markyosullivan
http://i.imgur.com/vSwjYGH.png Currently I feel the MMA Tycoon is lacking in terms of both design and content (Buzz isn't even included). If you compare the MMA Tycoon wiki to the likes of the wiki for Minecraft or DayZ, the MMA Tycoon looks very basic compared to both. I know some might say that due to Minecraft and DayZ not being a browser based game, they have a much better wiki but if you look at the likes of Hobowars, they too have a better wiki than MMA Tycoon. What I would like to see is a revamp in the design, making it easier to find content and nice to look at along with more content regarding organisations, alliances, fighters, popular clothing / nutrition stores, etc. Being critical of the wiki, it looks pretty bad from a new users perspective, hardly anything is on the main page which forces people to search for whatever it is they are looking for. To help improve the wiki I feel that there should be a team created to help monitor what is created and added to the Tycoon wiki, it shouldn't be a free for all where anyone can submit any changes they like, there should be a review into what is being posted / edited and then it should be approved. Perhaps this is what happens already, I'm not sure as I haven't submitted anything myself before. I feel this would be especially good with there being a number of non-MMA Tycoon related wiki pages. For easy comparison of other wiki's I've provided screenshots below of their main page. http://i.imgur.com/cIxVUGf.png http://i.imgur.com/5cutj6q.png http://i.imgur.com/Fnh2hTo.png

I'd like to resurrect this idea. Not so much for the purposes of reviewing/approving posts but primarily to a) get rid of the colossal amount of spam and b] to make improvements to the layout to encourage people to start generating more content I'm also happy to volunteer. Vlad
Massive apologies for reviving a very old suggestion, I was actually looking at the Tycoon wiki earlier and thought about this so I figured I'd chime in a little. The one issue that I tend to experience is the difficulty navigating to the relevant content, however, I think perhaps a lightweight solution that the existing wiki could be migrated over to could be https://www.bookstackapp.com/ or https://js.wiki/. Both frameworks are very modern, customisable and easy to manage but naturally, there would have to be a bit of community effort post-migration to ensure that the information is complete and up-to-date. 🙂 Demo BookStack: https://demo.bookstackapp.com/shelves Demo WikiJS: https://docs.requarks.io/guide/intro
