0 (LWWLW)

Pre:

Elite level striker "The Raven" Bertram Adelhard has picked up two straight losses since his Aspire MM debut against Brannigan Steele at Aspire 33, losing first via unanimous decision and then again via TKO (Strikes) against Your Name Here at Aspire 40, highlighting just how difficult it can be for fighters to break into the highly competitive Aspire divisions. His opponents Sebastol Ceomo having lost in his Aspire MMA debut via unanimous decision at Aspire 26 before going on to pick up two straight victory's, one via TKO (Strikes) against Maynard Keenan at Aspire 30 and another via unanimous decision at Aspire 38 before picking up a loss to high level contender Bomb Comb via unanimous decision at Aspire 43, both men know even a win might not be enough to secure their futures at Aspire MMA as they, unfortunately, stand at the very bottom of a very deep division.

Fight:

A half hearted mid kick to test the waters from Ceomo as Adelhard loads up a big head kick that fails to land taking a counter right for his trouble, ducking low and looking for a takedown Adelhard finds himself stuffed as Ceomo sprawls well to defend the attempt before using some nice looking footwork to sidestep and incoming right hand, the fighters proceeded to exchange strikes with Adelhard seeming to get the better of the action before faking an overhand right and shooting in for a successful takedown, down on the ground Adelhard looked to land ground and pound scoring well with the judges before Ceomo lands a beautiful sweep to claim the top position closing out the round with a clear nod for Adelhard despite his precarious positioning towards the end of the round.

Out for the second and Adelhard avoids an opening strike from Ceomo before pawing away with a jab that setup a massive right lunge that landed directly on Ceomo's button before rushing into the clinch and delivering a series of devastating body shots that really seemed to take the steam out of Ceomo's sails, proceeding to maintain the dominance in the clinch for over half the round before deciding to break from the position to establish more ranged for some heavier shots, Adelhard looked fantastic as he continued to dominate the fight.

Ceomo waists no time taking the fight to the ground to start the third and final round off with a bang but fails to capitalise on his positional superiority and a lack of action due to the entanglement leads to a referee standup, back on the feet Adelhard continues to use his significant reach advantage to score well with the judges as Ceomo does his best to return fire whenever possible but following a wild body shot that failed to find it's target Adelhard surprised the fan's in attendance by securing a takedown into side control, looking to finish from the bottom Ceomo tried his best to secure a series of submission attempts but ultimately failed to do so leading to a unanimous decision victory for Adelhard.

Winner - Bertram Adelhard by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 54%

Thoughts from the CEO:
Hello all, I would like to thank Rei Rei for agreeing to become the official poster designer for all upcoming events starting with Aspire 49: Zaitsev vs Slice, his work has so far exceeded my every expectation and we have already had great feedback from some of the managers on how much they love the effort that's been put into it, it's long been my goal to have quality posters for Aspire events so I'm over the moon that Rei has decided to join our team, as side note while we do accept competitive 290-298k ID fighters here at Aspire MMA, if you have a 290k+ ID fighter I cannot stress enough how much I recommend Bushido 武士道 (290K+) the organisation he run's out of Tokyo, without a doubt the premier destination for any fighter in that ID range.

In regards to Aspire 49, we want to make it very clear that we understand and expect this very first PPV card to be a financial loss due to the way PPV mechanics work, we are doing this to set our initial "hidden" PPV to ensure the following card Aspire 50 live from the Tokyo Dome has a real shot at success in a 1-hour PPV format, the Tokyo card in of itself is also a "stepping stone" card so to speak with an aim to giving Aspire 51 and Aspire 52 our first show's in the 92k arena's a chance of been financial success's, everything we do has a knock on effect and just because you are not booked on them first 92k arena shows doesn't make your fighters contribution to the continued success of this organisation any less felt or appreciated, every show following Aspire 51 will be a 92k PPV show if we do this right, so everyone will have his day in the sun hopefully!
And finally I would like to again apologise for the lateness of Aspire 47's review, it was a fantastic card that produced our highest event rating of all time, it deserved to be out the following day but while I tend to make it a goal to do so it just was not at all possible this time around, start to finish writing these things, fact checking everything I put into it against previous fights, breaking down the fights themselves and providing a backstory worthy of the time it takes to read is often a start to finish five hour process and when we have two events a week that's generally very taxing if I have additional real life commitments placed on me as I had this weekend, I could certainly have made life easier for myself by doing much of the preparation work and backstories ahead of time but I failed to recognise the conflicts in my schedule before it was too late, in any case ill try to do better folks!

Star of the hit movie "Here Comes the Doom!!!" featuring MMA legend Jigoro Kane, Aspire 155lbs champion Bonerz McGee is no stranger to the spotlight having defeated the very best the world has to offer at 155lbs, including the likes of former Aspire 155lbs champion Billy Bolek, former StrikeForce Union 155lbs champion Vinicius Costa, Fujii Yusuke and most recently former Helsinki Fighting Leauge 155lbs champion George Nassar at Aspire 36, and with a potential super-fight on the horizon for the winner of tonight's fight with the current Dignity! 155lbs champion Mitch Miletich everything is on the line tonight for the biggest name in Aspire MMA.
His opponent current Caged Combat Rio 155lbs champion Aharon Sarkisyan is on a five-fight win streak with four coming via devastating TKO (Strikes) highlighting the very real danger facing Bonerz McGee tonight, this one has the makings of a classic as Aharon Sarkisyan from Masis, Armenia is considered one of the world's all-time greatest 155lbs fighters having held the CCR title on two occasions defending it a total of five times successfully setting records for his division, tonight he will hope to mark the first of many main events for Aspire MMA.
Fight:
Sarkisyan delivers a solid hook to the body, darting in to land and then getting out of dodge before McGee can respond, McGee looks to fake a right but Sarkisyan see's it coming and delivers a stiff push kick to establish range, McGee pushes forward with a fast jab, cross, leg strike combination but Sarkisyan fires back with an inside leg kick of his own before pattering out a jab, again another jab from Sarkisyan, it looks like he's trying to set up a big strike with that jab and it will be interesting to see if he can make it work. McGee has a leg strike checked as Sarkisyan fires back with a successful low kick of his own, it looks like Sarkisyan is trying to clinch up but McGee is having none of that as he circles away landing a crisp left as he does. Both fighters trade leg strikes and body punches as the crowd already at a fever pitch from the co-main event cheer in appreciation as McGee rushes Sarkisyan against the cage as he looks to take the fight to the ground, Sarkisyan defends well and circles away using great footwork to bounce back in and land a stiff right before darting out of range again, Sarkisyan is winning the points war so far but McGee is really doing damage to Sarkisyan's inside leg and he's noticeably slowed down since this fight started.
Staying on the outside down Sarkisyan is using fast feet to stay one step ahead as McGee stalks down his opponent, a massive head kick fails to land for McGee and Sarkisyan makes him pay for it with a jab that pop's McGee right in the eye, feinting a counter leg kick Sarkisyan is able to land a nice stiff shot to the gut but McGee is able to counter with a nicer straight right, ooh that hurt. McGee throws a monster uppercut but it fails to land as Sarkisyan begins to unload a series of strikes that have the champion in trouble, instinctively McGee pushes forward when most men would have backed down and pushed the fight back into the clinch before unloading a torrent of strikes that puts Sarkisyan firmly on the back foot in the closing seconds of the round, McGee looked strong at the end but to be honest Sarkisyan most likely scored enough points to feel comfortable in this very first round.
McGee comes out and touches gloves with Sarkisyan showing his respect before landing a crisp cross, Sarkisyan tries to respond with a body shot but McGee was quick to avoid it, bone on bone action now as Sarkisyan checks a low kick before weaving in-between McGee's strikes to deliver a lovely uppercut that stumbled the champion momentarily but as if empowered by the strike it is now McGee throwing a monster overhand right that drops Sarkisyan! McGee follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Following the fight, Bonerz McGee took to the microphone and had this to say "Give it up for Sarkisyan folks! What a fighter, I would love to do this again sometime, wasn't that great? I just want to thank my team, my coaches, my family and most of all thank you to my loyal fans, I love and respect you all."

Pre:
Debuting for Aspire MMA at Aspire 21 picking up a contentious decision loss to Ken Womack thing did not exactly go to plan for Reuben Kincaid from the get-go but determination has never been his weakness as he pressed forward to defeat Joshua Redding via KO (Punch) at Aspire 25 before delivering a brutal third round TKO (Strikes) victory over Johnny Jones at Aspire 29 before finally reaching the top of the mountain by defeating top contender and former Helsinki Fighting League 205lbs champion Ikka Runnisto to secure his shot at then Aspire 185lbs champion Harry Winston. Within just 59 seconds of the very first round, Kincaid had been crowned the new Aspire 185lbs champion with a devastating KO (Head Kick) and his place in history was set in stone.
Former Aspire 185lbs champion Casper Timmermans made his Aspire MMA debut back in November of 2016 decimating top competitor Kimbo Spice via TKO (Strikes) before defeating then Aspire 185lbs champion Aksel Stenger via a five-round unanimous decision to become the king of the mountain, Timmermans went on to defend his title four successive times laying waste to the likes of William Wallace, Ken Womack and Vova Klimov before finding himself thrust into the spotlight as the first Aspire roster member to be cast in a Hollyweird Studio's production "The Beetle King" an ancient Egyptian adventure movie that breached into the mainstream to critical acclaim launching a series of Aspire MMA movies and significantly increasing the fanbase of the promotion as a result, rewarded for his success Timmermans is said to have received a custom Rolls-Royce Phantom Serenity paid for personally by the Aspire CEO Adam Holland.
With the world at his feet Timmermans walked into Aspire 36 ready to rumble as he faced off against the former StrikeForce Union 185lbs champion Harry Winston, with both men looking fantastic in the outing Timmermans rocked Winston early and looked to secure victory but Winston was able to survive long enough to put his considerable BJJ skills to use securing a shocking Submission (Armbar) victory, usurping Timmermans of his crown.
Determined to earn his way back into the title picture Timmermans suspended all media appearances in the run up to his Aspire 41 showdown with top prospect Bjarni Agnaarsson, ultimately winning convincingly via TKO (Strikes) before setting his sights on the champion Reuben Kincaid.
Fight:
Dignity! 185lbs champion Macon "Kind van de Deuivel" Sackett can be seen clearly in the front row paying close attention to the outcome of this fight, he looks calm and collected as fans and reporters notice he has slipped in and are held off by security as they try to reach him for comment, noticing the commotion outside the cage Casper Timmermans climbs to the top and shouts down "You want a comment? Sackett's never beaten anyone worth beating in his life, fuck him anyway, get over here and watch me take my belt back" before jumping down to face off against a visibly angry Reuben Kincaid who at this point has every right to feel disrespected.
As the bell ring's for tonight's co-main event, Timmermans quickly establish's his optimal range with his jab, leading forward with his left leg striking as Kincaid launches a swift hook to the side of Timmermans head but the blow misses its target as Timmermans weaves under it and fires off a fake right hand allowing for another brutal leg strike to land firmly on the meat of Kincaid's right inside leg before driving forward into a successful takedown attempt, Kincaid is defending well but Timmermans has caught him off guard to advance to the half guard, seeking to mount now Timmermans is controlled by Kincaid who holds him as close as physically possible as the referee issues a final warning before standing both fighters and the action resumes. The exchange continues as Timmermans takes a lackluster uppercut to the chin only to respond with a massive counter strike that puts Kincaid on the backfoot, yelling from Kincaid's corner indicates the need for a combination strike and Kincaid obliges as the fans give it up for both competitors, zooming in on Macon Sackett, he seem's largely unimpressed by what he's seeing and has taken to his mobile phone as Kincaid strikes again giving Timmermans cause for concern as the challenger takes a more cautious approach to remainder of the round, comfortable in knowing he has most likely received a nod from the judges so far.
Out for the second round and Timmermans score's a fantastic spinning back kick that's sure to feature in highlight reels for years, wonderful stuff! He's failed to land a second as he returns to the well one time too many, Macon Sackett is on his feet in a shocking display as he slow claps the challenger, Timmermans is looking directly at Sackett at this point with fury in his face as Sackett's stern face turn's a glorious smile of triumph, just then Kincaid clobbers Timmermans with a bit counter right hand that sends the live audience into rapturous applause for the champion, Timmermans shaken but not broken sets his focus on the task at hand delivering a series of powerful strike to Kincaid's midsection narrowly avoiding a lunging uppercut as he swiftly dances out of the way raising his arms in the air as if to say he "really doesn't care", Kincaid about at his limit charges forward and delivers one of the best right hooks we have ever seen in Aspire MMA bouncing Timmermans off the side of the cage and plowing forward with a series of big rights, eating the damage Timmermans showed the heart of a champion to dig deep and return fire with a swift body kick that created enough distance to land a beautiful swinging hook that stunned Kincaid in his tracks. Seeing out the round cautiously picking apart Kincaid's foundations with a barrage of inside leg strikes Timmermans had finally found his groove by the end of the second round, if he can only avoid the cage side distractions.
Kincaid lands a kick to the ribs that make's Timmermans reconsider his life choices, no he really did intend to become a cage fight... that's settled then, a crisp cross from Timmermans as he looks to establish his optimal striking range, and another jab leading the way for Timmermans to shoot in and secure a takedown landing directly in side control, possessing the superior BJJ Timmermans is able to manage the situation well working to posture up and land a series of hammer fists but is failing to land accurately as Kincaid defends well, again hooking Timmermans in tightly to prevent the incoming torrent of strikes from doing their worst as the referee is forced to stand the fight following a lull in the action, back on the feet and Kincaid makes a solid showing now increasing his intensity to match that of the challenger, blocking the majority of Timmermans offense and setting up some big shots of his own gave Kincaid hope for victory knowing one big counter strike could do the trick at any moment he was determined to stay in this fight, damage done earlier to Kincaid's left eye is developing into a nasty lump that Timmermans has taken notice of and is starting to abuse with impunity as Kincaid grimaces with every shot.
Out for the fourth round now and Kincaid launches a series of body kicks that Timmermans is able to avoid as he fires back with a vicious looking body shot, stumbling momentarily Kincaid takes a solid leg strike and jab to the jaw but manages to check the next incoming strike and return fire with a stiff left of his own, Timmermans continuing to break down Kincaid's foundations works a series of leg strikes designed to immobilise the champion and uses his fast feet to stay one step ahead of the rebuttal, seeming more cautious now as if approaching a wounded animal Timmermans precisely targets Kincaid's left eye with his jab drawing the defense to allow his leg strikes to continue to break down the champion before shooting in to secure a double leg, slamming Kincaid into the mat, Kincaid summoning all of his remaining strength scrambles back to his feet and is immediately clinched but Timmermans finds Kincaid to be too slippery to hold as the fighters break from the position, hobbling somewhat now Kincaid does his best to finish out the round as Timmermans continues to pick away at the task knowing that Kincaid possess true KO ability and that over confidence could ruin him.
Kincaid knowing it was now or never in the championship round came out like a bat out of hell screeching towards his opponent with furious anger and delivering a loaded combination of jabs and body strikes before finishing off with a straight right down the middle that stunned Timmermans and raised the crowd in attendance to its feet gasping with every strike, sensing the danger of his precarious situation Timmermans shot backwards as if he was in the matrix to avoid a powerful strike that had vicious intentions behind it and leaped back up with a counterstrike of his own that left Kincaid rocked on his feet, instinct taking over Kincaid leaned into Timmermans and looked to secure underhooks but was unable to prevent Timmermans securing a quick takedown closing out the round running down the clock to become the new Aspire 185lbs champion!
Post:
As Casper Timmermans celebrated with his team following the result he took the microphone to issue a few words "First of all, lets get this right. Kincaid is legit, you pushed me and I respect you, but this right here is mine... and second of all, fuck Macon Sackett rolling up in here acting like the big shot fucking with my attention, this guy, Dignity? fuck do you know about dignity, I'm the man around here and you aint getting a shot at my title no matter what, get to the back of the line you aint beat nobody around here"

bYB--3jQQiKuUSLLeGZIcA.png

Without hesitation, Macon Sackett rips off his shirt and storms the cage with his Dignity! 185lbs championship title at hand, raising his belt high as both fighters went face to face, the cage now flooding with security and team members as a melee breaks out between the two camps. CEO Adam Holland steps into the cage trying his best to break it up, "God damn it, you are supposed to be professionals, if fightings what you want to do, I'll make sure it happens but not right here, not right now, security! security! get him the fuck out of here" pointing at Sackett with intent as Timmermans launches an overhand right towards the slightly distracted and bemused Sackett but it fails to land on it's intended target, instead a member of Sackett's team takes the blow and drops to the ground clearly knocked out.
"The next ones for you Sackett" yells Timmermans as he raises up his hands, now with about twenty bodies between the two men pushing them aside like the parting of the red sea, Sackett shaking off security assures them he's calm and just wants to check on his friend but is been prevented from getting where he wants to be and is forced to physically manhandled two 265lbs+ security guards out the way to check on his buddy, lifting him to his feet and escorting him out the cage Sackett had made a fatal mistake, he had placed his title belt on the ground while attending to his injured friend and left it behind in the following chaos.
Timmermans never one to miss on an opportunity pounced on the belt and immediately raised it high in the air alongside his own, "Give me a fucking microphone" Timmermans yells as reporter Gail Sanderson thrusts one towards him, "Yo Sackett, I got something that belongs to you bitch. I ain't hard to find, if you want this back ill be in the Wombley Arena, come fucking take it." A furious look crossed Sackett's face as he realised his mistake, storming out of the arena but not before destroying the custom built Aspire titantron delivering a crushing overhand right that shattered the lower left of the screen entirely, "mother fucker" Sackett could be heard yelling as he was escorted out of the arena.

170lbs: Jed Knight vs Andy Fitzgerald

Age: 24 Age: 30

Height: 182 cm Height: 183 cm

Record: 8-1-0 (LWWWW) Record: 16-7-0 (LLLWW)

Pre:

Since making his Aspire MMA debut at Aspire 35 losing via TKO (Strikes) against former Aspire 170lbs champion Dum Debble in the third and final round, things have been difficult for Fitzgerald a former 185lbs champion of the now-defunct Revolution XC organisation, picking up an additional losses current Aspire 170lbs champion Ramon Gracie at Aspire 42, never shy to take on the very best competition on offer Fitzgerald has found himself fighting some of the baddest men on the planet, no loss at this level is a mark against him, Fitzgerald is still a very dangerous, very experienced competitor and it would be foolish for anyone to take him lightly.

Jed "Jedi" Knight took time out of his busy training schedule to comment on his upcoming fight with Fitzgerald in this month's issue of Aspire Magazine, "I was in the front row the night Fitzgerald lost to Rocco Antonio Stiffredi during The Island Season 5, 185lbs, Round 4 fight and I was amazed by the punishment Fitzgerald could take, listen this is going to be a battle and I have spent my entire life building up to this moment, I'm ready for it, no matter what the internet says", his comments come in reference to suggestion's that his recent Aspire 170lbs title loss against Alessandro Orsini was in some way linked to the filming of his upcoming Hollyweird production "Spirit Wars - The Soul Awakens" that ran concurrently with his training camp with dramatic last minute re-shoots scheduled just day's before his fight with Fitzgerald some have questioned what comes first, Aspire MMA or the Hollyweird production line?

Fight:

Fitzgerald slips under a jab and throws a leg strikes that lands on Knight's back calf leading to a bone on bone exchange with the follow-up that looked pretty nasty as Fitzgerald pressed the action with a stiff body shot that momentarily takes the wind out of Knights sails, Fitzgerald's hands are high preventing a nice combination from Knight finding it's target but as Fitzgerald fires back faking high and swinging low but Knight is quick to dodge out of the way and counter with powerful inside leg strike, Fitzgerald swinging wildly but failing to hit the spot as Knight checks another leg strike, the fans in attendance are loving this as both fighters press into each other with a torrent of strikes in the middle of the cage, they are holding nothing back as Knight connects directly with Fitzgerald belly button sending it recoiling into his stomach before unleashing a series of big shots that see Knight now getting the better of the standup, Fitzgerald displaying some great footwork to avoid a number of big shots but the pressuring is mounting as Knight continues to score well with the judges to close out the round.

Knight fakes a head shot and firmly plants his fist in Fitzgerald's gut to start things off for the second round as Fitzgerald tries to find his range with a pawing jab only to find himself on the end of a light combination from Knight that did not seem to phase Fitzgerald, knowing more power is required to exact the desires response Knight loaded up a big right that stunned Fitzgerald in his tracks and proceeded to step up his pace out maneuvering Fitzgerald at every turn scoring significant strikes that will place him well in the judges minds as he continues his assault dominating the majority of the round.

Knight is keen to press the action early as the third round begins landing a beautiful three punch combination that's sure to see a lot of playbacks online after the fight, that's how you do it! Fitzgerald knowing he must finish now to secure the fight is clobbering Knight with some heavy hands and it looks like Knight is trying to hide just how hurt he really is as his pace as significantly slowed down as Fitzgerald continues to land a barrage of shots that have the referee considering Knight's abilities to defend himself but slipping an overhand right Knight is able to circle out away from the danger and reset his feet before using a powerful body kick to keep his distance while his continued blitzkrieg combinations of lighting fast leg strikes and overhand hooks keep Fitzgerald off-balance long enough to survive the rest of the round, in fairness Fitzgerald most likely took the third and final round on points but it hasn't been enough to take the decision.

After the fight Jed Knight took to the microphone and announced "Listen I'm an MMA fighter first and foremost, I do this to be the very best, I would never fuck around with my training camp for a movie, despite how great that movies going to be, reports that I was jerking off before this fight doing re-shoots are an utter fabrication, they call me one take-Jed on set, the next person to run his mouth about me is getting knocked the fuck out" before dropping the mic and proceeding to celebrate with his coaching team, Fitzgerald made it known he did his best tonight and he respected Jed for bringing the fight to him and surviving some big shots, he said he will be back no matter what and will continue to face the very best on offer because he has no interest in fight anyone who doesn't take him to his very limit, the fans seem to appreciate his sentiments and we move on to the co-main event of the evening.

Winner - Jed Knight by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 79%

145lbs: Ryan Brophy vs Koulouraki Souvlaki

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/15/15b5.jpg vs http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/22/22w17.jpg

Age: 26 Age: 33

Height: 170 cm Height: 174 cm

Weight: 145 lbs Weight: 135 lbs

Record: 9-2-0 (LWWWW) Record: 14-8-0 (WWWLL)

Pre:

Former Budo Rei FC 135lbs champion Ryan Brophy makes his 145lbs Aspire MMA debut tonight following his TKO (Strikes) championship loss to Magomedrasul Khasbulaev at BFRC Weightweight Tourney 2 back in February of 2017, his opponent tonight is "The Handsome Boy" Koulouraki Souvlaki a BJJ Black belt with solid standup that also previously held the Budo Rei FC 135lbs championship, also making his 145lbs debut at Aspire MMA coming off the back of a three-fight win streak including two TKO (Strikes) victories over Leeroy Jenkins at HFC 309 and Fred Simmons at HFC 312, with both men looking to make an instant impact you can expect them to bring their A-Games tonight.

Fight:

Souvlaki throws a shot to the body but fails to find his target as Brophy summons an overhand right and dives forward into a successful double leg takedown, working from the bottom Souvlaki is looking for a quick submission but Brophy is defending well, posturing up to land some strikes but Souvlaki is looking to control as best he can, with both men jockeying for position and with no clear aggressor the fight stalls to the point the audience in attendance is audibly booing the action, Brophy did enough to take this one proving excellent defensively on the ground but it's Souvlaki's lack of action that's really given him it.

Souvlaki out for the second round with a nice jab that stuns Brophy and prevents him from throwing a head kick he had been loading up, a nice uppercut from Souvlaki that snapped Brophy's head back but Brophy's returned fire with a crisp jab that lands on point, Souvlaki clearly the more aggressive fighter at this point presses the action cracking Brophy with a big shot right on the button but Brophy the faster of the two is out positioning Souvlaki soundly and landing some heavy counter shots, Souvlaki is rocked by a crisp jab that stops him in his tracks and is forced to dig deep to provide a counter takedown into side control, let's hope he's more active this time. Souvlaki looking for a series of submissions but nothings looking like holding as Brophy continues to defend well closing out the round once again for Brophy.

Souvlaki immediately changes levels to kick start the third and final round securing a double leg takedown and again looking to lay and pray as he awaits his moment of opportunity in order to deliver a fatal submission, sadly the opportunity never quite presented itself and while on paper Souvlaki did enough to secure the round in my book he failed to make his chances turn into fortune leaving Ryan Brophy the winner by decision.

Winner - Ryan Brophy by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 32%

Pre:

Umberto Reem made his Aspire MMA debut at Aspire 42 defeating veteran Bubba Dee via TKO (Cut) in the closing minute of the third round, his opponent is former Aspire 265lbs champion Sendou "Kenshi" Kitano, training out of the Forest Hill Gym operated out of London, England with such champions as Carnage 155lbs champion Marat Magomedov and Pulse 145lbs champion Danny Brixton amongst his training partners Sendou Kitano has all the tools needed to make a real run for the top of the division, but first he must take on the powerful Umberto Reem, speculation online suggests this is the final fight on Kitano's contract and that his management is considering testing his value on the open market following the fight, looking to raise his stock as high as possible you can expect Kitano to take it to the limit.

Fight:

Kitano throws the left hand but Reem is out the way before it can land, a nice solid jab from Kitano as Reem moves forward with a stiff body shot before cracking Kitano with a powerful jab that leaves Kitano cut below his chin, both fighters swing wildly in an exchange of strikes that see's Kitano get the best of it before rushing the fight into the clinch, the fans are excited by what they are seeing as Kitano lands a brutal knee to the body frustrating Reem to the point he forces a break from the position and looks to distract Kitano with a wave of the hands, failing to secure Kitano's attentions it is Reem now eating a nasty right for his trouble as Kitano pressed forward with a series of inside leg strikes that look to have hurt. Reem connecting with a nice jab as he looks to close the distance but Kitano is staying active and mobile preventing the powerful Reem from finding his target.

After a period of elusiveness Kitano is rocked by a massive right hand that catches him square in the face causing the audience to gasp as the strike landed, Kitano responding immediately with a looping left that may have saved his night as Reem looks dazed, both men now swinging wildly at each other as Reem connects with a straight left-hand counter that further damages Kitano's previous cut, Reem closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kitano! Reem dives in looking to finish! Kitano is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

205lbs: Risto Rautio vs Leon Montana

Age: 24 Age: 22

Height: 189 cm Height: 188 cm

Weight: 210 lbs Weight: 218 lbs

Record: 8-1-0 (WLWWW) Record: 6-1-0 (WWWWW)

Pre:

With both men set to make their Aspire MMA debuts following the recent acquisition of the Dignity! organisation tonight's bout pits top prospect Risto Rautio with his solid wrestling base and lighting quick hands against Leon Montana a well-rounded striker with a successful Olympic boxing background. Rautio recently picked up a lovely KO (Head Kick) victory earning the KO of the night bonus at D49 Jacquard vs Nystrom while undefeated Leon Montana has most certainly put to sleep Onni Seppala via TKO (Strikes) at D50 Warror vs Saarelainen.

Fight:

Montana is yelling something at Rautio with his hands down to start things off, Rautio has responded with a clean right hook that sends Monatan down to his knee momentarily, what was he thinking? Montana ducking low and landing a nice hook to the body as Rautio looks for a counter strike, slipping Montana's jab and looking to deliver a big time uppercut, however Montana is too quick and counters with a straight right putting the breaks to Rautio's advance, quickly establishing the clinch Montana went on to unload a relentless torrent of strikes using his significant weight advantage to pin Routio in an unfortunate position side-on against the cage allowing Montana to land with impunity, towards the end of the round Rautio managed to break free and land a series of big shots but I think Montana has done enough to secure this one so far.

Cracking Rautio with a hook to the jaw before following up with a nasty liver strike and a big right to the head it looked like Montana was going to continue to dominate the standup but a poor cross leading to a powerful counter hook to the side of the head has left Montana dazed and bleeding, more aggressive this time Rautio presses forward looking to open the wound further with a number of targeted shots but Montana is quick to recover and counters with a big shot that thuds right into Rautio's forehead. Rautio trying to fire off some leg strikes their but Montana's checking it. The fighters continue to exchange strikes leading up to the final seconds of the round, I think it's close but Montana may just edge this one.

Montana is not looking fresh as he comes out for the third round having noticeably slowed down over the course of the fight with Rautio starting to make the difference with some lovely counters, Montana with a big right now and can audibly be heard saying "You're gonna get knocked out" as the shot connects, Montana is showing his resolve to gut through a performance under pressure and deliver enough significant strikes to make the difference with the judges tonight.

170lbs: Dum Debble vs Brannigan Steele

Age: 23 Age: 24

Height: 181 cm Height: 178 cm

Weight: 175 lbs Weight: 180 lbs

Record: 8-3-1 (WLWLW) Record: 6-5-1 (LLDWW)

Pre:

Former Aspire 170lbs champion Dum Debble was uncrowned by current 170lbs champion Ramon Gracie at Aspire 30 when he lost via Submission (Armbar) late into the second round, since then he has picked up a TKO (Strikes) victory over top contender Andy Fitzgerald at Aspire 35 before losing via unanimous decision to the "Bavarian Bachelor" Heribert Bosch via unanimous decision at Aspire 41 earning the fight of the night bonus in the process, rumours online speculate this is Dum Debble's last fight on his contract and with negotiations set to begin shortly Debble will be keen to secure a victory and raise his stocks as high as possible before entering the open market, his opponent tonight is "The Real Deal" Brannigan Steele, a stalwart member of the Aspire 170lbs roster since our very first show way back at Aspire 1 when he picked up a majority decision victory over future Aspire 170lbs champion Chance Birmbaum before securing the title himself against Troy Manning at Aspire 5 way back in October of 2016, with a career spanning a who's who of top competitors in the division Steele know's how to get the job done but has come out of a two-fight showdown with Winslow Berhardt on the losing end and as such will be determined to take home a win tonight.

Fight:

Steele avoids an uppercut to start things off but immediately walks directly into a jab resulting in blood pouring from his nose as Debble swings another massive uppercut that again fails to land allowing Steele to return fire with a lovely straight right that stalls the former champion momentarily, Steele seem's off his game as he walks directly into another jab as Debble plows forward delivering a range of shots body, body, head before pushing Steele up against the cage and unloading some impactful shots to the mid-section, securing underhooks to dominate the position now Debble starts to find his target with some powerful uppercuts leave Steele clearly rocked on his feet, as a matter of instinct Steele falling back on his training successfully pulls guard and looks to take up a defensive position from the ground frustrating Debble who fails to land much in the way of significant strikes, closing out the round firmly for Debble.

As the cut's man finishes up with Steele we return to the action with Debble using great footwork to avoid any real damage from Steele who's plowing forward now, Debble is been extra cautious as he loads up for that perfect moment with Steele significantly more aggressive in this second round but failing to land the majority of his shots, Debble fakes a jab and connects with a nasty looking hook, Debble cracks Steele with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Steele looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Debble finish him? Debble closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Steele out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

Winner - Dum Debble by way KO (Punch) : Fight Rating 59%

Pre:

Now on his third straight loss Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will know a victory tonight is not just sufficient, it's a minimum requirement and is expected to leave nothing behind in the cage tonight as he takes on upcoming prospect Marcus Ware, currently on a two-fight win streak following his first round KO (Punch) decimation of Kevin Rush at Aspire 34 and his TKO (Strikes) victory over Lucio Francisco Carmo at Aspire 39, expect sparks to fly.

Fight:

Ware connects with a crisp jab before cracking Beefcake square on the jaw with a brutal hook that looks like it hurt, Beefcake always a man's man reaches out his glove in respect to Ware who meets him in kind, the fan's love it as they show their appreciation for what they just witnessed as Beefcake side steps and incoming strike but is caught with a follow-up jab from Ware, a combination now as Ware lands a nice hook to the body before cracking Beefcake in eye with a solid shot, another jab by Ware as Beefcake walks straight into a straight right.

Beefcake has been tagged now with a massive uppercut that's sent him crashing to the mat as Ware motions him to return to his feet, the crowd is on its feet for this!!! Ware dominate now with a series of strikes that leave Beefcake struggling to stay in this fight and is clearly winded already as Ware lands with a big right hook that stumbles Beefcake - he's out on his feet here! Ware follows up with another monster hook that separates Beefcake from consciousness! Beefcake falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ware stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

170lbs: Winslow Berhardt vs Dougal McGuire

Height: 175 cm Height: 182 cm

Weight: 167 lbs Weight: 171 lbs

Record: 9-5-3 (WDWLW) Record: 4-2-0 (WWLWW)

Pre:

Fresh off his two fight series with Brannigan Steele following the stalemate draw of Aspire 33 and going on to defeat Steele via unanimous decision at Aspire 41, Winslow Berhardt is ready to resume his rise to the top of the division. Making his Aspire MMA debut is none other than "Father" Dougal McGuire fresh of two KO (Punch) victories during his time at Dignity! most notably against former Aspire 170lbs champion Chance Birmbaum at D48 Barrientos vs Lopes earning the KO of the night bonus, and against Rascal Donkashane at D51 Nystrom vs Militech, with only two career loss's to his name he will be looking to make an instant impact at Berhardt's expense.

Fight:

Berhardt wants to take this fight to the ground early but McGuire is having none of it as he loads up big left that Berhardt narrowly avoids, McGuire pressing the action now with a crisp jab before ducking a looping hook from Berhardt only to counter with a stiff right hand of his own that glances it's target, McGuire is cautious now with his hands held high trying protecting his head from a powerful looking hook but unfortunately for him its landed and done some significant damage, Berhardt's hurt but he's trying not to show it as both fighters exchange a series of strikes with McGuire just about getting the better of it, Berhardt looking to improve his fortunes fakes and overhand right and moves the fight into the clinch, pushing McGuire back against the cage but a nasty left hand by McGuire has left Berhardt cut over his right temple with blood spewing down his face as McGuire takes the opportunity to break from the position and return to optimal striking range cracking Berhardt with a lovely hook to the jaw, both fighters smile at each other in acknowledgement before touching gloves again to continue the action, the fans are loving this! Both fighters looking good now as they trade strikes drawing a close to the very first round with McGuire slightly ahead in the eyes of the judges.

Berhardt slips a straight right and returns fire with a nice jab to the body establishing range but fails to land with a wild right that is countered by McGuire with a quick right to the jaw, Berhardt changes levels and secures a double leg takedown as both fighters scramble for position, McGuire is trying to control to prevent Berhardt posturing and manages to use the momentum of a failed elbow strike to reverse his fortunes and make it into the top position but both fighters are very slippery now and Berhardt has once again regained the dominant position. Reigning down ground and pound delivering some big shots now as elbows and hammer fists find their target, the referee is paying close attention now as a monstrous elbow has left McGuire clearly rocked. Displaying the heart of a champion McGuire digs deep to stay in the fight as Berhardt unrelentingly drops bombs, the referee is warning both fighters to not make use of the side of the cage as Berhardt is dislodged from his mount and decides to return to his feet, closing out the round by a fair margin for Berhardt.

McGuire comes out swinging for the third and final round but nothing seems to be landing as Berhardt backs away before closing the distance with speed and securing a trip takedown into side control, again looking to pass the guard and establish a superior position to drop bombs but McGuire is defending well from his back pinning Bernhardt's head close to his own chest while looking to sweep, both fighters jockeying for position with multiple reversals over the course of the round it's fair to say Berhardt will take this one.

Winner - Winslow Berhardt by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 55%

185lbs: Gurgan Davidyan vs Deontay Hunter

Height: 189 cm Height: 175 cm

Weight: 191 lbs Weight: 195 lbs

Record: 6-3-1 (LWWWD) Record: 9-8-0 (LLLLL)

Pre:

Guargen Davidyan makes his Aspire MMA debut following the recent acquisition of his long time home Dignity!, coming off a loss to Judge LaCrosse at D51 Nystrom vs Militech via TKO (Strikes) following what had been a three-fight undefeated streak Davidyan has made it clear in this month's issue of Aspire Magazine that he intends to start his Aspire career with a firm victory over his challenger tonight, standing across the cage from him will be none other than former Primal Fear 185lbs champion Deontay Hunter, a world class boxer with a questionable chin but all the explosiveness of a tank on steroids, can he get it done one last time or will this be the end of the road for the Hunter?

Fight:

As the bell rings Hunter checks gloves with Davidyan in a sign of respect before the action gets underway, looking for the clinch early as Davidyan is able to side step and deliver a stiff right hand but Hunter has his gameplan and he's sticking to it, pushing forward and establishing the clinch before landing a couple of good shots in the moments before Davidyan is able to break from the position and return to the middle of the mat, another nice straight right from Davidyan has left Hunter cut under his left eye as Hunter drops his hands in disbelife and takes a stinging shot to the body for this trouble, Hunter as if incensed by the blood enters a blood lusted stated wadeing forward and pinning Davidyan to the clinch delivering a montage of brutual shots that score well with the judges as Davidyan looks to improve his position, now turned into his opponnet as opposed to been wedged against the side of the cage as he had been previously, Davidyan looks to defend the incoming strikes as the round comes to a close, Hunter might of just about taken that one with the judges.

No time for messing about as Hunter pushes Davidyan right back up against the cage to start things off for the second round, landing some stiff shots and a nice uppercut up the middle Hunter is looking good but Davidyan listening to his corner is trying to break from the position, he's successsful and has established his optimal striking range, Davidyan lands an uppercut that bounces Hunter off the side of the cage and back into range, Hunters hurt now as Davidyan continues to unload strike after strike punishing Hunter with every shot, Hunter looks to be gasping for air but has struggled his way back into the clinch closing the distance and reducing the incoming damage, Davidyan now more agressive is actually getting the better of the clinch and a nasty swift jab has left Hunters cut under his left eye even more exposed as the wound continues to gush blood all over Davidyan's gloves and spread across Hunters face with every blow, Davidyan has secured this round.

Out for the third and Davidyan avoids a clinch and counters nicely with a series of hooks to the body that stun Hunter in his tracks, Hunter circling away to take a moment of recovery comes back in with some big shots of his own as he presses forward looking to push the fight into the clinch, Davidyan is pressed to the cage but summons enough energy to rebuk the attempt and returns to his optimal range as Hunter displays some fantastic striking defense narrowly avoiding a series of strikes that looked to finish the fight if they had landed, Davidyan looks fantastic tonight as we close out the third and final round.

Winner - Gurgen Davidyan by way Unanimous Decision : Fight Rating 45%

Well, Timmermans is the new champ after he outpointed Kincaid.

My reaction to the fight?

giphy.gif

Boring shit!

They had to wake me up halfway into the fight.

You can keep the belt warm for me Timmermans, until I butcher you the way Origi did with your legendary training partner Kakoullis.

I'm the new breed, not interested in the pillow-fist-style-fighting-approach that has been going on too long now at the top level of the sport.

High risks, high rewards!

Ramon Gracie - Champions Spotlight:
At the top of the Aspire welterweight food chain sits an absolute lion. Ramon Gracie, the reigning king of the jungle, has been a terrifying force in the cage since his debut at Rehab One against an unprepared and unsuspecting Samm Rooney.

170lbs: Samm Rooney

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/28/28w7.jpg

Age: 25

Height: 183 cm

Weight: 180 lbs

Record: 0-0-0 (-----)

"Rooney tries to buck Gracie off so he can stand up but Gracie has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Rooney falls backwards, slamming Gracie to the mat but Gracie holds on tight! Rooney is forced to tap and this one is all over!"

From there, Gracie went on an absolutely ridiculous romp through three different organizations, racking up a thirteen fight win streak and winning both the Immortals and Strike Force Union welterweight championships. When Gracie took the Immortals welterweight title from a then 7-0 and unstoppable-seeming Angelo Moore, the world took notice.

170lbs: Angelo Moore

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1b9.jpg

Age: 28

Height: 180 cm

Weight: 176 lbs

Record: 7-0-0 (WWWWW)

"Gracie in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Moore tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gracie!"

A fourth-generation member of the famous Gracie family of gladiators, Ramon proudly lives up to the family legacy. A dynamic and explosive grappler, Gracie has acquired eleven Of-The-Night bonus awards in only twenty fights, and is a master at putting his enemies on the ground.

170lbs: Clayton Atkinson

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/28/28w14.jpg

Age: 21

Height: 183 cm

Weight: 172 lbs

Record: 4-0-0 (WWWW-)

"Gracie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Atkinson to the ground. Gracie is now in Atkinson's guard." "The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A low kick from Atkinson misses and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into half guard" as the fight continues to intensify, "and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Atkinson didn't expect that." "Gracie jumps into guard, dragging Atkinson to the mat."

His frustrated opponents have for the most part been unable to stop the onslaught, eventually succumbing to a carefully planned and executed trap.

"Atkinson stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Gracie has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Atkinson manages to get his head free but now Gracie has transitioned to an armbar! Atkinson grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Gracie! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!"

170lbs: Dum Debble

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/1/1w21.jpg

Age: 22

Height: 181 cm

Weight: 175 lbs

Record: 7-1-1 (WDWWW)

Due to the amazing debut run and the wave of hype on which he came to Aspire, Ramon Gracie made his Aspire debut in a bout for the title against Dum Debble at Just Bleed 30. Once again, a victorious Ramon Gracie would hold a championship belt.

"Gracie has his feet on Debble's thighs here. He's pushed Debble off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Debble screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over! Ramon Gracie is the new welterweight champion!"

170lbs: Andy Fitzgerald

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/39/39b3.jpg

Age: 30

Height: 184 cm

Weight: 184 lbs

Record: 16-6-0 (LLWWL)

Although he lost the belt in his next fight, dropping a decision to a very tough Jed Knight, Gracie came back to redeem himself at Just Bleed 42, punishing monster wrestler Andy Fitzgerald with a crippling armbar in under two minutes, a victory that have Gracie another Sub of the Night honor, as well as another shot at the welterweight title.

"Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fitzgerald has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends and breaks Fitzgerald's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie."

170lbs: Alessandro Orsini

http://www.mmatycoon.com/gallery/0/13967245261111.jpg

Age: 24

Height: 175 cm

Weight: 145 lbs

Record: 8-2-0 (WWWWW)

At Aspire 46, Gracie faced one of his toughest challenges to date when he faced off against Abu Dhabi champion Allesandro Orsini. This match was a grappling clinic, as both men aggressively fought for a tactical advantage on the ground for three rounds.

"Orsini bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Orsini manages to get himself to full guard."

"Orsini has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Gracie escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Gracie!" Eventually, however, a tireless Ramon Gracie wore away at the champion, and finally secured his victory in the third round.

"Orsini is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Gracie's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Gracie! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Orsini has tapped! This one is allllll over!"

Epilogue of a Champion:
Now, as the two-time and current Aspire Welterweight Champion, Gracie has a lot to prove. It's hard to remain the king in a jungle full of predators, and the Aspire welterweight division is stacked and dangerous. Ramon Gracie's next challenge comes in the form of world champion striker Paul Warror. Currently riding an eight-fight win streak, Warror has lost only one fight in thirteen contests, and will make his Aspire debut in grand fashion, by coming straight for the top and vying for Ramon Gracie's welterweight belt. At Aspire 52, it will be a classic world-class grappler vs. amazingly talented striker main event, as two of the most dangerous predators in the world face off in a contest for the Aspire Welterweight Championship!

Michael Kristian (282651)

Had a rough start to my Aspire contract, too many distractions in my life to be able to compete in this org.

I got back to basics, re-focused, chalked up a W, and I'm ready to roll.

The McGee loss ill take on the chin, the loss to Don Gotti was a fluke. I had so much shit going on, I couldn't even train properly, let alone fight. I want that one back.

What ya say Gotti, fancy your chances? Let's make it happen. I promise the Aspire management, and my fans, I'll KO this punk if he accepts.

Age: 25

Height: 200 cm

Weight: 275 lbs

Record: 13-3-0 (WWWWW)

Joining us this week is dominate 265lbs fighter Rocket Bob Frankels, making the jump from the now defunct Evolution organisation run by Mega Jug out of Helsinki with eye's set firmly on the top contenders of the Aspire 265lbs division, while his victories are numerous and heavily documented, little is known about the personal life of Frankels. With insiders suggesting he may be somewhat eccentric with a propensity to sleep very little, favoring meditation to ambient psy-trance music while ingesting herbal remedies over traditional relaxation, his training technique remains a mystery, however successful. Aspire MMA is very happy to welcome this monster of a man to the roster.
I would also like to thank Jason Hi for running odd's for tonight's event over at JHL Casino & Arcade and encourage you all to add to the fun by betting on upcoming cards with JHL Casino & Arcade.

Record: 17-7-0 (LWWWL) Record: 11-4-0 (WWLLW)
Pre:
Former Aspire MMA 205lbs champion Gerrald James stood across the cage from Mikael Brophy with zero fear in his eyes as he waded forward to war at Aspire 44: Gerrald vs Brophy, in a valiant display of courage Gerrald took Brophy to the limit until a brutal spinning backfist took the champion out on his feet delivering the most crushing victory of his career to date, James has made it known that he intends to climb back to the top of the mountain and reclaim his title at any costs, the road to redemption starts here.
Rickson Moura the former Caged Combat Rio 205lbs champion is no stranger to fighting the very best with victories over some of the division's top contenders in both CCR and Dignity! before finally making the jump to Aspire MMA following the acquisition of the now-defunct Dignity! fighting championships, his most recent win's being a KO (Strikes) domination of Waymon Lattimore at D48 Barrientos v Lopez and a Submission (Armbar) victory over Stanislav Guschin at D51 Nystrom v Militech. Moura will look at tonight as an opportunity to rise above the competition and firmly establish himself as a player in Aspire MMA.
Fight:
Moura is looking for the takedown early but fails to secure it as James counters with a quick right hand, Moura responding to a call from his corner fires off a nice uppercut in response that leaves James cut and bleeding before following up with a leading jab that allowed him to secure the clinch, James now struggling to land shots from the inside looked to establish some range pushing away as Moura looked to pull guard but failed to muster the strength required to break from the position, resigned to his destiny James settled into the clinch and worked to land some solid looking hooks to the body of Moura who continued to try and enforce his desire to take the fight to the ground as James displayed excellent takedown defense and balance thwarting the attempts at every turn, following a failed guard pull attempt by Moura it was James who finally managed to break from the clinch and circle away, allowing him to land a series of heavy strikes and forcing Moura to trade openly. Ultimately James's experienced prevailed having been able to secure the points required to get the nod from the judges in the final minutes of the round with some solid leg strikes that reverberated around the arena.
Out for the second and Moura scores immediately with a solid shot to the body before following up with a looping right hand that left James in shock as he reached for his temple in pain allowing Moura to stun him with a direct jab down the middle that allowed Moura to finally secure a takedown in the proceeding melee, down on the ground Moura looked to land some heavy shots reigning down ground and pound as he looked to soften up his opponent ahead of a series of submission attempts. Moura has his feet on James's thighs here. He's pushed James off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! James screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
